Despite very linear gameplay and a level-design that is just short of plagiarism, Legendary delivers action-packed fun, impressive monsters, a good atmosphere and the feeling that Spark learned from the abysmal Turning Point.- PC Games

Evoland 2 finally gets it right and vastly improves upon the first game. It combines a charming story, tons of retro goodness an lots of variety to a robust, fully fledged game. If you have any love for video game classics, especially from the 16-bit era, Evoland 2 is for you.- PC Games

The world of Venetica is beautiful and unique, but it suffers from some serious technical issues and an overall lack of polish. Still, with its fun, fast paced combat, good atmosphere and engaging quests it's a fine gaming experience nonetheless and a solid recommendation for those who are not looking for an all to deep role playing experience.- PC Games

Ubisoft once again fails to tell an engaging story, instead mixing a somewhat confused, even boring plot with bland characters. While Watch Dogs 2 is near-perfect PC port with lots of PC-specific options both for graphics as well as controls, the underlying game wastes a lot of potential. The beautiful rendition of San Francisco is a great background for some neat hacking tricks and fun missions, yet, aside from the shift in tone, Watch Dogs 2 isn’t the anticipated step forward for the series.- PC Games

Knightmare Tower shows again, that the simplest ideas are often the best. Great accessibility and a excellently balanced upgrade system make this an ideal candidate for a quick dose of fun prior to going to bed. There may not be much to Knightmare Tower, but what’s on offer here, is polished to a brilliant shine.- PC Games

Only a few hours into Ubisofts Winter Wonderland and I had already made up my mind: Steep is the Surprise-Hit of the year. But in the hours to follow, my evaluation changed a little bit. Steep is still a really good game, but I wouldn’t want to call it a hit anymore. The concept of the online-mode doesn’t work as intended by the developers and after about 15 hours or so, any real challenge, thus any kind of motivation, vanishes all together from the game. The game’s world is just far too huge for harboring only that little amount of content. A fact that is indeed very unfortunate, because up to a certain point, I was immensely entertained by Steep. I definitely long for a sequel though. This time maybe something summer-themed like skateboarding, BMX and wing suits.- PC Games

Sniper Elite 4 is the best in the series, even if familiar flaws are still there, namely dumb AI, trashy story and low fidelity graphics. Yet all this is easily forgotten when on the prowl in one of the gigantic levels, looking for targets, using stealth to kill them and watching through the x-ray camera, as their balls explode in gory detail.- PC Games

While not as good as The New Order, The Old Blood is a very entertaining, classical ego-shooter. The iconic castle and its surrounding mountainside make for a very immersive setting, although it’s not as depressing and dark as the predecessor. With its six hour story campaign, a lot of secrets and collectibles and a few (unspectacular) challenge modes The Old Blood is definitely worth the money.- PC Games

Welcome back in the 80s - Frontier Developments did its job and offers the same game experience that players of the original Elite had 30 years ago. Elite: Dangerous looks pretty and sounds awesome, same for the flight-model, if you're lucky enough, owning a HOTAS. Besides the great space-feeling the core game is simple - raise money, get better equipment. There is no campaign and no cinematic entertainment, it is pure simulation with lots of repetition, but also fascinating content for hours.- PC Games

Have you ever felt cold when playing a game? In Cryostasis you’ll be confronted with deadly cold, while you are exploring a long missing icebreaker-ship in the Arctic. This unusual shooter uses an innovative temperature-health-system and the horror-scripts are well done.- PC Games

MUD TV aims at reinventing the classic Mad TV. There are lots of cool jokes and skits on TV and Hollywood and the comic characters are nearly as cute as the ones of the original. But developer Realmforge should have put more time into playtesting. Glitches and bugs spoil the the experience and the presentation is rather lame. A nice try and an O.K. simulation but clearly not a rejuvenation of the original game.- PC Games

The Italian studio Milestone has developed many bike racing simulations like SBK, MotoGP or MXGP in the last years, but Ride takes a different route and is based on amateur motorbike racing. So it is possible to race on closed traffic roads and some famous GP-courses with over one hundred street bikes. Ride is a good game with nice physics, but unfortunately the sound is weak and there are a lot of bugs.- PC Games

Strong characters, thrilling story, but I expected more from the final episode. […] It’s obvious that your previous decisions have no real effect and especially the most emotional storyline lacks a satisfying conclusion.- PC Games

