It's a pleasant game, but that's about it.

And so Speed Racer: The Videogame offers a solid, if unremarkable experience.

Super Princess Peach is a platform game taken straight off a Nintendo blueprint; it has the charm and simplicity reminiscent of the “good old days” and yet remains fresh thanks to solid, original gameplay.

It is a short game, clocking up around 10 hours, but that does not detract from the enjoyment, which at times is sad to say, repetitive.

TMNT: Smash Up does so much right in the ring that it’s a shame that it is sucker punched by a shallow character roster, lack of battle arenas and poor presentation.

Despite the lack of ambition, with a great fighting system that never gets boring, Naruto provides fast and furious fights, making it one of the best fighters available for the Wii, even if you’re not a Naruto fan.

Yet another brilliantly ironic Mario Sports title which once again proves that everyones favorite portly plumber can indeed kick it with style.

A summer game through and through; entertaining and enjoyable but it's longevity and difficulty could be improved.

While nowhere near perfect Rayman 3D is the best portable version of the game to date that's worth picking up if you've never played Rayman 2 before.

The most realistic tennis game on Wii, the title's depth will be challenging to some but a joy for others.

A fun mix of sports in an enjoyable package. Great for multiplayer sessions but could get boring by yourself.

Lacks the appeal of picking up and playing all the way through and sticks too close to the safety of the established third person shooter concept that has been in place for way too long now.

If you aren’t into logic puzzles and memory tests, and you’re a man of action rather than one of thought, this game is definitely not for you. But playing this – for however long you do end up playing it – is a pleasure, albeit a guilty one.

Despite its graphical shortcomings, camera trouble and repetitiveness, the lightsaber and Force controls were pretty much nailed, making SW:TFU a good action game and an experience that many gamers have been asking for since the unveiling of the Wii.

While the game in some ways attempts to return to series roots, it changes yet again to accommodate an unwieldy new set of controls. The flawed result is not perfect, but playable.

If you want to make Contact in strange new ways then this passionate game could be for you. Just don’t be hoping for something amazing to take you away from all your bases.

RPG fans - pry your eyes away from Xenoblade; Solatorobo may be the biggest surprise of the summer.

Fun and enjoyable and a good game to pick up and play if you like puzzles. Plenty to keep you busy and challenged.

In its series, The Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones fits in perfectly. It's up for you to decide if that's a good or a bad thing.

If you feel like kicking back with a literary classic, and a wide selection to choose from then pick this up pronto. If you chose to buy all these books separately, it would cost much more than the bargain price this game is going for in comparison.

An obscure yet engrossing multiplayer game that makes a nice change from Mario Party and Monopoly. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but for the strategic Mario fan, this makes for quite a fun evening.
