New visuals and an average 3D effect are the only differences between this game and other, cheaper versions: anyway, if you own a 3DS, never played Cave Story and fancy a hard challenge, this game is for you.

Flatout 3 is a total failure. There no career mode and the races are chaotic and unplayable. Don't play it.

Despite renewed graphics and controls, Dungeon Hunter III fails to implement a new microtransaction-based formula and turn out to be way less enjoyable than previous chapters.

Real Football 2012 unfortunately suffers from the same problems that characterized last year's edition: poor AI, no official licenses and unresponsive controls.

Actually Bug Princess is the best danmaku shooter developed by Cave for iOS devices, with great style, intense shoot 'em up action and Universal support between iPhone and iPad. What's next? Ketsui and Ibara, we hope.

Kinectimals on iOS does exactly what you would expect: it's a portable version of the original game which allows you to pet your puppy anytime, and for an audience of kids it's definitely a good deal for a low price.

In many ways, Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet turns out to be a rather nice game. It's got a great number of super heroes, a decent combat system and some very nice graphics and voices. What a pity the enemies respawn constantly and the whole experience becomes boring and repetitive very soon.

Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights is a surprisingly well crafted clone of the Professor Layton series which tries to offer something new to the fans of the genre. However, it lacks the depth and freshness of Layton's puzzles and its three-layered structure gets repetitive too fast.

It's winter time and it means cold-based sports game, better enjoyed with move sensors like Kinect, Move or Wiimote! Long time veterans like 49Games could be ready for their bigger and better game, if so many flaws weren't in.

Batman: Arkham City Lockdown feels like a missed opportunity: it's merely an Infinity Blade clone, stripped down of many of the elements which made that game such a huge success.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies is no doubt a good port as it comes with some very nice graphics and a solid gameplay. The game suffers from several problems, though: cumbersome controls, lack of maps, online issues. Better wait for the next updates.

Packed with some excellent shooter dynamics, perhaps a little less elegant in the platformer ones, Cave Story is awesomely directed, both in terms of story and gameplay. However, this "plus" edition is disappointing, since it comes with the same lo-res graphics of the WiiWare version and some minor changes.

With such a low production-value, it's hard to think to Super Pokémon Rumble as the first 3DS entry of the popular franchise. It lacks depth and its poor visuals reminds too much of its prequel released on WiiWare in 2009. Being a full-price 3DS cartridge, we cannot reccomend it to even the most hardcore Pokémon fan.

Saving Yello is definitely an Angry Birds clone, but it also puts in some new elements, like power-ups and items you need to collect to get the three stars and unlock new locations.

Six-Guns is not a true clone of Red Dead Redemption, as you might expect. It's indeed a fast-paced third person shooter, with lots of missions to complete, some very nice graphics and a large world to explore.

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy could've been so much more, but in the end it's just a generic chapter of the series which lacks challenge and ends pretty quickly.

A good idea poorly executed, that's what WWE All Stars is all about. The game's structure is good, but the gameplay suffers from so many flaws you simply can't ignore.

This is a very particular product: a puzzle with a new approach, an original way to create a game. At first it could be not that addictive, but when you understand the gameplay's mechanic, it will catch your attention for a long time.

Pullblox is Nintendo's eShop Killer Application: a simple, addictive, fresh concept which greatly demonstrates what 3D can do for your gameplay pleasure. Add to this more than 200 state-of-the-art levels and an intuitive editor and you have a game which is virtually perfect, for a ridiculous price.

3D Dot Game Heroes was clearly inspired by the old Zelda games. It takes the charm of the old school games, while at the same time updating the style and adding a plethora of new elements to keep gameplay fresh, all without losing the classic feel.

Kirby's Adventure Wii is already way too easy when played alone and challenge becomes virtually non-existant when someone else joins Kirby in his quest. Probably designed as a family game for kids, this new platform fails to deliver anything special or worth of notice other than enjoyable but overall lacking visuals.
