Plants vs. Zombies is a fantastic handheld game, and well suited to the Nintendo DS. Unfortunately, superior versions of the game are available for much cheaper on almost every other platform, making the DS version a hard sell.

Monster Tale is a fantastic action game stinted by pedestrian exploration. Fortunately, consistently engaging combat and pet evolution systems temper the game's overreliance on backtracking, and its pleasant visuals and soundtrack suit the game well.

The lack of additional modes and endearing mini-games also aid in making Mario Sports Mix a fun try but not a lifetime investment.

There is nothing inherently challenging about the mechanics of Samurai Defenders, because it is ultimately the same tower defense game we have all played before.

Some hardware limitations and online issues keep it from being the ideal experience many fans crave, but the plethora of control methods along with the enjoyable gameplay and captivating story make it a game that people must try at least once.

If you found the previous game enjoyable, and want more, this game is up your alley, but be prepared for the challenge. If you haven't played DodoGo!, you'll find that the learning curve for this game is extremely steep. Play at your own risk.

There is no online play present.Jam City Rollergirls is a fun experience, if a bit rough around the edges. If you're interested in a racing game with a bit of combat and a team sports element, this might be for you.

DSiWare is hardly a service lacking in puzzle games. If you're looking for one that stretches your imagination a bit, and makes you think outside the box, you can do much worse than DodoGo. It's a colorful game with personality, which will certainly have you scratching your head as you play.

Tron Evolution is a serviceable licensed game that doesn't do anything bad, but it also doesn't do anything great. The short adventure will likely entertain fans of the franchise, but outside of that, it's not worth playing.

Kingdom Hearts: Re: Coded is an odd beast. On one hand, it tells a story that will be confusing to newcomers and too familiar to series experts, with some frustrating gameplay elements. On the other hand, the battle system remains as fun as always, the stat matrix is a fun way to develop your character, and the story does have its endearing moments.

Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes isn't a bad game. The problem is that there is so little depth in the gameplay that the experience can quickly grow old.

If you've never played a Worms game before, only own a Wii, and want a low barrier for entry, then I highly recommend this game. However, if you've ever played a Worms game before, or own any other video game system released sometime in the past decade, find a Worms game for that system, as it is probably way better than this neutered Wii version.

Whimsical Mario remixes fill the background as you work and play. New downloadable puzzles and challenges offer continuing content to extend the title, giving you something to come back to when the main game is eventually over.

Lost In Shadow overstays its welcome, which is disappointing. If the game had been less ambitious in scale and more ambitious in content, it would perhaps be one of the best games in recent memory. Instead, it falls just short of something truly great.

Monopoly Streets is a great game as it is, but considering that the core Monopoly experience is available on other platforms at a much better value, it is difficult to recommend this edition specifically.

Hot Pursuit on Wii doesn't even pretend to try to live up to the standards set by its HD siblings. Avoid this one at all costs. Go play Mario Kart or Excitebots instead.

The combination of the lackluster settings and tedious gameplay makes for a disappointing game. Straight up, Ghost Recon is just a pitiful rail shooter, and with the amount of other good rail shooters on Wii, there is no reason to even think about getting this game.

Its inventive and addicting gameplay was clearly built in such a way as to place maximum value on the DS touch screen. A compelling and engrossing story was constructed around these gameplay mechanics, and an attractive and unique visual style was created to display such a game.

Art Academy is great piece of software that is well worth your time and money, provided you don't have access to cheaper and basically identical DSiWare apps.. My only gripe about the game is that you cannot export your photos, which may be enough to turn some people off from enrolling.

Overall, Beyblade: Metal Fusion is a big disappointment for me. The extremely ridiculous storyline is just uninspired, and the battles get monotonous. Fans of the franchise may gain something out of it, but everyone else should stay away.

Control quibbles aside, Fluidity is a wonderful game. With its clever, Metroid-like level design and novel premise, it is one of the top WiiWare games in recent memory. If you can tolerate some persnickety controls, then you should hop on the Wii Shop Channel and buy Fluidity right now.
