    N++
    N++ is a throwback to simpler, nicer times, in which videogames didn't need to constantly bomb the player with many button commands, or HUD elements. Its main strengths are its minimalistic visual style, and its strong -yet simple gameplay.

    Hob
    Hob offers a beautiful world where the exposition and the hand-holding take a step back to let an efficient mix of exploration, platforming and environmental puzzles flow at good pace. The combat could be a bit more meaningful, and some technical issues are prevalent, but for the adventure fans it's a trip well worth taking.

    The Layton franchise is back with an interesting spin off that, despite not introducing some important innovations, keeps the appeal of the main episodes of this saga with its feeling and good puzzles. Overall, this is a good entry in the series, but it feels not as remarkable as its predecessors.

    Shadow of War acts as a perfect expansion for everything that Shadow of Mordor rocked. Flawless combat, stealth as a friendly friend and the awesome re-imagining of Middle Earth will just appeal to everyone who enjoyed the first game. The conflict has grown, the gameplay is still there, and that´s good news indeed.

    A wonderful new vision of the Game Boy Advance classic. This game combines a great variety of genres inside a wonderful and fresh JRPG, updated with a correct new adventure that is not as fun as the main plot.

    Raiders of the Broken Planet is a third-person multiplayer shooter which proposes more organic game mechanics and a attractive online combat between 4 players against 1. Unarmed combat is as important as shooting.

    The improvements received in Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters are scarce enough to make the player interested in him. The mechanics continue to work but perhaps it would have been better to launch it as downloadable content.

    Improving the first Original Sin has probably been a difficult task, but Larian delivers with a game that shows their confidence and mastery of the genre. A true jewel, not without flaws, but an indisputable reference.

    With some of the most breathtaking visuals of the year, Cuphead opened fire with graphics that seem made back in the 30s by Fleischer Studios itself, an OST of pure, swinging ragtime Jazz and gameplay so damn hard that we were in Heaven every time we have conquered a level. You definitely have to have some skills to play this game, to overcome its amazing Final Bosses, to pass through its impossible run & gun levels. But boy, what a feeling on the victory screen, and what a great game to begin October with. Studio MHDR, we salute you.

Despite some mistakes and a lack of options in some of this modes, The One is a fantastic career mode that contains hundred of hours of fun. The Canadian company finds its way to the comeback, and we expect it will result in a few seasons.

    Nioh goes away just like it came: with an excellent combat system, some intense challenges and a fascinating recreation of the Japanese history and mythology. The formula may seem a bit stagnant at this point, but Bloodshed's End doesn't disappoint when it comes to offering a worthy send-off.

    Xenoverse 2 for Nintendo Switch is the best experience we have ever had with a Dragon Ball game in a handheld system, but the game continues lacking some important aspects in terms of gameplay and performance. However, it is a remarkable game for Switch owners and DB fans.

    A fine addition to the Nintendo Switch library, delivering an entertaining gaming experience that suits the portable mode of the console. However, its formula feels a little bit dated by now and lacks the variety and the personality to keep the player engaged in the long run.

    ARK: Survival Evolved is a complete survival experience. It could be a little frustrating at the beginning, but once you learn the mechanics and get used to the gameplay, the player has multiple options to develop their characters and enjoy the beautiful but dangerous open world created by Studio Wildcard. However, the console interface isn't intuitive enough, and the performance isn't perfect, with some framerate issues. Even so, it´s very enjoyable to interact with the wild creatures living in this prehistoric island.

    Blue Reflection is an interesting mix which makes a step beyond the regular "Atelier series" games. Its story seems common from a regular "shojo manga" with fantasy but after each chapter it becomes more interesting until the end. The combat system in battles it's simple but also fun to play and with every other things to do in the game and the notable soundtrack, with really good themes, make it an option to take into account for the genre fans.
