With its charming atmosphere and its great storytelling, there is no doubt that Gemini Rue is one of the most elegant point-and-click adventures of the year, probably the flagship in the Wadjeteye Games' portfolio and one of the best games made with Adventure Game Studio.

Ignite delivers a fun gameplay, a good number of tracks and nice graphics, all for a bargain price. The game lacks of personality, though, since there are only a few differences between each car.

Old school 2d action platform with gorgeous graphics and some nice ideas. However, nasty level design and clunky controls make an overall frustrating experience.

It's the closest thing to Trials HD you can get on iOS, but its difficulty gets overly frustrating at times.

Tetris on 3DS comes with a plethora of options, modes and minigames, both in single and in multiplayer. While not every mode is perfect and the game remains below Tetris DS in terms of quality, this is still a must for every Tetris fan.

Cities XL 2012 is just more of the same: if you enjoyed playing the previous game you will probably consider buying the new add-on at a discounted price. But if you never fell in love with this game you won't do so now.

Goldeneye 007 Reloaded is an interesting hybrid between FPS and stealth that doesn't rely only on nostalgia to be enjoyed. On HD console, it struggles to shows off against the big names in the action genre but its particular blend of genres manages to be considered an interesting alternative.

There are no vehicle assaults or perks in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary but the original gameplay, brought again to life by a shiny new engine, is still so enjoyable that it seems a modern title.

Revelations does whatever it promises: it puts an end to the trilogy who made Assassin's Creed so successful on the market. Several new additions for the gameplay and wonderfully-crafted secondary missions add the right amount of contents to this sequel.

Rayman Origins is a declaration of true love to classic side-scrolling platformering, and a must-have for anyone who still feels something for this genre and has a couple of friends to share this exciting experience with.

Without a doubt, the best possible version of Team Bondi's last effort, since it includes all the downloadable content released to date. The graphics didn't improve that much, however, and you may experience some annoying problems in running the game on certain configurations.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 comes unchanged from last year, with the same game modes and the same gameplay. If you already own the previous edition, then don't even bother; otherwise, this is still the best soccer you can play on PSP.

Mage Gauntlet is a really fun game to play and its graphics is simply gorgeous, but unfortunately the overall experience feels too much linear and repetitive.

Assassin's Creed Rearmed comes with a fast matchmaking system and lots of things to unlock, most of which you have to pay for. The controls don't work good as they should, however, making the whole experience very cumbersome and annoying.

We do not want to sanctify the work of Griptonite Games (in recent times, they were able to pull off stuff like Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters, one of the ugliest games ever for Wii), but there's a huge quality gap from last year's Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Spider-Man: Edge of Time. That's a great disappointment, even for the fans of the character.

For a young studio it's definitely hard to compete with AAA titles, especially in November. You need to optimize resources, focusing on concrete ideas, and that's what The Haunted: Hells Reach tries to do. It's not a masterpiece in the third person shooter genre, but if you like co-op modes and have 10 bucks to spend on Steam, give it a try.

Riptide GP is indeed an excellent arcade racer. The game comes with three modes, twelve tracks, six vehicles and three different difficulty levels, so it'll keep you entertained for a long time. What a pity there's no multiplayer.

Take On Helicopters is packed with lots of modes and missions that will entertain all the helicopter sims fans out there. You need to spend some hours learning how it works, so don't expect an arcade experience at all, even at the lowest difficulty level.

Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 might look like a soulless clone of the Pokémon franchise but it actually develops its own identity very fast. Although it's missing all the fun and charming features which make the Pokémon worlds such enjoyable in the first place, the addictive and depth monster-making system makes up for the lackluster plot and characters.

A repetitive yet addictive hack'n'slash game which offers an engaging loot system and a good co-op mode. Fanservice is brilliant and fans of Tolkien's works will have a good time reading through tons of dialogues and meeting a few beloved characters. You will not keep playing it for long but it will be fun until it lasts.

Arcania: Fall of Setarrif is unable to bring anything new in the Arcania universe. Same combat, same objects, smaller locations and lesser graphics make this experience a flat promenade toward an (again) unsatisfying final.
