An extraordinary master class on how to recover an abandoned style of making RPGs, showing all its strengths. A superb story, plenty of role-pay possibilities and a beautiful trip. Hopefully, just the first stop of it.- Meristation

Shulk's journey begins in your New Nintendo 3DS at the same excellent level as Wii. Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is a perfect adaptation for one of the best JRPGs of recent years. It has spectacular graphics and sound on portable console. The Monado Sword hacks again this special and open adventure.- Meristation

The Game of Thrones from Telltale reaches an interesting point in this first half of season, with a lot of promising directions that point to another solid interactive story.- Meristation

Arcadia Bay shows us its streets, its people, its places, and we walk through there with Maxine one more time in this unique and mesmerizing micro-universe from Dontnod. This second chapter shows us the weight and magnitude of our decisions and choices, particularly in its brutal climax. The game still is very easy, and takes too much time to start in this chapter, but it deserves our time if we like this kind of Telltale/David Cage experience.- Meristation

Bloodborne offers a new point of view in the Souls franchise with a great offensive combat system, polished gameplay and full of frantic moments. Great level design, good visuals and brilliant OST for the first big PS4 exclusive.- Meristation

Resident Evil Revelations 2, as a full game, offers a lot of content and has great replay value. Sadly not everything in this package is good, and some parts of the campaign are a bit boring. It's a good game but it's not at the same level as the first Revelations.- Meristation

Handsome Jack tells you his complete story in Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, a new and interesting HD pack with Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel for PS4 and Xbox One. All DLCs, split screen for 4 players, 1080p/60fps... It has everything we could expect.- Meristation

Battlefield Hardline mixes new ideas with elements of the EA DICE's series. Visceral Games and DICE have done a good job. However it's below the high expectations. The singleplayer story is interesting and it has a strong stealth component. The multiplayer adds heists and powerful modes, but not all of them at the same level.- Meristation

One of the best individual episodes from Telltale. While it can be discussed that it has taken way too much time from Episode 1, it´s also hard to argue that it has been time well-spent. Tales from the Borderlands seems to keep an excellent pace with an interesting story and great characters.- Meristation

Oceanhorn is not a Zelda game, but is a long adventure with some great moments (boss battles) and brilliant BSO. However, Oceanhorn has too simple mechanics and poor level design that builds a good game, but not an excellent one like it's Zelda inspiration.- Meristation

One more time, the 11 years young Mario Vs Donkey comes back with a lemming-esque challenge that has been its signature since the first sequel on Nintendo DS. We have new elements, a return to its 2D roots, a generous quantity of levels, extras, cross-buy between 3DS and Wii U, the long-term promise of new levels made by Nintendo and a community that's already making new challenges, but the game itself takes a lot of levels to increase its difficulty, and the series trademark formula obviously needs a more intense refresh, and not just new elements here and there.- Meristation

Metamorphosis is the latest DLC episode for Resident Evil Revelations 2 and offers some cool elements in terms of story but overall, is not that good on the gameplay department. Also, Claire's part is insanely short.- Meristation

Bladestorm, initially released in 2007 for the previous generation of consoles, receives an update for new platforms with Nightmare, offering a touch of fantasy to the Hundred Years' War. The new content is interesting, but the gameplay remains unchanged.- Meristation

Sometimes you want a game that can entertain you, nothing more, nothing less. Zombie Army is that kind of title, something you can enjoy for the pure pleasure of head-shooting nazi zombies in slow motion.- Meristation

Mario Party 10 has a big number of simple and accessible mini-games. The game tries to be different with asymmetric gameplay, but has an irregular final result. Too passive in some moments, but with four or five players it's still a fun option.- Meristation

Type-0 on the PSP was the best Final Fantasy game since, maybe, Final Fantasy XII. Nothing changes that in this case: Type-0 HD is fun to play, hard to master and offers a lot of content to explore. Also, here we have the access to Episode Duscae, the first chance to play Final Fantasy XV and to discover where the series is right now. It's a convincing package.- Meristation

Sid Meier's Starships is a quick and quite entertaining turn-based strategy game. Perhaps it's the beginning of a new sub-genre that might be called 5X with a fifth 'x' corresponding to eXpress. It is often said that brevity is the soul of wit but any regular follower of the Civilization series will remain hungry for more. It just has to be seen for what it is: fast food or something to snack on between meals.- Meristation

Like Fez and others of same type, La-Mulana is something more than an exercise of retro-pixel-love. It's a beast of the exploration and puzzles, taking the concept of Metroidvania to a challenging level of difficulty. Not just your typical Indiana Jones 2D clone, but one game that really make us feeling like explorers resolving cryptic clues in a gigantic meta-puzzle scenario. And with a soundtrack totally MIDI that could be signed by Chris Huelsbeck himself.- Meristation

Assassin's Creed: Rogue is conformist, well done but it has no ambition. Shay is a Templar, a rude new protagonist who reveals new secrets of the whole saga. Too many sea battles and very uninteresting murder or traditional missions.- Meristation

Here we are two years after we started this journey. It has been three chapters with different characters, locations and stories, but the same mechanics and universe. This time we are in this kind of buddy JRPG alchemy story with two girls that can use a friendly but deep crafting system. Quick battles, no time-limit this time and the sense that this is the end of the journey, at least of the Dusk trilogy and the series on PS3. We'll see you on PlayStation 4, Gust.- Meristation

Although it's not the best of its genre, Oreshika delivers a great amount of fun and a handful of reasons to expend more than 100 hours hunting demons and building a new name for our Clan. A nice game for fans of the genre.- Meristation

DmC was an amazing game back in 2013, and it's still a brilliant hack'n slash. The Definitive Edition adds a lot of content and also offers a good amount of playable elements that made the game a must-have for all the fans of the genre. Cities: Skylines is a really interesting alternative within a fairly consolidated genre. Colossal Orders presents a nice game after the nonsense of some recent attempts by other companies. It has some character and dares to show some original ideas without departing from the standardized gameplay mechanics. If you were waiting for a good city management game just take a look to this interesting project. It's still capable of many surprises if it finally gets supported by a community of creative and proactive users.- Meristation

A graphical adventure unbalanced in its puzzles, a Survival horror that is not scary. Ok, maybe White Night is not perfect, but just for that mix between Raymond Chandler, Noir style and Alone in the Dark really truly deserves a trial. One of the most atmospheric games in the genre we have seen recently. And for that alone, White Night deserves some credit.- Meristation

New mechanics, new elements, new environment and even new animatronics. Five Nights at Freddy's comes back with a third part that tries to keep the whole thing fresh and new. Chasing by just one animatronic, the rest of gang will appear in visions and try to kill us from a heart attack in a chain of scary moments. Right now, Freddy's 3 gives back to the community what they ask for: Scary moments, a good history, and a bunch of material for the community that tries to preserve the game.- Meristation
