The nostalgia operation is definitely successful with this Capcom Fighting Collection. Thanks to a granite netcode rollback, a very functional practical mode, a range of titles between more and less known and a stable frame rate, we are in front of an excellent product.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is a limited but refined multiplayer experience. The mix of simulation and arcade elements creates a fresh and compelling experience for those who live to conquer medieval battlefields.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus on Nintendo Switch is the same, great narrative shooter we appreciated last October.

We waited four months for this second episode, but the result is a compelling and excellently crafted adventure, which is also a better game than the first chapter. Sadly, you will see the credits roll after just an hour or so.

World of Final Fantasy may look like Pokémon but it's much more Final Fantasy at its core. It's colorful and more intriguing than it initially appears and runs really well on Switch.

FIFA 20 doesn't make any revolution and maintains the philosophy adopted by the series in recent years, smoothing out some mechanics of its predecessor which were abused last year. Volta is an interesting alternative to traditional gameplay.

Overlord 2 is a giant leap from the first episode thanks to the huge work made by Triumph to fix all the flaws. Various and well devised, Overlord 2 is a guilty pleasure for all the guys who like to be over cynical in a game, and it's impossible not to mention its stunning visuals.

Defender Chronicles II: Heroes of Athelia offers something more than the first episode, though it's got the same, solid gameplay. The animations are still choppy, but the overall experience is really enjoyable.

This is a smart app that tries to emulate, unsuccessfully, the appeal of the Pokemon games.

Band Hero feels more like a data disk rather than a brand new franchise: however, its focus on multiplayer, pop tracklist and interesting connectivity options with the DS make it a perfect-suited rhythm game for the Wii audience.

Orc: Vengeance could really be considered a (very) reduced but optimized version of Diablo. Graphics are impressive and gameplay is addictive; of course there is an abyss from Diablo but the "dark" side of Chillingo started with a good product

The Darkness II is a frantic shooter with a great freedom to decide how to kill your enemy using the Darkness' powers, your weapons or the tentacles. The real problems are in the lack of a deep plot as the first Darkness and in the shortness of the single player campaign.

Fun and clever in the first hours, Scram Kitty does not fall in the long term, but its shooter approach soon becomes more a burden to level design than a true quality gameplay symbol.

Fast, fun and cheap. For less than 10 bucks and despite a not so charming visual style, Altitude is a very good multiplayer shoot'em up.

Catalyst Black is a brilliant mix between some typical aspects of MOBAs and competitive twin stick shooter mechanics, characterized by (almost) perfect touch controls and a very interesting progression system, which gradually unlocks weapons, objects, resources and content, allowing us to slowly access all the modes the game has to offer.

Shattered Memories is actually a reinterpretation of the very first Silent Hill game. We still don't know if this is a new beginning for the series or an isolated experiment, however Climax did a great job putting together an unique atmosphere, a lot of interesting solutions and a smart use of the motion-sensitive controls. One of the best and most adult experiences on Wii so far.

Mighty Switch Force is an excellent download: it is intelligent and addictive, and it features some of the most engaging puzzles ever seen. Unfortunately, it is a little too brief for our tastes, but with its small price it'd be a shame not to play it nonetheless.
