A beautiful, open world and exhilarating parkour action just manage to cover up some irritating shortcomings in Mirror's Edge: Catalyst.- M3

Fire Emblem Warriors is a great successor to Hyrule Warriors and adds some very intuitive additions. The lack of variation with the lead characters in the cast reduces some enjoyment though.- M3

Aer: Memories of Old is not a game in which your mind and reflexes will be challenged. Nor does it offer any surprising events or intense action. Instead, it is mostly a calm experience where we are more than happy to fly around, take in environments and music - and just relax.- M3

Spyro Reignited Trilogy might be noticeably worse on Nintendo Switch compared to the other versions of the game, but the port is still mighty impressive overall. If you value portable gaming, there is nothing to consider; this is the version to get. But if you mainly plan to play on the TV and have a Playstation 4 or Xbox One, you will get a better experience on those consoles.- M3

Clubs and spears instead of firearms, and mammoths instead of cars. Far Cry Primal is a well-made and interesting take on the Far Cry formula, but in the end it just is not as good as the third and fourth installment.- M3

Still addicting like it's Wii U counterpart, and still as fun. Although we miss the bonus content from the latter the core game is still a nice puzzle game for short burst, and fits perfectly on the Switch.- M3

A port of last years Wolfenstein II to the Nintendo Switch seemed like an impossible task, but Panic Button has exceeded our expectations. Sure, there are some massive downgrades regarding the graphics, but the core gameplay is pretty much intact. The main problem is that the other versions of the game are so much better, but if you want a portable first person shooter this might be the best one yet.- M3

It’s better than its predecessor, but The Crew 2 never really reaches its potential – mainly due to some underwhelming level design and a badly written story. However, in the end, The Crew 2 is an entertaining game, and a good choice for those who are looking for a racing game with big variation.- M3

Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs is a light-hearted tactical role-playing game that is easy to learn yet challenging to complete. Even though the combat system and story could have used a bit more depths, the beautiful hand-painted graphics, well-written characters and enjoyable battles makes it is an impressive debut for the studio.- M3

L.A Noire is still a unique game, even if it has some problems. The Switch version looks great, and is overall the best way to experience this.- M3

Despite some strange and frustrating features, Need for Speed Payback gives you challenging races in a world that is surprisingly relaxing to explore. Although Forza Horizon 2 and 3 offer a similar but more refined experience, Ghost Games has included enough unique features to make their latest title feel like something more than a pale copy.- M3

With over 50 games on the roster Sega Mega Drive Classics has something for most retro fans. Granted most of the games have already been seen in older collections and the emulation is not always perfect, but the ability to quick save and especially rewind is a game changer. Even though some will call it cheating, the ability to undo mistakes makes the classic games much more accessible and enjoyable than ever before.- M3

The most definitive and complete versions yet. Although we do enjoy all the enhancements and quality of life changes to the games mechanism, it’s still reuses a lot of content from the predecessors.- M3

NHL 20 is a good hockey game that would have been even better if it had more new and brave features. EA is taking the comfortable road again this year, and frankly we're starting to get a little tired of that approach.- M3

Kingdom Come is one of the most ambitious RPGs in a long while, with lots of things to do and choices to make. Some technical issues aside – if you are into Skyrim and The Witcher 3 - it is worth a closer look.- M3

Astral Chain is a different take on Platinum Games action formula and deserves a chance if you're a fan of their previous work. Although the battles never quite reach the same level of finesse and variety as in Bayonetta, there are still a occasions in the game that come close. The interaction between our character and its Legion is the big draw, but unfortunately there are times when we are forced to fight without it. Half of the times because our Legion attacks straight on, the other half because we ourselves fumble around with the right stick. But if you have plenty of patience, Astral Chain works superbly at least until it's time for Bayonetta 3.- M3

Swedish indie developer Zoink delivers a beautiful and slow-paced platform adventure, that really feels unique. It isn't without flaws, though. The level design is a bit confusing and the control is far from perfect.- M3

Assassin's Creed Origins is gorgeous to look at and experience and mostly okay to play. The lack of interesting gameplay news is disappointing and so are the many technical bugs. However the setting of Egypt remains a a stunner throughout.- M3

Although Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers uses the same graphics from HD Remix, it’s got enough content to stand on it’s own. But we wonder why they included the atrocious Way of the Hado mini game instead of putting those resources to the main game.- M3

With several more or less notable improvements Project Cars Game of the Year Edition is a better package than the original release. Although the difference is not all that big compared to the original release, the low price point and added content makes Project Cars a great choice for people looking for a demanding and rewarding racing experience.- M3

Morrowind is a well-made but familiar extension to the Elder Scrolls Online universe. Although "more of the same" has a negative tone to it, it is hard to complain when a huge island filled with exciting adventure awaits. However, it would have been nice with an updated combat system and some new game mechanics that would bring some needed freshness to the gameplay.- M3

Mothergunship is a surprisingly entertaining game. The fast and intense combat feels rather unique, and it's impossible not to giggle like a school girl after building an excessively large lava spewing rocket launcher shotgun with an extra saw blade. Even though the graphics, level design and enemy variation could use a bit of work, it’s easy to forgive the problems and just enjoy some absurd shooting.- M3

Flawed AI and quite a bit of repetitiveness can't deny the fact that Homefront: The Revolution is still a fun, thrilling game with lots of good moments in it. The awesome weapons arsenal and great atmosphere urges us to continue liberating the streets of Philadelphia.- M3

Firewatch is an odd game, not only because it’s an indie title with no combat whatsoever. The world is so beautiful and the first hour is pure gaming magic. But in the end the story feels a bit flat. However, the artwork alone makes it worth playing.- M3

Pokkén Tournament DX is a fun fighting game that is easy to get in to. The core gameplay is more about flashy attacks than finesse, but there is still plenty of room for tactics. All in all, Pokkén Tournament DX is a good addition to the Switch library. Just do not expect many changes from the Wii U version, since it is essentially the same game.- M3

Agents of Mayhem is a gorgeous slaughterfest filled to the brim with gadgets, silly one-liners and special effects. Is it fun? Absolutely! Is it freakin' awesome? Nah. Technological glitches and a stroke of repetitiveness prevents this game from netting a place among the must-buys of 2017.- M3

Yakuza Kiwami 2 offers a unique blend that is needed in an industry where the norm otherwise follows a specific template. It does not copy other successful concepts but is instead a fusion of elements that made us love Sega classics like Shenmue, Virtua Fighter and Streets of Rage. And what other game lets you go directly from an arcade, make a stop at a karaoke bar and then on to the top of a skyscraper to fight a yakuza boss and his pet Bengali tigers?- M3

A Plague Tale: Innocence is a flawed yet thrilling adventure. While we love the characters and mostly enjoy the stealth sections and combat, the game is just too linear and limited; “walk there and do that – or die”. There is little room for exploration, no challenging puzzles and just a handful of fights that will test your skill. However, if you like the premise and don’t mind the linearity and lack of challenge, this game might still be well worth your time.- M3

When we sum up our experience with episode 3, it definitely feels better than when we played through the other parts. It all ends as usual with a strong cliffhanger that promises well for the continuation. We hope, however, that the next episode offers more action and gameplay moments with more direct control over the events.- M3
