Has its flaws, but with more polish and improved naval and air AI, this could be one of the great light wargames.

It still feels like a six-year-old game, and that's probably a sign to move on to something a little newer. [Holiday 2012, p.73]

Wurm Online is one of the most innovative MMOs around, but damn, will it make you work to appreciate that fact.

Addictive, if soon over. An intoxicating cocktail of molten merriment, Puddle is a glass-half-full kind of game.

A neat story threads missions together and provided enough of a tug to pull me along. [April 2013, p.63]

Bleed is not as refined as the aforementioned Super Meat Boy, not is its action as satisfying balletic as most bullet shmups. But there's a real spark in it--a spirit that lights the game up every time things slot into place. [April 2013, p.63]

There's nothing wrong with Uprising, but neither is there enough right with it to make it worthwhile for any but serious fans. [Aug 2013, p.75]

Fun and deceptively simple, Joe Danger will have you laughing at the ridiculous ways you can fail(or succeed). [Oct 2013, p.69]

Barely noticeable differences to Black Flag make Freedom Cry an inessential add-on to Assassin's Creed IV. [April 2014, p.66]

But LocoCycle is unchallenging, unengaging, and chronically unfunny, and when ideas start to repeat themselves, the game drags along like Pablo himself. [May 2014, p.74]

Two great maps and a poor one make Expedition an over-expensive proposition. Respawn also squander a great chance to extend Titanfall’s fiction.

A simple, bite-sized game that will still eat your face, but many levels shallower than its rivals.

Lacks balance and grows repetitive, but provides a handful of good puzzle chambers if you're willing to pay for them.

Though it’s not ambitious enough for die-hard flight sim fans, the Arma 3 Helicopters DLC adds flight sim-style depth to gaming’s greatest military.

Though this expansion is small and inexpensive, it fits perfectly into Endless Legend, filling in gaps and extending concepts. It’s a mite uninspired—as we said giants and wonders aren’t exactly alien to 4X games—and it doesn’t fix the bigger problems with the game—that underwhelming combat—but it certainly guards against anyone stealing the 4X crown, for the time being.
