The developers at stillalive studios have achieved their best iteration of a simulation game with the release of Bus Bound. Strong gameplay, great variety in vehicles, a brilliant weather system and a thin, if not endearing, narrative help propel this genre into new heights. I do have some problems with bugs, animations and some lenient gameplay decisions, but overall, this is a great simulator game in a genre that I am rapidly falling in love with. I’m going back to the routes.- Movies Games and Tech

Planet Coaster 2 is the pinnacle of theme park simulation. The sheer amount of control on offer is astounding with a brilliant UI and responsive controls, making you feel like the true architect of the park. Creating rollercoasters has never been as detailed and the addition of water parks only adds to the vast content available. The three core modes create lasting replay ability and strong visual and audio presentation help propel this game to new heights. It takes everything wonderful about the original title and expands on it, to superb results. I adore every aspect of theme parks and I truly feel like this game was designed for me.- Movies Games and Tech

Overall, Project Songbird deserves its very positive Steam rating. The game gets a lot right, particularly its horror and its narrative. The game’s flaws are too minor to outweigh its positives. I can easily recommend this one to anyone who is a fan of psychological horrors with a story. The narrative and deeper message perhaps aren’t life changing, but I do think many creatives will be able to relate in some way—hopefully without the trauma and the monsters. Just remember that your art, whatever that may look like, is for you. Even if there isn’t a whole lot of fans or popularity gained, don’t forget who the artist is—yourself.- Movies Games and Tech

Wonderfully smooth and frantic combat is the glue that holds Reignbreaker together. It's got a great aesthetic, if a little samey at times, but works hard to keeps things fresh, even if the progression is strangely gated.- Movies Games and Tech

Assassin's Creed Mirage is a welcome attempt to reignite the spark of the older games in the series, refined by the techniques of the newer. Unfortunately, the end result is a shallow and poorly written affair, held up by an interesting setting and some thoughtful main missions.- Movies Games and Tech

Brotato is an exceptional arena-based rogue-like shooter. This fast-paced and aggressive game will get under your skin and make you swear! With addictive gameplay and simple controls, this is hard to put down and easy to learn. Yet, it'll take plenty of practice and effort to master this deep and fulfilling indie title.- Movies Games and Tech

Discounty is a fun and relaxing title that falls in the life-sim genre. Though many of the core mechanics are familiar, the balance isn't quite right. Unfortunately, once you expand your shop, there are limited reasons to return.- Movies Games and Tech

The Day I Became a Bird is a lovely adaptation of the book and film, with some nice gameplay ideas. While I'd have liked those ideas to be pushed a bit further, there's no denying the grin it put on my face.- Movies Games and Tech

Demon’s Mirror certainly has its moments of intrigue and challenge, but as time goes on, the game’s repetitive nature and slow progression dampen the excitement. While it might appeal to those craving complexity and a bit of a mental workout, for most players, the frustration and lack of meaningful upgrades make it hard to recommend.- Movies Games and Tech

Horizon Chase Turbo is a fantastic throwback to the arcade racing games of the 90s. The gameplay is a great mixture of easy to learn but hard to master, and the different game modes provide you with enough variation to keep you entertained for hours. The graphical presentation of the game captures the retro aesthetic immensely, with OST matching its themes magnificently. If you are looking for a racing game you can sit back and enjoy, then this is one worth picking up.- Movies Games and Tech

DC's Justice League: Cosmic Chaos is an amusing action-adventure title. The world is in danger and the Justice League must stand up and be counted. However, an all-powerful trickster has other ideas and you must battle this childish fool if you wish to be victorious. If you’re wondering I don’t recommend this game unless you’re already a fan of the series. And if you can get past most of its issues, your fine. If you’re anything like me, this will mostly come out to be a messy ride. I give this game a 5/10 a pretty fun game if you ignore the story, some characters, and the boring world.- Movies Games and Tech

In the current era of gaming, straightforward mechanics paired with a linear gameplay loop combine to form a product often misinterpreted as only being able to amount to a shallow, uninteresting time investment. Devout gamers, who now wander an evergrowing market of sophisticated, expansive experiences, deserve the reminder that simple, refined games can be just as enticing, exciting, and artistic as big-budget, cutting-edge titles. This collection is a passionate reminder of such a fact, serving as a love letter to the NES era of colorful, addicting gameplay while also shining a glowing spotlight on how chiptunes fueled so many of those classic experiences.- Movies Games and Tech

The Legend Of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak 2 is at its best when it focuses on its wonderful cast of characters. This JRPG shines when you diverge from the disappointing and far too long main plot and instead focus on the brilliant and emotional side quests. Whilst there are too few improvements and additions to combat, it is still an addictive turn-based experience. Coupled with great visuals and a memorable soundtrack, you have the recipe for a enjoyable JRPG. It takes some missteps but mainly sticks the landing!- Movies Games and Tech

There was always a risk in taking a beloved cult classic movie and making a tie-in game. Thankfully, Robocop: Rogue City delivers on the action, the gameplay, the visuals and more. It’s a nostalgic trip back to a favourite franchise to listen to that synth music and kill plenty of bad guys in true 80s action style.- Movies Games and Tech

I have waited for years in hope of TopSpin returning in all its glory and boy, has it delivered! A deep and robust career mode and an addictive online serving of tennis really make this game special. Coupled with gorgeous visuals and stunning sound design, this is the quintessential tennis video game. Some wonky currency issues and at times grindy levelling can hinder the experience slightly, but overall this game has reinvigorated my love for tennis in the real world and in the gaming arena. I’ll see you on the court!- Movies Games and Tech

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is a tour de force in how to bring anime into the gaming space. A compelling faithful retelling of a story fans love, superb combat and stunning visual and audio design make this game a really special experience. Whilst the lack of additions may upset some returning players, along with the weak gear system, there’s still so much fun to be had in this game. You can really feel the love and care the developers have poured into this sequel! See you in the arena!- Movies Games and Tech

There are only so many ways to reinvent the wheel in the shmup genre, but Risk System’s gameplay mechanic is certainly one way to do it, creating a thrilling action title that every side-scrolling fan will enjoy.
