The Assassin's Creed franchise returns after a year of absence with a new game set in Ancient Egypt. Origins is a new beginning for the series, and comes along with several major changes in gameplay design. Ubisoft's Egypt is not only beautiful and dangerous, but also a mysterious living world. The new RPG system, the redesigned combat system, and the missions are the pillars of Assassin's Creed Origins. It is more an evolution of the formula than a revolution. Of course it´s not a perfect game, specially because the battle system doesn´t work so well with many enemies. Also, the AI should be improve in the future.

Resistance 2 is far better than the original. Technical improvements, more balanced gameplay, lots of exciting situations and visually spectacular. Both online and offline modes can offer tons of hours of fun, and being able to play with up to 60 users in a same battle is such an unforgettable experience. Chimeras are harder than ever, and Nathan must defend USA from their assault. One of the best 2008's FPS. Period.

Improved ball physics, especially in distant shots and lob passes. It also has softened the game itself, giving a sense of fluidity and speed that it did not reach before, thanks to a faster response from the players, and the new control 360 that now allows changes to direction and dribbling with only stick address without using combos.

Fans of tactics will find XCOM: Enemy Within a very interesting title and a worthy successor. It provides a good amount of changes to the original game, such as a new campaign with more enemies, more missions and new events ready to test our skills. It's not exactly the same game as last year's game thanks to some of the new mechanics but it's similar enough for not being scared of changes. XCOM: Enemy Within is a high level game and with great quality.

Rare Replay is a great classic compilation with must-haves like Battletoads, Conker, Banjo and Perfect Dark. It has excellent replay value and is full of extras to unlock. We missed some classic Rare games and one or two choices could have been better.

Torchlight II is exactly the game we expected when we finished with the first game. A quantitative and qualitative jump that will delight fans of the Hack'n Slash genre, with interesting classes, great co-op and a big adventure to experience and replay. Furthermore, it offers a fantastic value for its great price.

Fantasy Life could be one of those games that you fall instantly in love with. With a lifespan that goes beyond 100+ hours of fun and thousands of different quests to accomplish, it's the first RPG and Social Life-Style game that makes us wonder if this is the righteous path to follow in upcoming years.

Treyarch archieves with Black Ops the best single player campaign in a recent Call of Duty; spectacular, memorable, well driven and with a very solid script, and wraps it with some other extras that denote special care to the solo-player. The multiplayer shines as usual, adding few new modes that blend in very well in a mode that will make the game last exciting moths. On the other hand, AI flaws, respawn patterns and the engine performance are COD's endemic sickness that need to be seriously reconsidered in the short therm or they could pull the franchise down.

Metroid Prime Trilogy turns out to be one of the greatest choices of Nintendo Wii. Three games in just one package for less than 50€ that grants more than 100h of gameplay, a stunning graphic engine and, what's more important, a literaturesque way to explain the story of Samus Aran, her beginnings and everything else. A must-have no matter what anyone says.

Counter-Strike: it´s a classic and its formula has never grown tired. Global Offensive is a really good interpretation of that formula, more refined and better executed than CS: Source in its first days, so it's in an excellent position to reinvigorate the community around this seminal title.

L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition retains the essence of the game by raising its technical level, but it has some obvious differences controlling the character or handling a vehicle. However, the game is much more immersive on its version for PC and this greatly benefits a title with a remarkable story. L.A. Noire is a must for any player... if he did not play it on Xbox630 or PS3.

Mirror's Edge is a unique platforming game, very realistic, with a very special point of view in the genre. A huge experience, very different from what we have played previously, with incredible gameplay and great atmosphere. It's the beginning of a brand new series that can provide us with many satisfactions.

Reflex is Modern Warfare at its best. It's very much the same version that we saw on PS3 and XBox 360 two years ago, but set to be played with the nunchuk and the wiimote controllers. It's graphically amazing, with an outstanding sound and the same story that we enjoyed on the original version. It's a good option to expend your money if you're looking forward to buy the best FPS of this console.
