Pac-Man Museum + is a Game Pass title that comprises 14 classic Pac-Man games. The developers have tried to bring this much-loved franchise back to life. However, they have only succeeded in creating a padded-out and tired experience.

Make no mistake, the core game here is a good one, it is a clearly well-refined game that delivers on hours of content. In theory, this is an enjoyable game but this PS5 version falls at the first hurdle, which hundreds of games over the past year haven’t, it just isn’t forgivable.

Most of the time, your mind is so onto every other racer, but racing to win isn’t the only goal. As it’s entering the mouth of the animal to win the game. I honestly would say this isn’t at all a bad game. It’s a racing game, unlike any other with great music. So if you want to play a new space-themed racing game, that is not like any other then this is one you should try!

Hillbilly Doomsday is an excellent retro platform title. With vivid pixelated graphics and a zany audio, it is the complete old-school experience.

With its tremendous take on the turn-based gameplay formula and creative vehicle/weapon customization, Reborn has one of the simplest and most addictive gameplay loops I’ve ever experienced, even out-performing its larger JRPG cousins in that regard. Sadly, as the cancellation of Reborn’s sequel came on the same day as its own release, it rings even more true now that Reborn is a giant killer from start to finish, going out perhaps not as intended, but in a blaze of glory.

Deep Diving Adventures is a wonderfully relaxing and interesting diving simulator. Undertake many quests, upgrade your equipment, and avoid every predator. The inclusion of the DLC adds longevity and makes this great value for money.

The biggest mistake SOOT makes seems to be level design. While it had a nice concept and solid core mechanics, they failed to execute their ideas properly through their levels. But once again I should say that I only played the first chapter, therefore if the game and levels changed significantly during chapter 2 and 3, I wouldn’t know.

Spacewing War is a simple retro shmup. Its basic approach and easy gameplay will leave you wanting. Fortunately, though, the additional modes add depth and challenge to increase longevity and replay value.

Super Perils of Baking is a wonderful 2D platform-adventure title. Its old-school mechanics and familiar elements will fill you with nostalgia. However, its polished aesthetics and excellent level designs are great for a modern audience. Furthermore, it is tough, full of secrets, and oozes replay value.

If you are looking for a game that will have you engaged for hours through combat, keeping your attention with new objectives to take on, and plenty of ways to play then you must check this game out! Any Sniper fans who have tried the others in the series will find this game to be just as great or even better. The experience is something, unlike anything else I’ve played before! Truly an amazing game!

While there is a decent game and some great ideas in Deadcraft, its ambitious attempt at a big interactive world and long playing time forces the gameplay’s narrow formula into constant repetition, all while leaving the best till last, which dulls the middle of the experience and risks players not finishing the game.

Spacelines from the Far Out is an excellent cooperative space sim. Design your transport agency and make as much money as possible. Work solo or with friends to appease passengers, repair your vehicle, and arrive safely at your destination. It is tough, fun, and filled with madness.

Freshly Frosted is a fun and sweet puzzle title. With an array of mechanics to overcome and many doughnuts to ice, you must be logical and patient to be victorious. Furthermore, it's wonderfully surreal and calm thanks to the pastel colour palette, serene music, and slow gameplay.

The campaign is worth playing through at least once, but if you just want to play the game for the music, the visuals, and the gameplay, then you can also just chill in the Freeplay mode for eternity. Whatever might be your case, if you’ve read this far, I’m sure that you’ll deeply enjoy it. If you’re not really sure if it’s your thing, you can always try the game out through the PC Game Pass and buy it later if you want to support the developers, and I believe that they definitely deserve that support. Safe shipbreaking cutters!

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a fantastic looter shooter that enhances the Borderlands franchise. What's more, it utilises many much-loved mechanics and has some new elements chucked in. The combination of FPS action and the isometric overworld work perfectly to deliver the crazy plot. Alongside this, the acting is fantastic and you'll chuckle repeatedly from start to finish.

Honestly, The Last Friend is more like EVERY Last Friend. There are so many doggies to rescue and each one is just as adorable as the last. Every friend is a new team member and can be used to take down difficult enemies at a time. It’s just so much fun with the number of members you can place on the street to help you battle and how happy the dogs are when they get rescued. It’s just a fun game and very much one for dog lovers and those who are looking for a new reason to fight through challenging waves of enemies and save the planet!

Besides how I feel, no one has to be a perfect card player to play this game or know how to play it. It’s mostly how to cheat and that is all taught to the player right before the real card games begin. Of course speed, accuracy, and memorizing are also key points to winning each game. So then when you do win you can move forward to even higher stake tables. Lastly, the game will provide plenty of challenges, build some great skills, and is a bunch of fun when you’re able to cheat your way to the top!

Lost Ruins is a 2D side-scrolling survival action game, where you play as a young girl that has awoken in a strange and foreign place without her memories. With the aid of weapons, spells and tonics, and the guidance of the magical and mysterious Beatrice, you will explore a dark and dangerous world, battle hideous monsters, and topple incredible bosses.

This game is mixed for me. I think there is some fun to be had, but only if you’re a pinball fanatic, or want to relive old memories. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t have enough to keep things interesting beyond an hour, or two of gameplay, so therefore it’s hard for me to recommend it. There are things to appreciate in this game, but ultimately Pinball Freedom falls flat.

Unless you are familiar with the series and wish to play a remake of the original, I would recommend playing DD2 for free, and then wait to see which game the developer pulls the plug on (Awakened or Going Rogue) before committing to a purchase that requires multiplayer to enhance Awakened’s dull gameplay.

Flippin Kaktus is a hardcore platforming experience. Revenge goes hand in hand with rage, so channel this energy and destroy your foes. Alternatively, sneak around and go undetected. Use the environment to your advantage as you complete every level.

In a market muddled with subpar survival games, V Rising is a noticeable step above the rest. The vampire aesthetic is executed upon phenomenally well, and the ARPG mechanics match the themes to perfection. Progression and base building are intuitively designed, and feature some nice range of depth to them. All in all, this is a superb game and a much-welcomed change of pace. It should only serve to get better once it eventually leaves early access. [Early Access Provisional Score = 80]

Honestly, everything from this edition of the game is incredible and even the lifelike of the dinosaurs is well done, loving the added skins too! I always admire seeing the way these new species react in their habitats or towards each other! So I’m sure if you loved playing Jurassic World Evolution 2 as much as I do, you’ll love these four new dinosaurs, the additional campaign, chaos theory stage, and extras added by this edition.

Overall, Fillit has a simple look and even simpler gameplay that will suck players in for what feels like an unknown amount of time while they try to finish a level. Every time I revisited the game to get screen shots or find out more from the game, time flew by while my little puck danced and dodged around enemy attacks. The vibrant colors and fluid controls really helps bring everything together and this is one of those games that would be great as apart of a bundle or to catch on sale. 11sheep really managed to create a game that will grab the players attention and not let go until they find themselves say “oh but just one more level and I’ll be done”. In a world where games are always trying to chase a new fad and latch on to them for dear life, it is refreshing to play something on the simpler side of things.
