There are many reasons why Loop Hero is an amazing game, such as the combination of different mechanics from different genres, setting up the road and your camp as if it were a strategy game, building our hero as if it were an RPG and the story, very similar in storytelling to graphic adventures of yesteryear. All of this makes a combo that everyone should enjoy.- Malditos Nerds

Bravely Default's old-school influences make it quite a peculiar game. It has an excellent combat system, full of strategies and really charming characters, but the story can be very simple and the mandatory grinding moments extend the game to about 60 hours of which not all are worth it. For those who want a JRPG with modern nuancess this game may not be a big deal, but for those looking for a game like the old ones, in Bravely Default 2 they will feel at home.- Malditos Nerds

Super Mario 3D World is a game that is going to receive its deserved vindication by being now on a console that does not stop selling and will probably end up ranking among the best in the series. Bowser’s Fury is an excellent addition that paints a prosperous picture of a future full of possibilities for one of the most iconic characters in the history of gaming.- Malditos Nerds

An 8-bit unforgettable experience that empowers the player more than several modern games, with a replayability value that is more emotional than mechanical.- Malditos Nerds

Hitman III is by far the best stealth game today and part of a true action-adventure trilogy that must be played and that everyone should enjoy.- Malditos Nerds

You can tell that Bloober Team loves horror and The Medium has a lot of lovable details. The atmosphere and original mechanics are the strong point. But the story loses strength and even becomes confusing. This added to the excessive linearity and the chases obtuse design don't allow me to recommend it more than to true fans of the genre.- Malditos Nerds

Immortals Fenyx Rising is one of the best adventures of the year, with one of the most beautiful and spectacular open worlds of the last decade, earning a place on the podium of the genre. The exploration is organic, the map is packed with activities to do, the skill tree is vast and truly useful, and the combat is some of the best I've seen in the genre.- Malditos Nerds

Empire of Sin wanted to be more than it could be and, although artistically speaking it is beautiful, it fails in many of its systems or by being too simplistic in other aspects. Most likely, many of the problems will be fixed with patches and, as is customary in games published by Paradox, with an uncountable amount of DLC's and mods from the community that will not allow it to go into oblivion so quickly.- Malditos Nerds

The remake of Demon's Souls is PS5's first great exclusive and it offers to a certain part of the public the possibility of enjoying a sensational experience that, probably, they had missed when it came out in 2009.- Malditos Nerds

Cyerbpunk 2077 ends up being a disappointment and a shame. The general lack of polish and technical problems make it difficult to fully enjoy a fascinating universe that, behind a pile of hypersexualized posters and an advertising campaign made by a teenager with revolutionized hormones, has moments of extreme reflection, tenderness, compassion and companionship. In the future, Cyberpunk 2077 will surely be a better product, but at the moment it should not even be for sale.- Malditos Nerds

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity manages to be highly recommended. Even those who don't enjoy Musou games will feel rewarded by how Koei Tecmo and Omega Force managed to translate the Breath of the Wild experience into a very different genre, from the sensations of touring Hyrule and meeting their characters in a story with all the tropes of an anime, to every detai. in combat.- Malditos Nerds

Sackboy: A Big Adventure doesn't reinvent anything but it does well what a 3D platformer can do well. Unfortunately, the solo experience doesn't have the same excitement as playing it in co-op. In fact, playing single player means missing the multiplayer levels. If you have someone to share it with, you are going to find an adventure that makes you smile at all times, offering lots of fun. A challenge for adults and children.- Malditos Nerds

As the saying goes Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is a jack of all trades, master of none. The best moments in Valhalla are the most intimate, those that explore Eivor as a character, sitting by a campfire talking about life with one of her friends. The game has other intentions, and when it tries to tell all the possible stories, it ends up suffering.- Malditos Nerds

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War lives up to the series, with a brilliant campaign and content-packed multiplayer modes, yet the online experience is overshadowed by a handful of ugly menus, few initial operators, and bland cosmetic items.- Malditos Nerds

The Pathless isn't necessarily a bad game, but it's hard to recommend. What really stands out are its puzzles and their variants, but the journey from one to the other lacks momentum. Those who have never played a similar game may find it interesting, but in general it feels a sloppy copy of previous games.- Malditos Nerds

Bugsnax is a game that wants to make us feel good, that seeks to be as enjoyable as possible while still entertaining us and making us think. With mystery, humor, heart, wit and creativity, the folks at Young Horses give us one of the most special titles of this final stretch of the year and an excellent addition to the PS Plus catalog for those who own a PS5.- Malditos Nerds

The biggest flaw in The Falconeer is trying to be an aerial action RPG. While this isn't going to be your type of game if you are looking for a more traditional RPG, The Falconeer invites you to disconnect and start flying without any limits, an experience that no one should miss.- Malditos Nerds

Watch Dogs: Legion is undoubtedly the best of the series, the one that is closest to bringing the experience promised by that trailer of the first game. Hacks are useful and the lack of a fixed character ends up making DedSec the true protagonist and, since we recruit, control and manage the operators, in the end we end up feeling part of the resistance.- Malditos Nerds

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a great game at the end of the day because it understands what makes a great experience, introduces new characters to fall in love with, and tells a deep story. Miles may have a long way to go, but if there's one thing this game proves, it's that the suit isn't too big for him.- Malditos Nerds

Little Hope is the game that ends up establishing The Dark Pictures Anthology as the greatest benchmark for interactive horror stories. Man of Medan took a promising first step, but this time the balance between script, acting and interactivity is perfect.- Malditos Nerds

Trails of Cold Steel IV is a great farewell letter to the Cold Steel franchise. If you are up to date with the series, then this chapter is a must-play: even when the ending is one of its few drawbacks, it's time to see how the story ends.- Malditos Nerds

Ikenfell is an RPG that looks simple, though it hides a much more interesting story, characters that evolve as the plot moves on, and a competent battle system. This is not a game that will blow our minds, but rather an extremely pleasant, engaging experience.- Malditos Nerds

Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 doesn't quite do enough to separate itself from other games in the kart racing genre. While we are playing, it undoubtedly feels as a competent game, but its gameplay is nothing new. Comparisons to games like Mario Kart are everywhere, and even the game's unique mechanics are not enough to elevate it.- Malditos Nerds

Disc Room is Devolver Digital’s new indie gem, developed by the same team responsible of High Hell, Heavy Bullets, and Minit. In this frantic arcade action game we must survive inside dangerous rooms full of lethal saw discs. It’s an incredibly simple concept, correctly exploited in unexpected directions.- Malditos Nerds

This definitive edition of Age of Empires III will doubly be able to get rid of the "black sheep" label. However, the changes in the interface, as well as being able to choose the HUD of the game that best suits our way of playing, alternating between the classic and the new one, changing the position of the resources and all the indicators, make this game the best version of Age III but, unfortunately, it will have to compete against the prejudices of the vast majority of fans who ignored it for so long.- Malditos Nerds

Hades is Supergiant Games’ latest production, and also their best to date. Young prince Zagreus attempts to escape from the underworld due to reasons we’ll slowly uncover as the plot evolves. He’ll be aided by the Gods of Olympus, but only our own skill will decide if we came out victorious or if we die trying, returning home to start all over again. An action Roguelike perfectly designed like no other.- Malditos Nerds

Let’s Sing Queen is a title that fulfills a very simple wish: to sing Queen songs. The game doesn't need to be much more than that, although it still feels like it lacks more songs, tributes from other bands to Queen, behind the scenes, or some kind of extra content.- Malditos Nerds
