The characters and plot are great. The dialogue, not so much.- NZGamer

Overall we found the game very playable. We liked the inclusion of Australian and New Zealand units and the theatre of war was is very challenging.- NZGamer

Company of Heroes 2 is a good World War 2 strategy game. But it’s not a memorable World War 2 experience.- NZGamer

In the end Watch Dogs has plenty going for it, without quite living up to the hype. But, Aiden Pearce is a great character, and a very nice design, and the story has an engaging cyber-noir vibe going for it. Just keep your eyes down and your smartphone charged.- NZGamer

Quite a fun game, though it is a Japanese RPG so expect seemingly endless screens of dialogue that can (thankfully) be skipped through if you don't mind missing a few jokes. There is also a lot of explaining about exactly what all of the mechanics do from the Explanatory Shampuru.- NZGamer

My time with Starwhal: Just the Tip was a roller coaster of emotions. I didn’t enjoy the Challenge levels, but once the ghosts started appearing I found I liked them a bit more.- NZGamer

Even from that distance it's quite clear that Telltale games have produced an admirable replication which is commendably loyal to the original – but with enough new depth to make it worth a return to Llewdor.- NZGamer

It probably isn't the game you'll play hours on end, but you'll find yourself coming back to it over and over again.- NZGamer

If you want a story-driven, graphically intensive roleplaying game, this is not going to do it for you. But if you enjoyed the freedom of Sid Meier's Pirates!, Mount & Blade is probably right up your alley.- NZGamer

It’s not going to knock the socks off you, but Runic’s Torchlight may be just the title to slake your fantasy-grinding thirst, while we wait for Diablo 3 to make its way to our shores.- NZGamer

For the strategy gamers who love base-building rather than raiding and for the keen traders who want to settle down and establish a port and a merchant navy, I can imagine little better: Anno strikes a very interesting balance that you won't find elsewhere, and it should provide a lot of gameplay hours.- NZGamer

A simulation game fan looking for a hardcore micromanaging experience might want to look elsewhere, but for anyone else, Zoo Tycoon offers a whole lot of fun - with an important and oft neglected side dish of education and awareness raising.- NZGamer

Actually playing the game is a remarkably satisfying experience. No, it's not as in-depth or as polished experience as you'd expect from the console versions but it's still, in essence, a very good NFL game.- NZGamer

If you’ve got a next-gen console and you’re into racing simulators, it’s your only choice - and it’s far from a bad one. Just don’t expect it to be the “next step” or any kind of evolution of the genre.- NZGamer

Despite the new power of the PS4, the town is essentially (if you’ll excuse the pun) dead. NPCs stand or sit in the same place constantly, their faces devoid of emotion. The only one who actually looks alive is the man with seven glowing bullet holes in him.- NZGamer

I’m sure plenty of fans will find this to be the perfect complement to Trigger Happy Havoc, but in my opinion, that was a game that is at its best as a single, self-contained experience. No sequel needed.- NZGamer

Most of the game is absolutely brilliant, looking back at classic RPGs while also pushing the genre forward. But sadly, the final hours of the game, those that should be the most memorable and climactic, are tedious beyond words, and undermine everything great that came before. And this is something that’s hard to forgive.- NZGamer

It’s a game that not only takes practice, but also takes patience to play. While you bowl bouncers, hit sixes, and get to ask for the DRS if you've been given out - the game's biggest thrills are a tidy over of good line and length, and the crack of the ball coming out of the fat of the bat.- NZGamer

Blizzard have made a really good game with Overwatch, and succeeded in building a foundation from which they can build another mega-franchise. But it’s not perfect. Despite their inclusion of so many eSport friendly features and an incredible diverse cast of uniquely powered characters, a lack of modes, party options, and a context-creating campaign are sore points in my eyes.- NZGamer

A great game, but one held back by some disappointing, avoidable flaws. The multiplayer mode is well intentioned, but poorly implemented, and I should never have my right to pause during singleplayer stripped from me. Then there’s the story, if you can call it that; a juvenile, “f*** the police” mess that is a good reminder that not every game needs a narrative.- NZGamer

The many identical henchmen start to grate and the boring and awkward free roaming gets also gets annoying pretty quickly. But, you also get and enormous amount of style, strangeness and violence.- NZGamer

Some of the original game's grandeur and visual impact may have been lost in its transition to the small screen, but much of the original charm remains. The story is engaging and you're guaranteed many, many hours of playing time.- NZGamer
