If you're looking for a solid action game with an Italian flavour then Mafia II is worth the investment it's just a shame 2K Games opted to ignore all the things gamers love about open world activities hence their absence here.

This is a story driven game with the emphasis on gun play rather than mindless wandering around. Red Dead certainly delivers this at every turn and is well worth a look if shooting is your thing.

A solid title and one that is perhaps better to play with mates or over Xbox Live if you are connected to the service.

Galaga Legions offers an addicting style of play as well as provides a substantial challenge for any high score junkie.

The Forgotten Sands more than captures the old, classic Sands of Time magic, so hats off to Ubisoft for a job well done.

There are huge problems with the consistency of the mission difficulty, the sound that is awful, the flawed story; but after all that Scrapland has just enough going for it to make it enjoyable to play through, although the experience might be slightly frustrating.

It's a highly recommended piece of software and one that does a great job of showcasing Kinect's ability to go beyond the game.

The action in Army of Two: The 40th Day, whilst it can drag its heels somewhat to begin with, it soon picks up, and to avoid repetition on multiple playthroughs there's always different weapons and attachments to experiment with to give different results.

With its destructive, albeit a little unforgiving racing that is fast and of course very furious; players should have a fun time with the game, especially as the focus isn't on the usual high performance racing cars that don't take much damage from impacts.

Just Cause simply has too little substance to propel it to great status and I think most gamers will find the flaws adding up to make a tiring gaming experience rather than the fun one it should be. That’s not to say the game isn’t fun, because it is, just not all the time.

The game isn't a straight up shooter, which is a good thing, and if you've got the patience to test the stealth mechanics properly, you'll find some rewarding moments.

Medal of Honor: Airborne is great fun while it lasts, however the single player mode is short and it’s doubtful the multiplayer mode will keep the majority of gamers hooked for a long time.

Lego Pirates of the Caribbean is another excellent spin on a fantastic movie world, that does justice to both its source material and the standard of Lego games preceding it. With great visuals and scenery bringing such life to a rich, crazy world of ships, pirates, damsels in distress and turbulent seafaring life, it's hard not to fall in love once more with the cute charm, unique character and addictive gameplay that Lego Pirates has in strides.

The game plays extremely smoothly with slightly 'iffy' storylines.

Overall, I think the balance between action and strategy is spot on for the casual as well as hardcore gamers out there and is well worth renting it out. The single player campaign is too short but on LIVE it will be different every time you play, making the game last for quite some time.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is fun to play and has some commendable features, however it feels like it's not quite hit the mark when compared to the first game.

The thing is, these niggles and annoyances really add up throughout the game, making the last few levels a chore to play through.

A fantastic start for FIFA 07, but will need some tweaking and perfecting in FIFA 08 to really bring over the doubters.

If you like aerial shooters, then you'll probably rush out and buy HAWX regardless of what anyone else says, and to be fair you'll certainly get your monies worth if you delve into all modes on offer.

A linear yet fun experience and whilst it will not win awards for being complex in any way, and this includes the simple story; it does get the job done in an old school way.

The addition of the new card collecting system is fresh and inspirational; however it is also frustrating with a steep learning curve that really needs a better introduction to persuade the FIFA elite to get involved.

Yes the action is thick and fast and very cinematic yet the lack of subtlety and arcade elements really stop this game from being a true MOH game in my opinion.

Race Pro isn't likely to be a game that finds its place among the favourable pile of recent Xbox 360 racers, the fact that it's a simulation racer however will likely have it appealing to the more enthusiast of realistic racing fans.
