You'll want to love Bladeslinger, but that love will go unrequited for the most part. Let's hope any future installments give a little more back.- Modojo

For now, it'll have to settle for being average, and we expect Com2uS to release new updates that will make it a high quality product. That said, if you're in desperate search of an outstanding golf title for your mobile, Gameloft's Let's Golf 3 is still the undisputed king.- Modojo

DeNa's freemium Star Wars tower defense title sounded like an interesting concept when it first emerged, but having spent some time on it, it's quite disappointing, namely within how generic it feels and the barrage of IAPs thrown at the player within the first few moments of play throughout the entire life cycle of the game on your device.- Modojo

I admire what Square Enix tried to do with this release, and I believe they did the best they could do with the controls. However, when porting a game this complex, there's not a lot of room for change, and action-adventure is just not a genre that translates well to touch screens.- Modojo

Don't get us wrong. Dream Chaser isn't bad per se. It's just woefully average. Considering the huge amount of competition when it comes to endless runners and Chillingo's pedigree, we expected better.- Modojo

Kung Fu Rabbit does nothing new. First, there's no martial arts to speak of. You can unlock the ability to jump on enemies' heads, but forget about unleashing a furious round of punches and kicks. Despite the title, it's a fairly standard platformer.- Modojo

When you consider the handful of character blocks you can unlock, Legends of Chima: Speedorz has some value, but there's simply not enough digital meat on this game's bones to hold our collective interest.- Modojo

Stardom: Hollywood looks great, has an occasionally wicked sense of humor, and it knows how to crack a few barbed quips at celebrity culture. But ultimately it fluffs its lines in the only area that really matters - the gameplay.- Modojo

Back to Bed is practically oozing with visual charm, but it can't back it up with weak gameplay and a lack of replay value. Perhaps the developers should have slept on it a bit longer.- Modojo

On the one hand, it's nice to see a freemium progression game that gives you a more active, combat-orientated role in how that progression develops. On the other hand, it's tethered very tightly to that monetization system, and the combat and controls aren't particularly exciting.- Modojo

The unfortunate fact is that Edna & Harvey's best achievements (a deep script, engaging characters and unrivaled interactivity) end up buried beneath a frustrating adventure game, one that's fashioned from over-worked puzzling and meandering dialogue that fails to make a clean separation between depth of story and rewarding gaming.- Modojo

As a message, Nightmare: Malaria succeeds commendably well, but as a gameplay experience it's a clunky platformer that few will have the patience to finish.- Modojo

It's far clumsier and less polished than the big-name endless-runners, yet it packs in considerably more variety through the dynamic environments.- Modojo

As a single player game, there is a great deal to like about Street Fighter X Tekken Mobile, and even the negative elements such as the low framerate can't detract from the varied moves, decent selection of characters and sparkling environments. Sadly it's only half an offering at present.- Modojo

There's no doubt that you've played this game several times over, so it'll appeal to you if you're a fan of the genre, but in the end it's just another matching puzzler.- Modojo

If you love to play hours of chess against an opponent who is often much better than you are, then this game could be for you. However, be aware you will have to stomach a terrible storyline in order to play the single player game.- Modojo

The general game isn't any fun because there's no personality and the AI hunts down too many shots for its own good. The graphics deliver, but the sound needs some work, especially with the stiff commentary. And you guys need to touch up your multiplayer as well...it's shoddy.- Modojo

Juiced: Eliminator isn't bottom of the barrel, but it comes in at a distant third when the underground racing genre has already gone well into its life span, and that's not good news.- Modojo

It's just a shame that we don't have the patience to deal with the game's sloppy tilt controls. We really want to love Ribbim Ribbon because it features stylish visuals, a cool soundtrack and a fun concept, but until Tapulous makes some necessary tweaks, it'll remain ignored.- Modojo

Despite the pretty drawings, Age of Monsters has nothing else going for it. We thought such mindless nonsense died shortly following the App Store's release, back when developers flooded Apple's online store with shovel ware. Sadly, it appears some creators still feel the need to waste everyone's time.- Modojo

The concept is OK, and the retro graphics have a cool 8-bit vibe. We just cannot muster enough excitement to care. Poor collision detection means enemies reach your character even though it seemed like you executed a high enough jump to vault over them. Meanwhile, the randomness of the weapons simply makes the game tougher than it should be. No one in his or her right mind should want to go from a flamethrower to landmines. Factor in just three stages, and Super Crate Box is a big letdown.- Modojo

The action, sadly, is quite pedestrian. The developers offer touch and tilt controls, both of which work well enough, but none of the bikes move especially fast, and the computer is at times relentless, where one slight mistake costs you a race. Factor in a lack of retina display and universal support, and Streetbike: Full Blast disappoints on just about every level. A shame, considering Chillingo's impressive lineup of iOS games.- Modojo

WWE WrestleFest is the best wrestling game on the App Store, but that's only because there are so few to choose from. THQ had the opportunity to do something brilliant, but poorly designed A.I. ruined what could have been a sweet revival.- Modojo

We just cannot believe the nerve of these designers to overcharge (yes, a dollar too much) for something that should obviously be free. Is it fun against a friend? Sure, but don't expect to play it for more than ten minutes.- Modojo
