Action. That's very much what we're going to find in Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, a good action game that offer an interesting multiplayer mode. The graphic engine's just fine, same thing with the sound and it's strange voice acting. It's an interesting game if you're looking to have some fun, but that's very much all what we're going to find in this latest film adaptation.

Holmes's back although not at his best. The new Frogwares title follows the usual trends of the genre to portray the fall and rise of a very charismatic character.

One more classic NeoGeo 2D fighting game appears for the Xbox Live Arcade, but it offers less than we expected. This is just a port from the original game that doesn’t include anything new... except for a multiplayer online mode that most times doesn’t work or makes combats run in bullet time. The original game is here, ok, but indeed the control system feels poorly adapted to the X360 pad.

Fable Fortune has too many similarities with other card games, and tries to make the difference with the Fable touch, but... It barely gets it.

Dr. Kawashima's next installment uses Kinect delivering a fresh experience with our body movements. Unfortunatelly, only twenty minigames makes it feel without depth, and in some exercises, body tracking is not accurate.

God Eater 2: Rage Burst is an Action RPG inspired by Monster Hunter formula that has a good combat system and deeper customization options. However, it has several issues in terms of graphics and audio, and has too many repetitive missions.

It's been ten years, but de Blob is still a funny and colorful game. This remaster reminds us how amusing its gameplay can be. However, de Blob for Switch doesn't solve the camera problems of the original version. Besides, it was far more surprising ten years ago, when almost all the games were brown.

The funniest game of the summer. The perfect party game. A mix between Takeshi's Castle and Ninja Warrior. It has a lot to improve on (A LOT), but if it does, it also has a bright future.

Trying to wear the heavy Sonic 2 boots, the second episode of Sonic 4 is a more pleasant gaming & visual experience than its predecessor, but it lacks that really needed charisma the title deserves. With cooperative gameplay, the inclusion of Tails brings an exploratory element that will be praised for some players, but condemned for the gamers who just want what Sonic titles supposed to be: Fun at ludicrous speed.

Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened is a correct remake of the 2007 classic, which uses the mechanics and graphics of Sherlock Holmes Chapter One to update the Frrogwares game. Unfortunately, the circumstances of the conflict in Ukraine have affected the development and ambition of the project, which is a step behind the previous title of the franchise.

Suikoden Tierkreis is not what its name suggests. It's not a Suikoden game, and it lacks the depth and charm of the original series. As a spin-off, it's interesting and rather fun, but there are several downturns: technical flaws, extremely easy combats, and a not so interesting story. The Suikoden series deserves something better.
