If you enjoyed the platforming and puzzle aspects of the past games then you won't find much fun here, however, if you enjoyed the shooting and action side of the series then this title will probably suit your needs.

The melee is still a little simplistic and the camera can get in the way, but it really feels like you're in a Lego universe with some incredibly varied puzzles as well as some intense action.

An absolute blast to play through alone or with a mate, Saints Row 2 is quite simply a must purchase for anybody that is looking for a bloody good time. And isn't that what we're all really looking for?

The Witcher provides some deep, interesting and reasonably mature RPG action. A touch more maturity, complexity in choices, and polish could have taken the game a little further, but overall, if you're looking for a great title in this genre, you would be doing yourself a favour to investigate what The Witcher has to offer.

A good, dependable RPG from the masters of the genre that would benefit enormously from some fresh ideas.

Trauma Centre is much like any other medical procedure - it feels fine until the anaesthetic wears off.

There’s certainly enough depth to be found for RTS fans, but once again, it falls a tad sort of our expectations.

The last chapter is also the best, rounding out Telltale's most enjoyable episodic series to date.

A tighter and more interesting instalment than the first episode, and a step in the right direction for this oddball series.

One of the better experiences of 2007 and one of the few to genuinely deliver something of a 'new' experience.

While some areas tend to fall flat and the world can sometimes feel a bit disjointed, Metro 2033 is a unique and unforgettable experience.

A truly wonderful adventure game, thanks largely to an excellent script and memorable cast of characters.

Star Fox 64 3D still holds up well today, and certainly enough to justify this remake. It's not a classic that redefined a genre, but it is a very fun arcade shooter with a huge amount of replayability.

While it may lack the "wow" factor of the original, SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2 is a great shooter for the PSP in its own right.

Arguably the best Bond game since the original GoldenEye, and the definitive single player Wii shooter, bought down only by marginal multiplayer flaws.

The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile goes straight for the jugular, rips out the voice box and releases a deafening roar. Why? Because it can, and because it's awesome.

MadWorld is stylish, sardonic, and one of the best beat 'em ups in recent memory. Imperfect, but worth a look for all adult Wii owners with a predilection for the dark side.

This game is a classic example of a developer being forced to innovate and embrace the Wii remote. Madden NFL 07 on the Wii is clearly one of the best uses of the Wii remote yet.
