Despite being an updated port of the episode on Wii, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate delivers a fresh and unique experience thanks to a smart use of the gamepad, new content and cross-usability between Wii U and 3DS. Not a game changer but the best way for a launch window title to forget some out-of-date visuals.

Sonic Dash is a decent endless run, with some good graphics and accurate controls, but it doesn't add anything new to the genre.

Imangi Studios and Disney renew their collaboration for Temple Run: Oz, but the game is basically the same we already know and played thousands of times.

Brutal Legend is the same game somebody loved and somebody didn't on consoles almost two years ago with very few additions.

Nano Assault EX is a showcase of the hardware of the 3DS, of the 3D effect, and of the talent of Shin'en. But it's also a great shoot'em up, with many diverse sections, adrenalinic and strategic, in which the difficulty ramps up very nicely.

March of the Eagles is an entry point into the grand strategy genre. Its focus on the war and the presence of an ending makes it a game different than classic Paradox titles, but it is good especially when played online with friends.

It might not be the best looking game around, but Penumbear offers 100 levels filled with clever puzzles and tight platforming action, all covered with a tough difficulty level.

Albeit short and sometimes frustrating, HarmoKnight is a gorgeous and enjoyable eShop title which deserved a cartridge on its own.

Candy Crush Saga is a fun, simple puzzle game, with lots of different missions but a few too many IAPs.

Many are the new features of Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 but not one of them can really move the gameplay forward. At the same time the game is an absolute buy for every Naruto fan out there.

The price is low and the game is good, but The Showdown Effect needs more maps and some balance.

Crystal Dynamics has done an excellent job in giving us a brand new Tomb Raider, and the PC version is the best one you can get.

Splash or Crash is a little, quirky, addictive game. While it can be beaten in half an hour, the real fun begins only when you try to master every well with every "stone". Problem is, not everyone will take this step after beating the game with the unbreakable rubber ball.

Year Walk is one of the most original and innovative games on the App Store. It's got a tremendous atmosphere and a strong direction, but it's also quite obscure in its puzzle mechanics.

Sniper Elite: Nazi Xombie Army could be a fun challenge for everyone who played Sniper Elite V2, but only in co-op mode. In fact, the action becomes very repetitive very fast in single player mode.

Original and filled with black humour, Plague Inc. is a coherent and engaging strategy game, which compensates an essential presentation with a great amount of content for its small price.

The problem with Mirror of fate is not related to the discontinuity with Igarashi's Castlevania, which is not a bad thing. But average level design, underdeveloped combat system and a general lack of refinement makes this game an acceptable but surely not unforgettable entry on the series.

Ok, you can say that God of War: Ascension is less epic than the previous chapters and it lacks somewhere in terms of narrative and news ideas, but if you dig further you can find a much improved gameplay, a compelling adventure and some of the most incredible boss fights you can ever face in a videogame.

Real Racing 3 is a game that clearly shows Firemonkey's quality, with a production value that could be easily associated with console games. Unfortunately, choosing to go free to play ultimately generated some serious balancing issues and frustrations, reducing the overall value of the final product.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus is a disappointing port of a great game, since it suffers from frequent frame rate issues and a lowered difficulty level that vilifies the whole experience.

Finding Teddy is a strange and wonderful trip inside a musical, poetic yet cruel, fable. As an adventure, it lacks some length and logic in its puzzles but as an overall experience, it's really worth it to spend a few hour between its strange locations and creatures.

Despite the interesting and open level design, Tomb Raider is more akin to the average action adventure than you would think. An overall linear experience, with plenty of cinematic sequences and over the top roller-coaster rides that falls somehow short of expectations when it comes to the survival matter.
