All in all, the game will probably take around 12-15 hours to complete. With no multiplayer to any significant bonus features, replay value is quite low.

Scratches was developed by a two-man team: one designer and one artist. We have to admit that’s pretty impressive.

At its core, the game is almost solid. Good graphics, fun combat sequences, and the slowly rewarding element of research and development have potential for a real winner. However, the game is just simply too long and repetitive for its own good.

For all the good that can be said about the game’s graphics, sound, and generally fun ride, the biggest pitfall is that this ride ends far too shortly, clocking in with a playtime of no more than 6 to 8 hours.

While Untamed may be the first step into the next generation territory for this franchise it feels like it showed up about a year too late to be acceptable.

Defendin DePenguin is definitely aimed at the younger crowd, and its audio-visual style may turn off older gamers and genre veterans.

Orochi Saga is in the same conundrum as all the other SNK games I’ve reviewed. Fun to play. Bad graphics. Low price. Lots of nostalgia value.

The game is rightfully priced at a cheaper $20 price point, with Pac-Man Vs being the obvious highlight of this compilation. If you need a classic gaming fix from time to time, then this game can satisfy that craving.

I couldn’t recommend this game to a lot of people though, as it is more of a movie then a game. It’s niche and like I said, I can’t blame anyone for passing it up on store shelves.

While the game does something new and is perfect for a quick game session on the way to work or on a break, it lacks the potential to be anything more.

It’s a rare occurrence for me to become totally engrossed by a videogame, but this one had me captivated from the get-go.

Easily the best game in the Evil Dead video game series (steer away from Hail to the King and Fistfull of Boomstick!). However, this isn't saying much. It has its fair share of flaws, including "lazy" graphics, repetitive gameplay, and a glitch-infested level design.

When Yuke's broke onto the faltering wrestling scene a few years back, they reinvigorated it with simple but elegant controls, solid animations, and added impact to the fights. They've done it again with Rumble Roses, though it seems to be more of a decent first effort [for a new franchise] than the game that will redefine the genre.

For the price, Unsolved Crimes isn’t bad.

Despite the graphical shortcomings, NeoGeo Battle Coliseum is still a good fighting game.

I really like how the different characters are voiced, and the individual casting is spot on.

It falters in more aspects than it flies, with horrible AI, and an in game system that makes the game feel like more of a chore than a fun experience.

The replay value isn’t very high for casual fans of the sport, and I suspect not even hardcore fans will spend copious amounts of time with the title.
