3D Dot Game Heroes was clearly inspired by the old Zelda games. It takes the charm of the old school games, while at the same time updating the style and adding a plethora of new elements to keep gameplay fresh, all without losing the classic feel.

The Oregon Trail: American Settler is fun at first; but the more you go on, the more it gets boring and repetitive.

Return to Karkand it's worth every cent spent on it. Not just 4 maps, but also vehicles, weapons and and a new game mode. Definitevely fresh air for Battlefield 3.

Kirby's Adventure Wii is already way too easy when played alone and challenge becomes virtually non-existant when someone else joins Kirby in his quest. Probably designed as a family game for kids, this new platform fails to deliver anything special or worth of notice other than enjoyable but overall lacking visuals.

Rusty Hearts is a funny game with a great gothic atmosphere. If you like online roleplaying games with a bit of additional hack and slash action, then it's what you may have looked for. It is definitely a good game, not only between the freemium ones.

Act of Fury: Kraine's Revenge is a pleasant alternative to the classic top-down shoot 'em ups, with great 2D graphics and a steep difficulty curve.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior is a game suitable only for fans of the genre. It's a perfect product for people who love calm and strategic shooter, but it is tedious and frustrating for those who do not love him.

Nice tower defense game with lot of action. Multiplayer is brilliant, however single can be a little harsh. Graphics are slightly blurry.

LEGO Harry Potter: Anni 5-7 is an especially well crafted game which brilliantly depicts the world of Harry Potter and without any doubt the best entry in the renowned TT Games' franchise, with the usual gameplay enriched by the best features added to the last few games.

Even on Wii, WWE '12 is incredibly rich in content, with two substantial game modes that will keep all the WWE fans of there entertained for weeks. However, the gameplay feels the same as ever and the graphics are very outdated.

Mario Kart 7 is good enough to continue the success of the series and it's original enough to be played with satisfaction from who has played the previous chapters.

Junk Jack's clearly lack of direction can be a great flaw for some kind of players, but Pixbits' debut game is probably the best crafting game on iOS. Way better than Minecraft: Pocket Edition.

Although not benefitting much from the added 3D effect, Tales of the Abyss has aged incredibly well as it's still one of the best entries in the series and an overall excellent jRPG. This 3DS porting is basically an improved PlayStation 2 version with shorter loading times, crispy and colorful visuals and an amazing amount of content. Sadly, nothing has been added to encourage owners of the original version into buying it again.

Poetry for the eyes, that's what Trine 2 is. Sure, the gameplay hasn't evolved much and the main campaign is a bit too short, but this game is still among the most brilliant indie titles out there, definitely the best when it comes to pure beauty. Get it. Love it. Good job Frozenbyte.

Superman is a decent action game, designed around the abilities of the popular DC superhero. You can fly, shoot a laser beam through your eyes, lift a car and throw it to the space and everything else Superman can do, but you also have to deal with some unresponsive controls.

Infinity Blade II is easily the new benchmark for iOS gaming; a visual masterpiece, and a huge step forward content wise compared to the first chapter. The gameplay is still the same, so don't bother if you didn't like it last year.

Shinobi is totally old school: it can be freakingly hard, relies on a complex rating system and is a pure 2D Action fest! It's by no means perfect, but fans of the Golden Age of videogames will love it; it's a no-compromises games, requires a no-compromises dedition, gives a no-compromises satisfaction.

James Noir's Hollywood Crimes is a surprisingly well-crafted game which will appeal fans of the Professor Layton franchise and puzzle games alike. It's not revolutionary and rather bland in some aspects but the sheer amount of puzzles and the intriguing story will keep players hooked for a few hours, untile they find that unsolvable puzzle which will stop them forever.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact is far too easy and repetitive, and it's got some very poor AI. The cel shaded characters are very nice to see, however, and there are plenty of missions to complete for the die-hard fans of the anime.

Need for Speed: The Run is a classic arcade racer, with some nice graphics and a decent gameplay. The single player campaign can be beaten in only a couple of hours and there's no online multiplayer, so the whole experience could be very short and insubstantial.
