Bottom line, this is more of the same and we couldn't be happier. Angry Birds Seasons HD is both addictive and challenging, and you'd be crazy not to pony up the cash and download it ASAP.- Modojo

On the positive side, Kick Buttowski is fast-paced and fun, the type of App you can whip out and score a quick fix without having to wade through cut scenes or even load times. We just wish it had a restart button mid level, ala Angry Birds, but that's a small issue compared to the game's lack of content.- Modojo

Mika Mobile has once again commanded our collective attention with a game that is both easy on the eyes and immensely satisfying. Buy it without hesitation and cross your fingers for plenty of free characters and levels in the future.- Modojo

Minter's love of all things old school has paid dividends, with a sweet shooter you need to experience, especially if you grew up during the golden age of Atari.- Modojo

It works, but right handed people clearly have an advantage, since the developers neglected to include an option for left handed gamers.- Modojo

Even worse, the game only has one mode, and players need to find at least one other person to enjoy the game. There's no single player content to speak of, so forget about competing against bots. That would be easier to deal with if Battle Royale had online play, but it's local only.- Modojo

It's a fun if not twisted game. We just wish the designers included more than nine in-game achievements. Other than that small and borderline silly issue, Karoshi is a unique puzzle game that also serves as a reminder to never miss vacation time.- Modojo

Super Soviet Missile Mastar lacks the assorted bells and whistles of more advanced iPhone/iPad games, but we can't resist its old school charm and low price of free; an online leaderboard would make it a 4/5, easily. Play it for five minutes, and we guarantee it'll make you strong, like bull.- Modojo

Throw in online and local multiplayer, and Asphalt 6: Adrenaline is one of the best racers you can buy. We would have preferred more cars, but this is pound for pound one of the coolest games on the App Store. On that note, do yourself a favor and splurge on the $6.99 iPad edition.- Modojo

Infinity Blade is beautiful, gripping and intense. Most importantly, its creators delivered a console quality experience in your hands, so while it's a wonderfully designed and thoroughly enjoyable brawler, this title also stands out as a killer app, the type of thing that solidifies Apple's iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch as legitimate contenders to the portable gaming throne.- Modojo

Gameloft didn't beat Zelda, not even close, but Sacred Odyssey has the necessary ingredients for a hit, including tons of action, a plethora of missions and some likeable characters, even if they sound like dopes.- Modojo

Those aforementioned problems melt away the second you slaughter several Necromorphs and travel deeper into the brand new story that bridges the gap between the original game and the recently released sequel. We didn't jump out of our chairs, but the wow factor is more than enough to make it worth a look.- Modojo

For the introductory price of $2.99, Guerrilla Bob can't be beat. It's a fun traditional action game along the lines of Smash TV and Minigore, and what it lacks in a strong Campaign Mode, it makes up for with the awesome Survival Mode and Crystal connectivity.- Modojo

The PSP version of Chinatown Wars is still superior, due to the less clumsy controls and included soundtrack. However, if an iPhone is all you have, this definitely doesn't feel like a second rate effort.- Modojo

Unfortunately, there's only one mode, making Fruit Ninja a one-trick pony. But considering the price of the game and those advanced online features, we'll let it slide. Clearly, the best type of app is the one you can't resist playing and/or can easily play any time, and that being said, this game is worth every penny.- Modojo
