Wield his inhuman zombie powers to fend off enemies while searching the wasteland for answers to what happened to the only man he could trust. Build fantastical new armaments, conjure curious concoctions, or even grow and harvest zombie soldiers to stand by Reid’s side against whatever the apocalypse throws at him. It’s a dangerous world, and in order to stay alive Reid must take full advantage of the dead! DEADCRAFT is the newest deadly and daring game from Marvelous’ First Studio, creators of DAEMON X MACHINA. As if a hail of meteors reducing earth to a barren wasteland wasn’t bad enough, the devastation released a mysterious virus that resurrected the dead. A rare survivor of exposure to the virus, part-zombie Reid is captured by the twisted Nebron, leader of the Ark. After escaping from the torture table into the surrounding wasteland, Reid is determined to return to the city and exact some apocalyptic justice. Expand

While there is a decent game and some great ideas in Deadcraft, its ambitious attempt at a big interactive world and long playing time forces the gameplay’s narrow formula into constant repetition, all while leaving the best till last, which dulls the middle of the experience and risks players not finishing the game.

The skill tree is progression-locked, and not generously so, you always run underpowered compared to the enemies of the zone you need to farm. So no farming, no freedom. Crafting is forced only by the short stocks of traders for ammo and healing. Combat is a mess, the dodge has no i-frame, enemies can inflict various effects (knockdown for instance), but there is nothing to provide resistances. Sure u can summon a few zombies and stay away running in circles. fun. Anyway, to be avoided. Whatever you think it's in there, it's not Expand
