A solid adventure with a cool scenario mixture of science fiction and fantasy. Elex is not a must-have title for RPG fans like Divinity: Original Sin 2 - but it's a nice addition.- PC Games

The innovative time-altering gameplay falls a wee bit short of our expectations and there aren't any outstanding parts throughout the rest of the game either. But Raven Software know their trade and although their new game is lacking in absolute blasts, Singularity makes up for a nice pastime and satisfies with its plain good old-school gameplay.- PC Games

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter tells an interesting story and presents the best graphics possible today on a PC. Although the presentation of the world is wonderful and drives you right into it, the game lacks NPCs, dialogue and would need a lot more puzzles to fill the open world much more properly to not bore the player at times. The game is more about exploring a detailed world with some rare quests in about 4-5 hours than enjoying any other "regular" adventure game.- PC Games

While the superb atmosphere and the sheer (and surprising) tactical depth easily manage to engage anyone somewhat interested in strategy and/or Warhammer games, this one of a kind symbiosis of fantasy football, over-the-top bloody humour and smart gameplay does struggle with console hardware, loading times, rather mediocre graphics and an annoying DLC species roster.- PC Games

We really hoped, that Codemasters would have been able to create a worthy sequel to the classic military-simulation OFP: Cold War Crisis. The first impressions have been great, but in the end, Dragon Rising is just a common tactical-shooter like a Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. It is far away from a real simulation. The campaign has its ups and downs, but you’re always just the leader of a little infantry-squad, you don’t fly exciting helicopter-missions, you’re not involved in huge tank battles. There is no storyline and there are no cutscenes that would give you the feeling of playing an important part within a big military campaign. You just finished one mission and get to the next, that’s it. The game has so much potential, but the developers just didn’t use it – a pity!- PC Games

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is a complex and challenging RPG for experienced fans of the genre. The vast game world and the pawn system motivate for hours and hours. However the game can’t hide his age.- PC Games

A rather peculiar, yet very enjoyable tribute to traditional adventure games that suffers notably from uneven storytelling and some bland characters. Luckily the beautiful retro visuals, satisfying puzzles and (almost too) many references to the genre easily make up for that. Thimbleweed Park may not be remembered as a modern classic, but it's a good adventure with tons of style and one of the most bizarre endings we've seen in a long, long time.- PC Games

Pathfinder: Kingmaker is an incredibly extensive and complex RPG with great story, characters and fresh ideas surrounding the kingdom building. Unfortunately it suffers from some design flaws, bugs and excessive loading screens.- PC Games

A nice genre-mix that combines elements of both strategy and action. Battlestations: Pacific succeeds in providing gameplay and performance almost free of grave mistakes, but unfortunately free of highlights and memorable experiences as well.- PC Games

Velvet Assassin isn’t an easy game. The unfair saving points and logical inconsequences are annoying and even frustrating and the slow pace will bore the pants off of many players. But those who are willing to immerse into Velvette’s cheerless, morbid world will be rewarded with an atmosphere intense beyond believe and probably the most mature WW2-game for years to come.- PC Games

Without its open world and many beloved features from its predecessor, Sims 4 loses some of the series’ charm. Fortunately, the concept of Sims works so well that none of this dulls the fun in a significant way. The new emotion system is a little superficial, however, and could use work in the future.- PC Games

The Ascension edition of Space Hulk is better than its predecessor in every regard. The tactical gameplay opens up a lot of opportunities and the Warhammer-atmosphere is well-made. Its presentation is still a bit barren though and we miss the hot-seat-multiplayer of the first Space Hulk.- PC Games

Apart from some bugs in the initial release version, a great WW2 tactical shooter with dense atmosphere and realistic weapons such as infantry guns and soviet and german tanks. Up to 64 players fight each other in two teams online and in local networks.- PC Games

You´ll either love it or hate it but there are things about Kane & Lynch 2 that won´t make you forget it. The graphics are refreshingly unique, the characters shine like dark diamonds out of the mass of your-average-videogame-hero and the story will shock you. But please, do not talk about the gunplay, ever.- PC Games

