Nioh is more than a Souls based game. It has a solid, deeper and versatile combat system, it's full of content and offers great final boss battles. A balanced game between action and RPG, but not a legal heir of the Ninja Gaiden formula. However, has an irregular level design.

What begins as a Sticker Star 2.0 grows more confident and slowly becomes a great Paper Mario on its own. There still are some issues, but it's great that Intelligent Systems has found its right direction.

Despite the lack of general improvements, MLB The Show 18 offers, once again, a completely personal experience for each player. This year, any player will find multiple ways for enjoying baseball, and for the rookie, a welcoming game that knows how to teach the basis of this sport.

Although not as daring as Silent Hill 2, Metal Gear Solid Delta is just as good. Another remake worthy of its legacy, only let down by the AI and some animations.

Gran Turismo 7 has recaptured the hallmarks of the series and immediately becomes the most comfortable piece of driving in living memory. Polyphony Digital has put all the pieces together, taking the best from the early episodes of the series and the advances of the HD era. The result is a polished, perfected control and feel at the wheel, matched by a dizzying array of technology. All in all, it demonstrates the three fundamental pillars of the series: racing, collecting and photography. Despite its mediocre collision engine, a far cry from the physics system, an AI that can be improved and some convoluted menus, Gran Turismo 7 is a declaration of love to the world of motorsport. Its didactic commitment and appreciation for every car makes all the difference. Gran Turismo is synonymous with racing, but not only that. Accessible and deep at the same time, this is a must-have for cars enthusiasts, a title with the potential to last an entire generation.

The Witness is a beautiful game that invites the player to explore its island, to live in in it, to look for the challenging puzzles that will allow us to discover this island. Without doubt, it's one of the best indie games of 2016.

SMT: Apocalypse is an excellent game with deeper, fluid and solid system combat, great art direction. It's, also, a good sequel. One of the most solid JRPG in terms of gameplay, but misses some opportunities with the new Divine Powers faction and has some inconsistencies at the end of the game.

F1 2021 continues the excellent playable feel boosted from its previous installment. The arrival of the new generation of consoles brings us a game that takes few risks, but does not make it worse for that: it is the best opportunity to enjoy F1.

Hotline Miami is a gift for those who are willing to enjoy the old-arcade essence of the 8 and 16 bits era. Furthermore, the gameplay mechanics are superb and the strong 80ish atmosphere adds to a really twisted travel.

An excellent fighting game, fast and furious, easy to learn hard to master and with superb audio and graphics. A jewel for fans of the genre that will have a long life. Season 2 improves combat mechanics, add great new characters and has new good ideas like Laboratory mode.

Stardew Valley fits perfectly on Nintendo Switch. Its possibility to be played on handheld mode is just magic, but the lack of touch screen capacity controls is a pity. However, the product is overall as good as the other console versions. If you are looking for a Harvest Moon like title, this is the very best one.

Dreams is a triumph on the formula that Media Molecule has been improving since LittleBigPlanet. Its creation tools are overwhelming and require hard work, but they're ultimately rewarding. There is a great sense of community, and trying new creations every day feels satisfying and exciting.

Civilization V: Brave New World integrates perfectly with the mechanics of previous versions and achieves to extend the gameplay of this great 4X. It is becoming clear that Civilization V is one of the largest of its kind with each new expansion pack and an image in which many would like to be reflected. If not for its flaws in the AI and that feeling of being buying a complete game in easy monthly payments... this would be an almost perfect game.

Hacker's Memory follows the same pattern that the previous title had but at the same time going one step beyond. A great combat system, an interesting story and characters and mostly the great soundtrack, with a few new themes added, and also a better pace on completing side missions complete an amazing title in this franchise.

There still are few things with room for improvement, and the portable performance sour the taste a little bit, but the experience is unquestionably superior from the one offered back on Wii. If you were already a fan, you'll continue to be. If you've never played it before, you truly are in for a treat.

This title improves where it predecessor failed, including new game modes that teach the fundamental mechanics and movements to learn to play and improving playability with new techniques making the title quite accessible from newbies to veterans. With four new characters, reaching 20 in total, and quite extras and game modes to play, this title becomes an interesting option in the genre.

Football Manager 2015 is still the king of the football management simulators, although a new purchase is not necessarily justified. This year's release focuses on improving the UI and enhances interaction with players, coaches, directors and press. The whole game is the most realistic sports simulation once again and a must for football fans who want to give orders from the bench. The best way to be a successful coach without leaving home.
