Is the game fun? Yes, for the hardcore gamer, but not for the newbie. The newbie should wait a few years before sinking his teeth into this one.

Undoubtedly a fun little platformer. The game boasts respectable gameplay, and an impressive audio-visual combination, as well as a comical plot from the folks at Dreamworks. There's plenty to do in the levels, and plenty to unlock for a second play through.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 is undoubtedly the best golf game on the market right now. If you picked up last year's version, however, the refinements-unless you're a diehard Tiger fan-may not be enough to warrant the purchase.

Dark Sector doesn’t try to revolutionize the action game genre. It just wants you to have fun, by killing enemies with an awesome weapon and going online to do the same. And it certainly succeeds as being a fun game, with great presentation values.

A fun little game. It does a great job of keeping everything that made The Sims so interesting on the PC. However, the game isn’t as well suited for consoles as previous Sims games were. The removal of a real story mode is certainly a detriment. The actual gameplay is top-notch as always, though.

Sega is firmly established as one the best developers for arcade racers and you don't need to look further than OutRun 2006 to see why.

Major League Baseball 2K8 is a great baseball game. Kush Games made plenty of improvements to the core baseball engine, most of which are wholly welcome.

NBA 08 on PSP is definitely the best of the three NBA 08 games, and a good basketball game to boot.

Cars is not the most complex racing game around, but it manages to capture the Pixar spirit very well. Aside from this, it’s an enjoyable game with solid gameplay and a great presentation.

A pretty compelling game on the Nintendo DS. It is structured enough to give you some purpose in what you’re doing but contains enough of the more open-endedness of the other modes to keep things interesting.

The game very accurately recreates the college atmosphere, though the spotty visuals and lacking dynasty mode don't let it become as good as it can be.

One of the most entertaining games on the Wii. If it weren’t for the recycled tracks, which come from earlier SSX games, this would be a must have. The ubertricks are a little annoying to pull off and unfortunately required to get far into the game, as well.

Spider-Man 3 on PS2 is essentially the Wii version without the motion-sensitive control system. The end result is a game that pales in comparison to and would not be a suitable replacement for the next-generation versions.

Call of Duty 4 manages to bring the frenetic, highly scripted gunfights of its big siblings to the Nintendo DS. It’s definitely one of the handheld’s best shooters, although it would have arguably been the best with the inclusion of online multiplayer.

Medal of Honor Heroes 2 isn’t going to win awards for being groundbreaking or innovating. But if you’re a Wii owner looking forward to running down some Germans using your new Wii Zapper or just want a good, old-fashioned run-and-gun shooter, then this is your game.
