Sacred 2 is a near 1:1 port of the original pc release, with his flaws and his strong hack'n slash mechanic. Apart from a weak storyline and a limping frame rate the game is perfect for the players who want to spend a lot of hours looting corpses serching for the best armour and the biggest sword.

Patapon 2 maintains the mechanics and atmosphere of the first chapter, but it's further then its natural evolution. In comparison to the original title it has in fact brought on our PSP a series of options, additional formality, variety and complexity that decidedly bring it to a superior level in comparison to the simplest rhythm game with strategic elements that we knew.

No matter how many years have passed, Klonoa is still a great platformer, and here on Wii it boosts a nice visual upgrade: however, Bandai Namco did nothing to improve the length of the game, which can be easily completed in five hours or so.

Plants vs. Zombies is an action-strategy game from PopCap. The gameplay, based on the classic tower defense mechanics, is very easy to play but deep and addictive. It is the perfect game to play windowed during a boring meeting that will keep you tied to your pc for a long time.

Not as good as Fright of the Bumblebees, Last Resort is step back from the first game. The big problems of this second episode are a weak storyline, with poor jokes that don't make you laugh, and a few rooms and locations to explore.

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat becomes in this New Play Control! rendition a more conventional, but still frenzied and amusing, and somehow "new", 2D platformer: even those who played the original will be able to appreciate it.

If it wasn't for its few shortcomings, mainly the level design and the samey boss battles, Wolverine could have reached an even higher score. As it is, it's a well crafted game, that will surely please all time Logan's fans.

In this Wii version, X-Men - Origins: Wolverine comes with poor graphics and ugly sound (the voices, in particular). It's annoying to play, very repetitive and boring. Since the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are way better than this, on all fronts, it's a shame that Wii owners can't play a decent Wolverine game this time around.

Elite Forces is an old school action game with little ambitions, but direct and fun. It has some problems, though: controls are a bit inaccurate, there isn't multiplayer (offline or online) and, above all, it has poor AI.

Cryostasis is not a game for everyone. It's a game the player has to play from the start until the end to understand it. It's slow and fast at the same time, anachronistic and futuristic in many aspects of the gameplay. It's too linear but so fascinating in the plot. For sure it leaves something in the brain of the player. But usually it's a negative feeling.

Koei brings another classic hack'n slash from the Dynasty series, but gameplay is still boring and repetitive. The little Gundam wikipedia inside the game is a bonus, but a strong "deja vu" feeling is granted for everyone.

Zeno Clash is an atypical budget game, it's absolutely a good game with beautiful visuals and above all is very amusing to play. His close quarter combat system is so well devised that makes you scream I want more! after the game over screen.

Demigod is surely fresh and innovative, but it's not a perfect game. All it's good ideas are tied up in a lot of minor flaws that keep the game out of the excellence. We are talking about a tiny single player mode, a various gameplay not always well devised and matchmaking a little bit broken.

Manipulating time was never so challenging as in this masterpiece from Number None. Braid is a little gem carved in pure perfect gameplay, is so addictive that keeps you playing hour after hour. There aren't big flaws in this game, but Braid is a little bit short.

Immediate and very entertaining, Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic is the classic game to play with a bunch of friends on the sofa, with a well devised combat system that fits perfectly the Sixaxis controller. Unfortunately there's no online competitive mode and after a few hours is easy to feel the lack of more various attacks.

Riddick is back, and he is healthier than ever. Mainly for those who skipped last generation's console version!

The Godfather 2 is a great improvement in comparison to the first installment, but it has some flaws that keep the game from excellence. The Don's view works and it's well devised, unfortunately the game is too tedious hours after hours , the A.I. is a little bit broken and the visuals aren't top notch.

After the wonderful Opposing Fronts, CoH: Tales of Valor leaves the player with a bad taste in his mouth. The good multiplayer can't compensate for the short and weak single player aspect of the game so we can suggest it only to the true fans of the series.

Ninja Blade is a good game, fast and furious as its stepfather Ninja Gaiden. Besides a good use of the weapons and the environments, its impossible not to mention the extensive recur to the quick time events and a pretty simplistic combat system.

Rhythm Paradise is the game that all Nintendo DS owners were waiting for. It's simple, funny and highly addictive, with plenty of crazy characters that you'll love instantly. If you liked Wario Ware titles, you'll definitely appreciate this one.

Even with some nice ideas and the same crazy and funny atmosphere of the WarioWare series, Snapped feels nothing more than a tech demo that shows what DSi can and cannot do.

This game is totally broken, it's impossible to find something good. The new gameplay is bad and the game lacks of all the stuff that people like in the previous games. Sexy jokes aren't funny and the sex itself is not so cool and funny as it should be.

It's cool to drive on Barcellona's ramblas, chasing down enemy's vehicles, hijacking cars and destroying city's environment. This funny curious mix of GTA and Driver, starring Vin diesel, has a lot of different missions, pretty good visuals but sometimes is plagued by an awful artificial intelligence, especially in the on foot sessions.

Stormrise should have been a new start for the RTS genre on consoles, but it's not. The controls are too slow and unresponsive when you have to move several units on the map, the graphics aren't spectacular at all and the gameplay is cumbersome and frustrating. What a pity, since the story seems to be interesting.

WWE Legends of WrestleMania is the perfect wrestling game for the guys in their late twenties, because it's totally focused on the old school wrestlers like Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant and on fifteen editions of WrestleMania, from 1985 to 1999. The core of the gameplay, very arcade and casual, is based on grapples made by quick time events, and way too easy and simplistic to perform very long combos and attacks.

MotoGP 08 delivers a sub-par experience in every single aspect: graphics are shallow, controls are dull and unresponsive, and the gameplay is kinda boring. Still, it's one of the few "serious" racing games on Wii, but that's hardly gonna be a selling point.

When the original game is so good, can a Director’s Cut spoil the experience? We still don’t know, because Broken Sword is a very solid Director’s Cut of an awesome Graphic Adventure. Developers could have gone the extra mile to smooth some rough edges off, but even so the mission is completely accomplished.
