Mediocre at best. There are a few positive aspects, like the voice acting and the missions. Unfortunately there are more things in the game (like anything else) that will drive you insane.

A very solid DSiWare title. The controls duplicate a dual analog setup surprisingly well, especially if you play it on a 3DS, and the gameplay, while sometimes lacking in variety, is fun the whole way through. This is one of the better action games on the service.

The biggest problem with this is the controls.

Though the game lacks depth, it is, however, a good introduction to the controller and a decent party game for kids. For those who already have their fair share of Wii Remotes, Wii Play: Motion isn't worth paying for.

If you're looking for a portable-optimized intense high-score game centered around killing zombie-like enemies, this fits the bill. The Mercenaries 3D is worthy of a full retail release, and hopefully we'll see more like it in the future.

The island looks beautiful and creepy at the same time, helping take you into the world of the game. The creepy sounds of a door creaking or crows overhead don't hurt, either. The only real downside to the game are the "find-it" sections, which are numerous and repetitive.

For what it's worth though, this is a handy little tool with more information than you could possibly ask, and the fact that it's free just sweetens the deal. If you don't yet have it and you're a Pokémon fan, get it. Now.

A disappointment. The focus on gyroscope controls limits the game's level design and makes it awkward and boring for players who use the Circle Pad. With the aid of the level creator, better levels can be made, but the controls are still bad.

If you've never played Ocarina of Time before, run out and buy this immediately. If you're intimately familiar with the game, there's nothing too new in this version to pull you in, though if you ever get the urge to play it again, Ocarina of Time 3D lets you experience all your wonderful memories with a brand new modern feel.

Even with nearly ten games in the LEGO series, the formula is still as captivating as it was from the first day.

A fun, if incredibly easy, single-player action game for the Nintendo 3DS which actually makes good use of the 3D. If you are looking for a fun diversion on your new handheld, it's a game that may very well fit the bill.

There is plenty to do in Nintendogs + Cats, but most gamers will get tired of the competitions pretty quickly.

While the game can be quite enjoyable with patience and perseverance, the story premise is overdone and ridiculous, and Lego fans would be better off to play with the actual toy bricks.

If you are kind of bothered by the dawdling pace of other turn-based strategy games, then you're better off skipping this title, as it is one of the slowest games of its kind.

A well-designed action platformer that will take quite a bit of time to get through its 10 levels. Varied play mechanics keep the shooter fresh and the humorous story should occasionally put a smile on your face.

Thor DS, from what I've heard, might be the best Thor game, but it's not much more than a slightly-better-than-mediocre brawler with great art. WayForward junkies and big Thor fans should be the only people that look into getting this game, though it should satiate those folks quite well.

I didn't really care for Splinter Cell 3D, but for once it's not really the game's fault-it's the developer's fault for trying to cram a control scheme onto a system not designed for it, and the fact that you can't really see what you're doing half the time. The exclusion of all multiplayer is disappointing too.

Unless you're starved for a 3DS platformer, you should avoid Rabbids Travel in Time 3D at all costs. It's a disappointing and dreary side-scroller. Don't let launch window goggles fool you into thinking this is a good game. It's not.

The camera still proves erratic, the stages are small by modern standards, and anyone who cares to play this game has played it many times before. Platformers have moved on since 1999. Rayman hasn't.
