Shadow Blade: Reload is a simple porting of a PC game which just costs too much for what it’s worth.

It is undoubtedly a game better suited for mobile devices, but Hitman GO: Definitive Edition is an original and well crafted experience nonetheless.

Pixel Piracy is a side-scrolling 2D simulator with RPG elements, where the player can recruit a crew, customize the ship and use aggression to find treasures. Even though the game is too linear, with poor combat system and unvaried exploration.

The Town of Light is an intense and dramatic experience. Try it if you want to better understand the human mind and how the asylums work.

Solid, engaging and technically delicious, Far Cry Primal is a spin off that amuses the player even without firearms and vehicles, although the playful infrastructure is too conservative.

Bravely Second is basically Bravely Default 2.0: it's almost the same game with a new plot and a few more dungeons, characters and classes. That's not necessarily a bad thing, not when Bravely Default was so good and Bravely Second is all around better than that. All said and done, there wasn't much bravery this time around.

Megadimension Neptunia VII is the best entry of the series, with a better and darker story. The gameplay introduces a lot of new features, but you can't use them for a large part of the main quest. Graphically, playing the game on PlayStation 4 feels more like an enhanced port of a PlayStation Vita game than a whole new experience.

ABC Murders is a traditional point and click adventure, set in the same narrative context of Agatha Christie’s novel. The plot is faithful to the original story, while the game is linear and pleasing especially for fans of the genre.

Firewatch is not perfect, but it's a really deep and mature story which can take you deep inside your mind. It's writing is fantastic and the environment is jaw-dropping, but maybe it's too short and limited for its price.

Crashland is a fun ride in a strange world full of monster, bizarre people and things you can destroy to obtain better things. It's Don't Starve with lot more fun and less fear of dying of starvation. An action GDR with a love for crafting.

For competitive players Street Fighter V is just spotless. The fighting is solid and the new mechanics are superb, but you don't have to be a veteran to enjoy playing it. On the single-player side, the game still feels inadequate to guide the newcomers to the online arena, but with several DLC already planned, this lacking element should just be temporary.

This horror experience infuses deep feelings of fear, both through great sound and images. However there should have been bigger interactions and extended puzzle solutions.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth is a nice RPG based on the popular anime/manga Japanese franchise. The gameplay is solid and enjoyable even if is quite traditional, there are lots of mission and 250 Digimon, but still feels like a Vita game running on the PS4.

The original was already great, an absolute gem in its genre: this remake does what any remake should do if it wants to make sense. It poses a clear goal, in this case to come out of the niche that the saga occupied, and pursues it in an excellent manner, opening to legions of novices yet retaining totally, for those who wish, the full absence of compromises that is a sort of manifesto. Some graphic shortcoming can not prevent Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight to be yet another RPG masterpiece in the lineup of a console that is a boon for fans.
