A very interesting novelty in the music games genre, very involving for guitar/bass newcomers even if quite challenging. The on-screen notes indicators are sometimes confusing and it could benefit from a more distinctive presentation, but if you always wanted to start playing guitar this is a very good tool for becoming acquainted with the instrument.

A great collection for every Worms lover, except for the objectionable inclusion of Ultimate Mayhem. If you didn't get the Live Arcade episodes, this is a good chance for many hours of entertainment.

FIFA 13 manages to add more improvements to an already great series, with a more varied and entertaining offering. If you're football lovers, this is the game to have.

Dead or Alive 5 stays true to its origins, with its signature combat system satisfying both for casual and hardcore gamers. A good fighter, even if it could have dared a little bit more on the improvements side.

If the game could have been interesting thanks to some well-thought minigames and charismatic characters, bad Kinect support an very short longevity make it an easily forgettable game.

Borderlands 2 is one of the best co-op games around and more broadly one of the most enjoyable ones, thanks to the sheer variety of weapons, enemies and missions, capable to entertain the player for many hours and several play-throughs. A must-play.

A good tie-in for Disney-Pixar's flic, entertaining and well-balanced for kids.

A pleasant surprise, with a very good and varied gameplay and very good graphics. One of the most entertaining games of these last months.

TTT2 might simply be seen as a (huge) collection of characters and stages for Tekken fans, but it's much more: the Fight Lab's got great potential for Namco's brawler newcomers, while the new tactical approach reached by the Tag interactions and the many available modes – including a strong if basic online support - will keep the interest high for every Tekken fan.

A decent game for cycling lovers, with an interesting managerial side but lacking on several aspects, like shoddy sounds and the complete absence of a tutorial for newcomers to the series.

A disappointing game in almost every aspect. Even the most forgiving children won't find it very interesting.

A very satisfying sequel, vast and blessed by a great level design, both gameplay and art-wise. Only a slightly disappointing story and some camera problems keep it from reaching higher heights.

Sleeping Dogs combines successful gameplay mechanics and a great story creating a well balanced – even if not innovative – and entertaining mix. A very good game, dragged down only by a somewhat short story and little lack of polish. And a good starting point for a successful series for Square Enix.

Risen 2 successfully manages to recreate the charming mood of pirate stories, but very bad visuals and gameplay with a too steep difficulty curve contribute to drag down its overall value.

A brilliant game with great art, level design and depth, let alone the very high longevity for a XBLA title. A real surprise, advised to every side-scrolling hack'n'slash lover.

Slightly better than its quadriennial predecessors, London 2012 suffers from an highly unbalanced difficulty, short longevity and the absence of real-world athletes. Mostly enjoyable in multiplayer.

If judged only by the variety of available cars and circuits, this could be one of the best racing games around. Too bad it's dragged down by a frustrating gameplay made of odd design choices and awkward driving model.

Great visuals and animations are partially countered by unexciting game design and a banal story. It's still a decent buy for zombie lovers, but it could have been much more.

A surprising game: a dirty, gritty travel through human moral and psyche. An experience worth trying, even if plagued by small technical and gameplay problems.

It's got the great Tony Hawk's classic gameplay and good online support, but with too little in the way of content and no local multiplayer it's a half-successful revival.

A good "ballistic destruction" game, with functional and well-thought motion controls and overally satisfying gameplay. With better artistic and level/puzzles design could have been a real must-have.

What many were hoping to be one of the first real hardcore Kinect games turned into a very frustrating experience; the core concept is good and it's got some nice visuals too, but the motion control is too cumbersome.
    • 52 Metascore

It contains some interesting ideas and a good story, but it's dragged down by an awful voice acting, bad combat system and a subpar technical production. A game of such a scale and ambition deserves way better production values.

An enjoyable game, but it misses the opportunity to be something more expecially regarding the free-roaming Manhattan, too repetitive and uninteresting. It's however a good tie-in that will please both Spidey's comics and movie lovers.

Inversion feels like a missed chance: Saber nailed the gameplay basics following Gears of War's footsteps, but the gravity-based mechanics needed a more creative and emergent approach. An interesting plot would have helped too.

Yet another step forward for the LEGO games, with new gameplay elements and a great cast of characters that help it to stay on top of TT Games' line-up. Nonetheless, the series starts to look a little bit tired and in need of important changes and improvements.

An insane and wildly entertaining game, something untouched by the alleged japanese developers creative crisis; too bad its short longevity and low challenge level concur to drag the overall rating down, but it deserves to be tried.

Dragon's Dogma introduces some very clever ideas to the RPG genre, but they aren't supported by strong enough story, artistic design and technical production. What we've got are some very good missions with highly satisfying combat, spaced out by hours and hours of boring walks in similar-looking and pop-up-ridden lands, but for what it introduces it deserves to be played by RPG fans looking for something new.

DiRT Showdown is a pleasing arcade take on the classical rally franchise, with the great technical production Codemasters used us to. Nevertheless, it lacks some spice expecially if played alone, ending up to be recommendable mainly to people willing to play an immediate and entertaining racer with friends.
