It just goes to show that sometimes, it's the simplest of concepts that make a hit.- Modojo

Bottom line, this is more of the same and we couldn't be happier. Angry Birds Seasons HD is both addictive and challenging, and you'd be crazy not to pony up the cash and download it ASAP.- Modojo

The only conceivable issues are the obvious omissions. Disney Mobile failed to include a level editor (you can only customize the cars), and you can't zoom in/out to get a lay of the land.- Modojo

Vainglory is an excellent showcase of what can be done with iOS 8's Metal engine, and exemplary of MOBAs in general. It could even go toe to toe with PC releases. For that reason, it's certainly one free-to-play title that you'd do well to download.- Modojo

I'm extremely impressed with the amount of care and attention that went into creating such a robust single and multiplayer package. It is a must-own for gamers even remotely interested in puzzle gaming.- Modojo

One of the finest games we've had the privilege of experiencing. It joins Tiny Wings, Angry Birds and Cut the Rope as a handful of quality titles you must absolutely have on either your iPhone or iPad.- Modojo

The blending of mechanics, particularly in later levels, may cater a little more towards the hardened Cut The Rope veteran, but there's much to be enjoyed by everyone in this new adventure. It represents a bold evolution for the core gameplay, the levels are as tightly designed as you'd expect, and there'll no doubt be many more of them in future updates.- Modojo

Gameloft didn't beat Zelda, not even close, but Sacred Odyssey has the necessary ingredients for a hit, including tons of action, a plethora of missions and some likeable characters, even if they sound like dopes.- Modojo

Despite the fact it's almost a decade old, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is still a gritty yet refreshing open-world experience that fans of mobile action games owe it upon themselves to check out.- Modojo

TwinGo!'s a breath of fresh air in the puzzle genre, a brightly colored, cute and immensely addictive game that's worth $0.99 and even more. Two big thumbs up.- Modojo

As you can see, there are plenty of reasons to download Toy Story: Smash It!, from the head-scratching puzzles to the welcome fan service. Appropriate for all ages, Disney has once again provided an iOS title that does the respective license proud, and with more levels on the way via update, we expect to keep this game on our devices throughout the year.- Modojo

A furious arcade style blast fest that serves as a welcome addition to the App Store library. It costs more than most titles ($4.99), but after slaughtering thousands of creepy crawlies, we feel it was money well spent.- Modojo

Yet another outstanding addition to the iPhone and iPad, and the old school presentation and enjoyable gameplay more than justifies the $0.99 asking price.- Modojo

The fact that Trigger Fist lacks originality makes it somewhat generic. Then again, it provides multiplayer that works each and every time, devoid of lag and other performance hiccups.- Modojo

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 is a hard sell at $9.99, due to its quirky controls and lack of new content. On the other hand, if you love the original or need a quick skateboarding fix, you could do worse than ollie up the cash for it.- Modojo

Bottom line, Robot Unicorn Attack 2 is a wonderful follow-up and a textbook example of how sequels should be done. The load times could be shorter and we would have preferred paying $0.99-$1.99 to download it with a variety of songs, but as is, you can't allow those minor complaints to tarnish an otherwise stellar smartphone and tablet game.- Modojo

We can't recommend Mad Acorn enough. There's simply nothing quite like it on the App Store, and it's more than a bizarre curiosity. This is a well made and immensely entertaining video game that'll have you tapping a foot and nodding your head in no time.- Modojo

Apocalypse Max doesn't break new ground in the 2D platform/shooting genre, but its high-level of polish puts it right up there with the best iOS has to offer. You can't call yourself a zombie fan without downloading this entertaining game.- Modojo

You have to work hard to penetrate the unfriendly surface of Frozen Synapse, not just because of the depth of strategy, but also a rather unfortunate disregard for the early days of the eager but uncertain newcomer. Persevere though, and you'll be rewarded with one of the finest tactical games you can get for your tablet.- Modojo

All of this very compelling gameplay is wrapped up in some of the smartest looking - and sounding - environments we've enjoyed on our mobiles, and the story is a hoot. Throw in the trademark Gilbert humor, and you've got a mix that will prove irresistible for any fan of match-three gaming.- Modojo
