Ultra Street Fighter: The Final Challengers is a new version of the game that defined the fighting game genre in the 1990s. It has some new features, but most of them are dispensable. However, it's still a classic with solid, fun and addictive gameplay.

The first title of this two games saga manages to create a perfect environment for its sequel with a slow but interesting story along with an original but simple combat systems.

Seasons After Fall is a captivating 2d-platform adventure with witty puzzles involving the changes of the seasons on nature.

Solid update with new characters, new and important balance changes and the same mechanics and modes as its predecessor. Probably the best fighting game nowadays.

Akiba's Beat doesn't offer something different from other Japanese RPG games. However as the games progresses it becomes an interesting title and alternative in the genre.

It's still one of the best entries in the series, but it's illogical that they released the exact same PS2 games, instead of the more recent HD version for PS3. Great story and characters, but gameplay and graphics are not up to the task.

Intelligent Systems takes the risk of not following the path opened by the successful Awakening and Fates, but instead travels to the past to bring back the old mechanics from the obscure 2nd entry in the franchise. The result is a game that diverts from what people associate with Fire Emblem, that feels fresh at the start, but gets tedious due to the continuous random battles.

The Surge is not only a “sci-fi Dark Souls clone” but also a solid game in its own right. Deck13 brings some good ideas to the mix and achieves one of the most interesting combat systems of this particular subgenre.

NetherRealm is finally able to implement its own style to not only the combat system, but also the whole DC Universe, reimagining the confrontation between the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight in a brilliant Story Mode. Multiverse offers an almost infinite number of hours of play, and can satisfy any type of player. Despite lack of innovation in the game, the group of DC heroes finally gets the videogame they deserve.

If you have PlayStation VR, Farpoint is a must-have game for you. One of the best VR experiences yet. Also, the Aim Controller its pretty damn great.

A good adventure full of puzzles to solve. Ingenious and fun, but not very difficult, World to the West is a good choice for lovers of this kind of games.

NBA Playgrounds isn't the new NBA Jam, but is fun and solid with friends.

LocoRoco Remastered continues shining in each and every aspect, making it one of the best portable Sony games ever made. Its new features are good, but not enough as it has been eleven years since the original release. Completely recommended, however, if you own a PS4.

Wonderful Explosion Machine brings the Nintendo Switch back to the good old days of Defender. Colorful environments and tight gameplay make for a great debut for the Shoot em Up genre in a machine more than suitable for the classics. It just doesn't match the outstanding quality of certain shooters available today, but it´s a solid game after all.

The Silver case is a different experience compared to other visual novel games. Its plot, soundtrack and interaction levels make it quite special but in contrast it has some confusing moments.

Way of Redemption is a new Windjammers spiritual successor with a poor offer and so many connection problems. It will have free updates with new features and content but, until then, you should skip the game.

It nails the style it is pursuing and looks like a lost piece of 90s, but the level design and some important bugs in its launch makes it a very frustrating experience the more you play.

Another roguelike game with solid mechanics but one that is too often unfair.

A good classic FPS, frenetic and full of action, with certain problems of repetition and a sense of progress that make the experience worse. You'll like it if you love roguelike style games.

The story is not the best and its difficulty is very high, but Prey gets the job done. Despite its shortcomings, it's an interesting game that appeals to a very specific audience and delivers an experience that should be played.

The characters, along with the story, are the strong point of the title, returning many of the classics we could see being a jumble of pixels in 2D so many years ago.

A bit of the same, but the good kind of same. Dragon of the North introduces a new story arc that begins in the cold lands of Tohoku, a region with several missions and bosses which build on an already great game.

Kakimo is arguably a stunning game with its own personality and sense of joy, surprising with that pixel-art visuals. Easy to recommend for any Nintendo Switch owner as its prize is really fair, but we would have liked to have more difficulty and length in the whole adventure.

Day of Infamy is not for any kind of user, but it's realistic, complex and great co-op experience.

It could be the roundest narrative game of the year.

Two puzzle game juggernauts collide in a solid, fun and complete experience. Good as a single player game, great with its multiplayer options.

Little Nightmares doesn't invent anything, but this puzzle and platform game creates an original world (The Maw) where we live grotesque, stressed situations because of its deformed inhabitants. The graphic and sound design completes the formula to generate an unpleasant fear.

Full of ideas and referents, but dull and uninspired, One Dog Story doesn't fullfil its ambitions. The repetitive music and graphics, and the focus on storytelling over gameplay make it somehow boring, although it has some good ideas.
