It's the definitive version of Fable, but only those who've not played the Xbox game, or are die hard fans should pick it up, given the additional content is not as plentiful as one would have expected, nor does it make the game profoundly different from what was released 12 months ago.

Truly the best version of Dead or Alive - but it is not without its faults.

It may not be so much a stride than a baby step for the series, but Unreal Tournament III still manages to provide a solid return for pure hectic multiplayer entertainment.

Overall, while Need for Speed Shift appears to be aiming at providing a simulation-racing experience, it obviously hasn't forgotten about the series' core fan-base, making a game that can be enjoyed by just about any kind of racing game fan.

Still an incredibly addictive game but there are a lot of racing games out there for the launch and this is just a port.

A brave step in a new direction for the series. It won’t please everyone, but Final Fantasy XIII succeeds where it counts.

Bleach: The Blade of Fate may be two years old, but it still comes across as a great anime-based title and is far and away one of the best fighters on the Nintendo DS.

You can't deny the fun the platforming and the combat brings. But that's really all it brings now. It's merely a game you 'play' rather than an adventure you 'experience'.

Crackdown does have a few shortcomings such as an average targeting system and repetitive missions but the game really does have that "one more hour" feeling too it.

On the whole there is not much new going on in the world of Madden NFL 09, but the implementation of features that make it more accessible to casual gamers is a step in the right direction if the franchise is to flourish outside of the United States.

Fight Night Round 3 for the PS3 has the same old problems and a bunch of new ones - and a few scant extra features just aren't enough to tip the balance.

Whilst it is the #1 stop for V8 fans everywhere, it still falls some distance behind the mighty "Project Gotham Racing 2" and "Gran Turismo 3." This game is much more simulation than arcade based, so those expecting to be able to powerslide corners at high speed should look to "OutRun 2" or "Burnout 3" for their arcade racing fix.

Not even a wobbly second act can derail Insomniac's achievement with Resistance 3, a lean and engaging shooter which hums on a current of renewed creative energy and artistic focus. The franchise has finally founds its voice, and we look forward to what it has to say next.

Rogue Galaxy does many things right, and changes up the tired fantasy settings of the genre, but is still held back somewhat by convention. But if you're after a solid RPG, Rogue Galaxy will fit the bill nicely.
