It's cute, but only a decent filler game at best. I managed to beat it in less than a week, and I didn't even try that hard.

Does a great job of creating a game that simulates the experience of "Axis and Allies" the board game, just updated and enhanced with the power of a computer.

At its core, this is an old-school RPG. So if you are looking for a turn based RPG that you can play in the palm of your hand or if you are just feeling nostalgic for the days of yore, then you might want to check this game out.

The good include the graphics, the historical background for each map, tracer bullets in your ammo, and the detail put into the planes. The minus include a poor map, horrible objectives, long boring flying time and a general sense of pointlessness to the game.

Due to the game not having sufficient resources, the rosters ended up taking a big hit as none of the players appear to be on the right teams. If we do see a "MVP '08," I do hope that EA does place the passion and resources back into the franchise which plays a fairly great game of baseball.

This is a nice game for fans of the genre; however, if you are looking for a game to jump in and out of quickly this may not be the one for you. The problem is that you must spend much of your time micro-managing your units, telling them when to fire, when to charge and where to move.