A charming, rock-solid metroidvania that should appeal to every fan of the Castlevania series, even though it would have benefited greatly from a more interconnected game world and better use of its time manipulation mechanics.- PC Games

If you are a Wipeout fan and not averse to a round of Mario Kart, you belong to the target group of Grip and have a lot of fun with the game. Especially the speed devil races let the adrenaline level rise, while the weapon events provide a lot of pleasure. Unfortunately the joy diminishes with time, because career structure and presentation are rather dull. The PS4 version is technically clean and therefore absolutely recommendable for fans of action racers.- PC Games

It is a really bumpy start for a new era in the Mass Effect series. Almost as if the developers wanted to create something reminiscent of the tough challenges the milky way species face in their new home. But in the end there is just the perception, that bigger is not always better.- PC Games

Its story and characters are definetly the Game’s forte. Scenes range from endearing and relateable to completly absurd and hilarious. All the while Gameplay is interesting at first, but becomes pretty tedious and - in parts - nigh unbeatable in later stages of the game. But at no time did we consider quitting, because the creative story and great dialogue always pulls you back in, as soon as you get annoyed by the puzzle sections. Atlu’s erotic-dating-adventure manages to deliver extremely well on various fronts, but sadly falls short of its gameplay variety and interactivity in terms of story. Nonetheless, all the other parts of the game are strong enough to elevate Catherine to a truly great experience.- PC Games

A fun and throughout enjoyable kick-off for Telltales new adventure series - but as an actual Monkey Island game, it does not fully satisfy. There are only a few characters to interact with, the plot is really not that interesting and the 3D graphics are a bit low on detail. Voice acting is superb, however - Dominic Armato really hits the mark in his performance of Guybrush.- PC Games

A well done train-sim that offers quite good and traditional tycoon-gameplay like in Transport-Tycoon, Sid Meiers’ Railroads or Cities in Motion. The playable time period goes from 1850 through 2020 and gives you access to 45 nicely modelled trains and vehicles. The graphics are ok, but not that great for a modern PC game. Vehicles sounds good, but the music-tracks are awful. You can spend very long time in establishing and optimizing your handmade routes and lines, so the game can be satisfying for weeks, especially for its good mod-support.- PC Games

The Single-player part is inferior to the big combatants in the genre in almost every aspect. Though the pacing is right, the sounds are superb and Medal of Honor presents a solid shooter-core, the missions are repetitive, the AI is non-existent and the scripting is extremely bad. Finally: And if anyone can clarify what the incoherent story is all about, I will award him with a prize. The multiplayer-part is a whole different issue that we will deal with as soon as the servers for the retail-version go up.- PC Games

The three playable of five planned episodes in this nicely written stealth-adventure offers great storytelling and a believable main character. The stealth-mechanics combine sneaky moments with some optional action-gameplay. The dystopian setting gives you the feeling of playing George Orwell's “1984” alive. Graphics with Unity 5 Engine are good, the voice-acting of the main characters is great. Some lacking aspects in AI-failure and the more linear level-design can make you feel a little bit disappointed. But in the end it’s a quite entertaining and well done iOS-port to PC.- PC Games

Like most other VR-games, Eagle Flight works best in small portions. Because gameplay-wise, there is not much to it. The courses might have enough variability, but the game-modes are severely lacking – especially in multiplayer. Though the beautiful landscape of Paris always entices me with either a casual flight or a high speed race through the subway-station. If flying in VR is something, you can get behind than you’ll find Eagle Fly to be a creative alternative to any action packed shooting gallery.- PC Games

Yesterday is a good adventure, which is different from the further Pendulo Studios games in it's style. The story about satanic cults and intrigues is present in a comic style and contains mystery and even horror elements. Most of the puzzles are logical, although too easy and often lacks alternative solutions. Yesterday kind of stands in it's own way and does not use all available possibilities to create a great game out of the story and characters. It's a proper game for genre beginners with nice graphics and presentation, but it's very short and veterans will be underchallenged.- PC Games

If you like simple nonstop-action, combined with cool boss-fights, you’re in the right place in Dark Sector. Though the story-plot appears like a bad B-movie, your character fights with a special, and very cool boomerang-weapon, the glaive. The gore-level is very high, so the game is recommended only for adults.- PC Games
