Plenty of promise, but this game is going to require some decent updates over the coming months.

For anyone who hasn’t had their fill of retro side-scrolling platformers, Broforce effortless and undeniable fun. Load-up, settle in, and invite a few bros.

Still visually striking, but poor voice acting has undone much of the gravitas it once had.

For me, Snowfall will definitely be sticking around on my PC, but more as a feature I’ll dip into from time to time, rather than a permanent installation.

So, Gunscape isn’t another Minecraft. It’s a game for fans of old-school first person shooters.

The new prehistoric setting is amazing: swapping armed soldiers for tribesmen, a rifle for a bow and arrow, and er, regular elephants for woolly elephants - it all creates a very different atmosphere...However a lot of the game feels like déjà vu for anyone who’s played the previous one. The same setup of missions, the forming of alliances and expanding your territory, the same crazy-old guy character with a dead animal on his noggin, and even the same hallucinogenic discovery missions are all lifted straight from it. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it does make Primal feel like a spin-off rather than it’s own game.

A fun, mature entry in the Digimon series, let down by the verbose story and lack of challenge.

Obsidian Entertainment have managed to have the ante upped, and I feel the entire story told throughout Parts One and Two place The White March on a higher pedestal than most expansions, especially these days. This DLC is more than worth the asking price.

Etrian Odyssey II Untold: The Fafnir Knight is another solid entry in a great RPG series. More of the same will appeal to old fans, while a deeper, richer story mode and more forgiving difficulty make this a perfect jumping on point for newcomers.

I walked away from Unravel thinking not about those moments of frustration, plentiful as they are. All I could think about - and still keep thinking about - is the beautiful adventure I’d been on with Yarny, all culminating in one of the most captivating, lovely, heartwarming endings I’ve seen.Truly, Unravel is a special game.

Despite its problems, Gravity Rush Remastered is a refreshing change of pace, and a thoroughly enjoyable game to play. While not an improvement per se of the PS Vita game besides the graphics, it does bring Kat to the larger PS4 audience, and will undoubtedly win a few hearts. Especially with the less than average price for a PS4 game.

You’ll get frustrated, I can guarantee it – but that’s the point. It doesn’t offer tutorials, because the game is confident in your ability to prevail. It’s a treatise on our ability to develop and grow, as we attempt to make sense of the unknown.

The difficulty curve might scare some people away, especially those who haven’t experienced an XCOM game before. There are a few little technical hiccups like certain alien enemies going invisible during their attack animations, or damage numbers taking a few seconds to show after an attack has played out. However, these things are easily ignored and I can still highly recommend XCOM 2.

There are other driving games that have just as much content and perform better, but right now, Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo is the only one covering the rally discipline. So it’s not a case of the best rally game out there, but rather, it’s the only rally game out there.... for now.