It’s more a playable Demo than a full-flavored game. Gameplay itself offers much stealth-variety and a fantastic atmosphere with great graphics and sound. The replay-value is nice and let the player try various playstyles. It’s a good appetizer for upcoming Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. Menus and are not optimized for pc, gamepad is recommended.- PC Games

The game was promised as a true D&D-Experience, which in fact it isn’t. The RPG-rules are changed in a casual way, so in the end SCL feels more like a dragon-age-experience within a nice D&D-setting. If you can accept that, the game offers a good story-campaign with party-based combat, which is fun. On top you can create your own dungeons and quests, and play it with friends, including one player as a dungeon-master. Sounds good, but the creative power of the editor is not that big as in the classic Neverwinter-Series.- PC Games

Disciples 3: Renaissance delivers three big campaigns that entertain for a long time. It looks remarkably good and the gameplay mechanics are adequately implemented. However, the game lacks the depth of titles like Heroes of Might and Magic 5. The armies are too small, the castle building system is rather rudimentary and the mission design is mostly straight-lined. Additionally, the music and the German dub will unnerve you after seconds. A nice try at turn base strategy, but not a big leap in the genre.- PC Games

A generic turn-bases fantasy strategy game that is far too difficult for beginners. That begin said, experts and players with a taste for anti-heroes will find a pretty streamlined experience in a not-so-politically-correct world.- PC Games

A traditional, yet highly accessible 4X game that offers nothing new aside from real-time combat, but is still a lot of fun to play. A great choice for newcomers who enjoy a rich space strategy experience, but shy away from more complex games like Endless Space or Stellaris.- PC Games

The first chapter is a charming adventure game, featuring a short, but interesting story, great voice actors and a beautiful soundtrack. The puzzles however are too simplistic and most of the side characters get brushed aside too soon. It's still fun, for sure, and some of these issues might be fixed in the second chapter, but so far Broken Age is not the classic we hoped for.- PC Games

In Hawx 2 there are new mission types like delivering suppression fire for allied forces or navigating spy satellites. Furthermore you can now land, start or get refueled in some missions. These new features provide a bit variety though they are not very demanding. On the downside Hawx 2 fails to create any atmosphere due to the boring and confused story. In short, Hawx 2 is an improved Hawx 1, with more variety and less story. Those who enjoyed the first game, especially the dogfights, will also enjoy the second one. Those who hoped for innovation might be disappointed.- PC Games

Though its graphics aren't as impressive as the first one's were six years ago, F.E.A.R. 3 still has a lot going for it. The campaign, albeit short, does a great job of creating interesting combat situations which are only solvable through use of the trusted slow motion mechanic and the new, easy to use cover system. Co-op is always fun and the multiplayer options are interesting, even if their lasting appeal is doubtful. If you are able to overlook it's dated looks, artificial level design and some balancing flaws, F.E.A.R. 3 is a fun shooter for the summer.- PC Games

With reviewing remakes, I always tend to find myself in a bit of a bind: should I judge the original game by today’s standards or not? Maybe I should only look at the quality of the remake/remaster itself? But because Resident Evil HD Remaster is - in this version – a first time ever release on PC, and the original game is banned in Germany, I can wholeheartedly recommend the game to everyone who hasn’t been able to play the first Resident Evil yet. Personally, I really wouldn’t want to miss all the technical improvements. Though I do wish, they had also improved upon loading times and the inventory-system.- PC Games

Arma 3: The newest installment of Bohemia's military-game is more than ever an excellent platform and sandbox with great potential. Especially since the community has built much in-game content so far. Unfortunately the game-content, included by the developers, is not satisfying enough. The units and game-areas are great, but there are many bugs with AI, scripts and more and only a few multiplayer scenarios available.- PC Games

A motivating slaughterfest with systems you can completely immerse yourself in, but don't have to. Fun exploration and varied combat styles enrich the experience, but Nioh 3 also suffers from the same technical, loot, and recycling issues as Team Ninja's previous works.- PC Games
