What gives this game its punch is the sublime grindhouse presentation, making for a hugely entertaining game experience. The gameplay is ultimately very shallow, but from the soundtrack to the dialogue to the sheer silliness of the story you'd have to be dead inside to not enjoy this.- PALGN

Casual players might prefer to stick to its Wii Sports equivalent, but PGA Tour 10 is undoubtedly the definitive golf videogame for fans of the sport, offering a level of control and nuance that hasn't been achieved before in sports games.- PALGN

If Disgaea: Hour of Darkness was a person, they would have a red hand stamp labelled "Insane" and would be locked up in an asylum cell.- PALGN

Super Paper Mario is a game that doesn’t quite know what it wants to be and while it’s enjoyable, it’s ultimately an unremarkable adventure.- PALGN

One of the finest games to come from a console to a handheld and is easily the best flight sim on a handheld.- PALGN

With a bit more work on the weapons and little less emphasis on the melee combat, this mix of first and third person combat could be a real hit next time around. As it stands, it's still a very good game, but it falls a little short.- PALGN

As solid and reliable as Soulstorm is, it's a largely uninspired attempt to wring a few more bucks out of the series. If it's 'more of the same' that you're after, then go right ahead.- PALGN

Whilst not being overly different from the previous Battlefield games it does offer significant improvements and additions to gameplay to make it an extremely good game. A few bugs bring it down a little.- PALGN

The best open ended superhero game to date, despite what the score says. Excellent action sequences, but needs more mission variety.- PALGN

Solid game of ice hockey that shines brightly in some regards - but it isn't the Holy Grail of universal accessibility we would have liked. It's worth giving this pucker giving a lengthy chance.- PALGN

The second episode's story is a marked improvement on the first one, although it's still a short, easy ride through 1930s Hill Valley.- PALGN

At the end of the day, Quake Arena Arcade is a virtual ghost town, but if players are willing to give it a crack, it's one serious shooter that is worthy of your attention.- PALGN

LittleBigPlanet 2 throws in an absolutely massive amount of new features but forgets to improve upon its gameplay mechanics and in turn loses some of its groove.- PALGN

Improves on its predecessors in the right ways, and removes a lot of the useless features. That said, the core gameplay is still the same, and may strike some as being either repetitive or milking a series to near death.- PALGN

Dead Island, while rough around the edges, has a lot of content for those willing to put in the hard yards of side questing and zombie murdering, and is ultimately a solid open world adventure.- PALGN

A decent addition to any rhythm game enthusiast's collection, no matter what the age or experience level. However, older or more experienced gamers may find that the game lacks challenge and that the game's aesthetic is a tad too cheery.- PALGN

As far as a downloadable episode goes, Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty serves its purpose extremely well. The experience is fun, fast and furious throughout the four hours that it lasts and fans will definitely get a kick out of seeing how the story has progressed.- PALGN
