Beaterator is not a game but a real sound sequencer which allows us to create music using the hundreds of loops available or creating new ones with complete freedom. A must for all the music composers out there.

Extraction is not a simple Dead Space spin-off: it takes the core elements of the first game and successfully blends them into a brand new context, becoming a full fledged episode of the series. Not only it's a must buy for all the Dead Space fans out there, it's also one of the most mature and polished games available on Wii.

MySims Agents is the most traditional episode of the series, but also, probably, the best one. It's an interesting and amusing, albeit unoriginal, adventure which will delight younger players more than the older ones.

Motorstorm: Arctic Edge on PSP is just as we expected it: an arcade racer, very spectacular and durable, given the huge number of races and the presence of online multiplayer. The lack of next gen graphics is certainly hard to swallow for the series, but it was done everything possible to make a good job on PSP.

Though it's the remake of a game released over a year ago, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 confirms to be an excellent exponent of the action genre. If you already played the game on its Xbox 360 version, however, there's no reason to buy it once again.

Given the hardware limitations, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is quite a bit of a miracle. In spite of a few technical flaws and some repetitive quests this new installment in the franchise is a brilliant game, deep and well done, filled with charming backgrounds and characters. However, its major strength is also a weakness: the main plot will look meaningless to whoever isn't familiar with the series. But to fans of Kingdom Hearts this is an absolutely must-have.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Mobilized provides a sharp rise in the difficulty level, forcing the player to face the missions with caution and losing the hustle and involvement trademark of the series. The controls could have been more immediate, while the graphics are still fluid and compelling. The online multiplayer works well.

Tales of Monkey Ep. 3 - Lair of the Leviathan is the best, funnest episode since the beginning of the series. Despite a lack of challenge, there are so many ideas, hilarious characters and puzzle for a small price that's impossible not to suggest to buy it.

Order of War is a polished real strategy game with a well optimized engine and some fun missions but It has no innovations, trying to be good both for rts fans and newbies without satisfying any of them.

Katamari Forever looks like too much like its old gen previous titles, but it's always very fun to play. New character, new planets and new challenges make Katamari a long lasting game, but we have to say that the lack of a multiplayer mode is such a shame.

Halo ODST won't be able to win over the ones who never loved the saga. But for its price, it is really a great chapter even trying to innovate under some respects. It may not be perfect, but fans will love it indeed.

A "hardcore game" exclusively on Wii? Spyborgs is a old-style beat'em-up with something less than Final Fight or Captain Commando, since you can't collect weapons, there are no holds and no robots to control. The graphics are nice and there are some interesting extras to keep you play once you finish the main mode. Played with a friend, it's a lot of fun.

Even if it's developed by the same studio behind Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Smash Up can't even remotely compare with the amount of content of the former: it's not a bad game, but it lacks that kind of appeal that made the Smash Bros. series so popular. Without it, Smash Up is just an average brawler.

Fallen Earth has a great atmosphere and a very deep character skills and crafting system. The flip side of the coin is the poor visual and a not so good as It was supposed to be quests system.

Just like every good puzzle should be, You Me and the Cubes is based on a simple, yet brilliant concept. There are some flaws, especially regarding the controls and the repetitive gameplay, but it's however a pleasure to play in short sessions.

    Wet
WET isn't a bad action game after all. Ruby's acrobatics quite meet the frantic gameplay while the smart design of some locations allows players to give vent to their killing fancy. But WET is actually just a boring sequence of repetitive environments and situations. The game itself lasts just a few hours, no online mode is available and the content to unlock is plain and useless. We would like to talk about neat ideas but truth is that Ruby got WET just because she failed a jump and fell in the water.

The latest installment in the powerful Naruto franchise didn't leave us enthusiastic: the few game modes available, some problems with the combat system and a very simple and linear adventure make it a fan-only oriented game.

Bleach: The 3rd Phantom is a true surprise: it's a neat and enjoyable strategic RPG especially aimed at the fans of the series who will find all their favourite characters and villains in a single cartridge. Casual players will probably be annoyed by the lengthy cutscenes and slow battles, however it's rare to play such a well made niche-oriented game.

No longer a classic need for speed game, EA made a true shift, a u-turn, developing a great game, with stunning visuals, and a lot of cars and tracks. The nightly undercover challenges are gone, but the new mechanics, borrowed from games such Forza or GT work well in conveying a great driving feeling.

The PSP version of Need for Speed SHIFT remains anchored in the classic style of the series. The driving model is arcade, with very few concessions to realism. The number of cars is not very high, but the prizes system works good as usual: you can unlock upgrades and extras if you keep driving the same car.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 improves over the formula, but just a little bit from its predecessor. It's a good game for Marvel fans and players willing to play it with friends online or side by side on a sofa. As a single player experience, its gameplay may be a bit too samey in the long run.

Bowser's Inside Story is an awesome addition to a lovely franchise which never disappointed. It is fresh and full of neat ideas and situations and Bowser is finally the main character again after 13 years, last time being Legend of Seven Stars on SNES. The perfect gameplay balance further improves a jewel of game design to the point that the average length of the adventure, about 20 hours without playing through additional contents, is the only letdown in this excellent installment of the Mario & Luigi series. Must buy, period.
