Outriders isn't a paradigm shift for third person shooters, but it offers an absolutely irresistible loop of action, looting and micromanagement and, although its presentation isn't at the level of other modern titles, it will always leave us wanting to continue playing.

Even with its little flaws, Monster Hunter Rise is an incredible triumph for Capcom. It really stands out as an essential game in the Nintendo Switch catalog.

If you love the Persona series, you have to play Persona 5 Strikers, and if you have never played any of these games before, but want to dive into a beautiful engaging universe, you should consider giving it a try.

It Takes Two is one of the most special games that you will play in a long time. In pandemic times when it's still difficult to meet a friend face-to-face or play side by side in an coach, there's no better cooperative experience than It Takes Two.

Lust From Beyond is another horror game with good ideas executed in a limited way because it comes from a small studio. It stands out for its concept and the game is even a surprise in several aspects. It's a complete, terrifying and varied experience that fulfills horror fans demands even when it does not bring new mechanics.

Three Kingdoms is one of the best Total War to date and Fates Divided does nothing more than improve several aspects, adding systems that simplify but at the same time make the game a bit more complex, being, perhaps, one of the most easy to recommend for those who want to start playing this franchise.

If you are looking for a horror game that makes you think, that scares you with original ideas and that makes you empathize with its characters, even when they do not say a single word, you can't miss Little Nightmares II.

Ghosts' n Goblins Resurrection is a great throwback with fresh ideas, accessibility for all types of players, and original art-book visuals. Its greatest failure are its controls since they can only be described as "frustrating".

There are many reasons why Loop Hero is an amazing game, such as the combination of different mechanics from different genres, setting up the road and your camp as if it were a strategy game, building our hero as if it were an RPG and the story, very similar in storytelling to graphic adventures of yesteryear. All of this makes a combo that everyone should enjoy.

Bravely Default's old-school influences make it quite a peculiar game. It has an excellent combat system, full of strategies and really charming characters, but the story can be very simple and the mandatory grinding moments extend the game to about 60 hours of which not all are worth it. For those who want a JRPG with modern nuancess this game may not be a big deal, but for those looking for a game like the old ones, in Bravely Default 2 they will feel at home.

Super Mario 3D World is a game that is going to receive its deserved vindication by being now on a console that does not stop selling and will probably end up ranking among the best in the series. Bowser’s Fury is an excellent addition that paints a prosperous picture of a future full of possibilities for one of the most iconic characters in the history of gaming.

You can tell that Bloober Team loves horror and The Medium has a lot of lovable details. The atmosphere and original mechanics are the strong point. But the story loses strength and even becomes confusing. This added to the excessive linearity and the chases obtuse design don't allow me to recommend it more than to true fans of the genre.

Immortals Fenyx Rising is one of the best adventures of the year, with one of the most beautiful and spectacular open worlds of the last decade, earning a place on the podium of the genre. The exploration is organic, the map is packed with activities to do, the skill tree is vast and truly useful, and the combat is some of the best I've seen in the genre.

Empire of Sin wanted to be more than it could be and, although artistically speaking it is beautiful, it fails in many of its systems or by being too simplistic in other aspects. Most likely, many of the problems will be fixed with patches and, as is customary in games published by Paradox, with an uncountable amount of DLC's and mods from the community that will not allow it to go into oblivion so quickly.

The remake of Demon's Souls is PS5's first great exclusive and it offers to a certain part of the public the possibility of enjoying a sensational experience that, probably, they had missed when it came out in 2009.

Cyerbpunk 2077 ends up being a disappointment and a shame. The general lack of polish and technical problems make it difficult to fully enjoy a fascinating universe that, behind a pile of hypersexualized posters and an advertising campaign made by a teenager with revolutionized hormones, has moments of extreme reflection, tenderness, compassion and companionship. In the future, Cyberpunk 2077 will surely be a better product, but at the moment it should not even be for sale.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity manages to be highly recommended. Even those who don't enjoy Musou games will feel rewarded by how Koei Tecmo and Omega Force managed to translate the Breath of the Wild experience into a very different genre, from the sensations of touring Hyrule and meeting their characters in a story with all the tropes of an anime, to every detai. in combat.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure doesn't reinvent anything but it does well what a 3D platformer can do well. Unfortunately, the solo experience doesn't have the same excitement as playing it in co-op. In fact, playing single player means missing the multiplayer levels. If you have someone to share it with, you are going to find an adventure that makes you smile at all times, offering lots of fun. A challenge for adults and children.

As the saying goes Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is a jack of all trades, master of none. The best moments in Valhalla are the most intimate, those that explore Eivor as a character, sitting by a campfire talking about life with one of her friends. The game has other intentions, and when it tries to tell all the possible stories, it ends up suffering.

The Pathless isn't necessarily a bad game, but it's hard to recommend. What really stands out are its puzzles and their variants, but the journey from one to the other lacks momentum. Those who have never played a similar game may find it interesting, but in general it feels a sloppy copy of previous games.

Bugsnax is a game that wants to make us feel good, that seeks to be as enjoyable as possible while still entertaining us and making us think. With mystery, humor, heart, wit and creativity, the folks at Young Horses give us one of the most special titles of this final stretch of the year and an excellent addition to the PS Plus catalog for those who own a PS5.

The biggest flaw in The Falconeer is trying to be an aerial action RPG. While this isn't going to be your type of game if you are looking for a more traditional RPG, The Falconeer invites you to disconnect and start flying without any limits, an experience that no one should miss.

Watch Dogs: Legion is undoubtedly the best of the series, the one that is closest to bringing the experience promised by that trailer of the first game. Hacks are useful and the lack of a fixed character ends up making DedSec the true protagonist and, since we recruit, control and manage the operators, in the end we end up feeling part of the resistance.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a great game at the end of the day because it understands what makes a great experience, introduces new characters to fall in love with, and tells a deep story. Miles may have a long way to go, but if there's one thing this game proves, it's that the suit isn't too big for him.

Little Hope is the game that ends up establishing The Dark Pictures Anthology as the greatest benchmark for interactive horror stories. Man of Medan took a promising first step, but this time the balance between script, acting and interactivity is perfect.
