Unravel is a remarkable achievement on the artistic side, with some evocative nordic landscapes and an effective protagonist. But the dualism between his platform and puzzle mechanics are not totally convincing, and the level design is a bit flat.

The console version of The Banner Saga is exactly the same as the one arrived on PC two years ago. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will be surely glad to have the chance to play this game.

Even though it’s set on the surface of a planet, Homeworld: Desert of Kharak brings you all the fun, the strategy and the sense of dimensions of the Homeworld saga. One of the best strategy games of the year, flawled only by minor bugs.

If you’re a fan of this saga, this is the best collection of Resident Evil available on the market.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel is a traditional JRPG, in the best meaning of the word "traditional". It is complex, deep and varied, and sports surprisingly realistic and mature storyline and setting. Although a little slow, if you can adapt to its flowing you'll love this game and its unforgettable cast of characters.

This could be a real innovation in the runner games but in the end is just another title in the genre with marvelous visuals and audio.

Sora is another great shooter made by Orange Juice, held back by some technical deficiencies.

The game created by Daniel Mullins is one of the most alienating experiences ever made. Dark tones, black humour and meta-references are supported by interesting hacking puzzles that needs inductive reasoning. Really surprising.
