A great Marvel game, with a stellar cast of characters and the solid and proven LEGO gameplay: unmissable by any true believer. Our main complaint is about the complete lack of localized dialogues in the Italian version of the game, something that highly diminishes its appeal towards the younger gamers.

Great fun for partying with friends or even for working out alone, Just Dance 2014 delivers a fresh and immediate experience. It only lacks a tutorial mode to better learn every single move: it would have been perfect with it.

The new Rocksmith is the nearest thing to an interactive guitar course, with the added fun of a video game. The guitar lessons and the new Session mode are great additions: definitely recommended to every guitarist wannabe or even expert musicians.

Infinity Ward goofs up on the campaign with a dull story and a totally forgettable villain, but they recover on the multiplayer side with some very nice maps, great bots AI, the usual frenzied gameplay and the highly addicting Extinction mode. Overall, though, CoD Ghosts lacks the magnificence and innovation we would have expected from IW's new work after the Modern Warfare trilogy.

We liked all the sea based activities: battles are challenging and deeper than before, underwater wrecks exploration is a nice addition and every pirate stories fan will find much to like here. Nevertheless, with Black Flag the series shows some fatigue especially in the ground sections like combat and the free-running mechanics, leaving us hoping for a strong overhaul starting with the next game.

If played locally, PES 2014 is a great soccer game showing that Konami took the right path for its series rebirth. But as you try getting online, countless problems arise making it hardly playable.

Warner Montréal proved to be fully capable of following in Rocksteady's footsteps, delivering a very entertaining game. If you were expecting a revolution in gameplay or setting you'll probably be disappointed, but despite that Batman: Arkham Origins is great fun and deserves to be played by any fan of the series.

Activision managed to successfully renovate its franchise, keeping it fresh with small but significant changes. One of the most recommended games for kids, especially if you’re planning to play with them, this holiday season.

PayDay 2 sports an interesting concept but it isn't flawless: bad graphics and a very inappropriate AI keep it from showing its true potential. You should consider it only if you've got three friends to play with.

The best Codemasters F1 game so far. The F1 Classics section adds a little touch of magic and emotions to the package, while the core games delivers a great reproduction - if not simulation - of the F1 racing experience.

Farming and breeding must be a very boring and repetitive activity, or at least this is what Farming Simulator 2013 makes us believe. Giants Software made a pretty impressive reproduction of the farming activities and tools, but they totally forgot that a game needs to entertain or at least involve its public.

FIFA 14 confirms itself as the best football sim around. A great and improved gameplay and many play modes make it a worthwhile buy on Xbox 360 even with the next-gen version looming.

There’s no better time than this to use the word masterwork: Rockstar did a colossal job creating a huge, visually stunning world chiseled in its finest details, populated by brilliant characters and with highly spectacular and varied gameplay.

A game you'll love or hate. Great graphics and art style make it a very pretty platform game, but the high and unforgiving difficulty could scare away the ones approaching it just for the looks.

A very good game concept by Disney, with a great potential but with a rough start due to some bugs and a quite repetitive Play Set gameplay. Children and Disney fans will love it though.

Spark Unlimited did well with the game's script and the stunning landscapes, but all this gets hindered by a too-repetitive gameplay and an overly slow pace, worsened by the too many and frequent load screens.

A great example of how to make a quality HD remake. Even if adapting the gameplay to modern tastes, Vector Cell managed to keep the original spirit untouched: even if you didn't play Delphine Software's original game, every lover of sci-fi action games would be pleased with it.

Challenging and adrenaline-fueled gameplay, a great co-op experience, painting-like levels and a ton of contents make Rayman Legends a must buy for platformers lovers. If we only could get rid of that light sense of déjà vu haunting us during the entire experience.

A very effective combat system and distinctive narrative and artistic style get balanced by an unimpressive story and quite annoying screen tearing. If you're looking for a genuine Suda51 experience, it's nevertheless a recommended game.

Saints Row IV doesn’t want to set new bars in graphics, storytelling or put hundreds of characters in the same area: it simply wants to be over the top, parodistic, irreverent and fun. And it succeeds, delivering us hours of great fun and satirical sketches. If you appreciate this kind of exaggerated and somewhat vulgar humor, it won’t disappoint you.

Blacklist successfully continues on the road taken by Conviction, keeping the core gameplay choices and expanding everything with a more open mission structure, greater focus on stealth gameplay, great replayability and a strong co-op and competitive multiplayer support. Dismissing it as another action-oriented Splinter Cell will be an error: it can be as stealthy and challenging as you want it to be.

Capcom's work doesn't add much important to the original games, and probably it's a good thing: if you're nostalgic, love retro gaming or are simply curious about video games' past, this will be an enjoyable experience.
