Mother Russia Bleeds is the dream of a nostalgic gamer. The visuals are awesome, the violence is there to please you and some mechanics are nice. But some flaws in the controls and some frustrating sections hold it back.

Democracy 3 is a pure management game that needs almost no graphic to entertain the player. But under the tons of statistics the gameplay is too simple and the Steam Workshop integration is the only real improvement over previous chapters.

This is, probably, the worse chapter of the series. It has several good ideas but the gameplay is still too basic.

It has several negatives but without any doubt this collection is a good way to play again (or for the first time) the best titles of this brand. After ten years both the games are still in good shape!

Remember Me is a product where the effort made in creating a fascinating and credible world has taken away all the rest. Audio and graphics are stunning, unfortunately the game is not.

Even if the game boasts a 4 in its title, SEGA and Dimps have chosen the easiest path taking the levels from the original Sonic The Hedgehog and adding almost nothing to its formula. Moreover, Sonic 4 suffers from a surprising lack of style and personality, a dull soundtrack and some technical issues, while the frame rate slows down even on an iPhone 4. Hopefully, the lack of Retina Display support, achievements and leaderboards will be fixed with the next update of the game.

Managing a graveyard is only a part of the keeper's complex role in this game. It has many rough edges and some flaws in its pace and technical aspects, but it is also one of the most original and unique take on the simulation/management genre.

Bigger in scope and better executed than Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls doesn't manage to tell a great story all the time like its predecessor, although it's an experience you'll want to try.

Sniper Elite: Resistance reiterates the formula of the series without introducing concrete new features and presenting itself basically as a “more of the same” that also renounces developing the narrative elements of a historical scenario that would certainly have deserved some attempt at deepening.

WWE Legends of WrestleMania is the perfect wrestling game for the guys in their late twenties, because it's totally focused on the old school wrestlers like Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant and on fifteen editions of WrestleMania, from 1985 to 1999. The core of the gameplay, very arcade and casual, is based on grapples made by quick time events, and way too easy and simplistic to perform very long combos and attacks.

Good controls and visuals are the bright sides for Pearl Harbor Trilogy: 1941 - Red Sun Rising. Given the fact of the small price and the lack of competitors on Wii, this game can be interesting for lovers of the aerial combat shooters, but its flaws in terms of gameplay and level design can be very restraining also for the most firm virtual pilot.

At least, this trilogy confirms a good trend: preserving old works, even iconic ones in their own small way, without distorting them. Good for the preservation, a little worse for the taste: in the end, it seems almost like putting some soup in the freezer in 1995 and taking it out in 2025. Gex is one of those mascots buried by history and it's only right that he enjoys his quarter of an hour of fame again, but it wouldn't have hurt to have done some work on cleaning up the original code, at least in the second and third episodes, the three-dimensional ones, which today are quite out of time and out of context to be fully enjoyed. In any case, let's applaud the attempt to provide new bread for the nostalgics of that golden era called the 90s.

Rue Valley is an investigative adventure about a man trying to escape a time loop. To do so, he must open himself up to the world, talk to the people living in that remote desert town, and learn about the history of the families and events that have shaped it. It’s clear that the main point of reference is Disco Elysium, and while Rue Valley doesn’t reach the same level of interpretive refinement or mechanical complexity, it still offers an interesting, fresh, and entertaining approach. Like all loop-based narratives, it can sometimes become frustrating - especially when transitions and events start to repeat without any apparent progress -but the “mind map” system is very detailed and holds all the answers within it.

Even if it’s not nearly as bad as most of the recent Tenchu games, Stealth Assassins sadly fails in delivering a concrete upgrade to the series: developer Acquire wanted a game that both hardcore and casual gamers could get into, but the risk is that nobody will really like it.

Squanch Games couldn't have made a better comeback with High on Life 2, the second installment of what has now become a full-fledged franchise, successfully getting back on track even without its creator. The narrative has seen the most significant leap in quality, featuring truly hilarious moments and genuinely unexpected twists, not to mention the numerous parodies of other games, movies, and anime that were so funny they forced us to pause the game. The gameplay refines everything seen in its predecessor; while there are no major overhauls, it expands our hunter’s toolkit with new sentient weapons and a handy skateboard that speeds up exploration, even if it isn't quite as effective in combat. On a technical level, there are still some minor issues that we hope will be patched soon, but there is no doubt that this is a shooter that—despite its flaws—knows its stuff and, above all, knows how to keep you laughing at every turn.

Mario Golf: Super Rush is a compact and funny golf game, with appreciable physics and graphics. Speed Golf is really cool, but we doubt that it will be as loved as the normal mode.
