The fifth installment in this long running and popular series is likely to split its fan base in two camps: the ones that dislike the more action oriented gameplay and those who just wanted more of the same sweet stuff they experienced in part four. Resident Evil 5 is in every aspect a natural progression from the previous installment. Updated visuals and fabulous environments do a great job of framing the intense action. The entire game has been modeled to be played in co-op, and playing through the game with a friend is truly a great gaming experience. It might be quite the leap from the first Resident Evil game, but it's an amazing experience none the less.- Level7.nu

Monument Valley is so beautiful that it will take your breath away. But it doesn't quit there. The levels, that are designed as optical illusions, is highly enjoyable and the mechanic is really impressive. Ustwo have most certainly made a bright future for themselves.- Level7.nu

Controlling Trials is minimalistically easy. It's all about speed and angle. Mastering it, on the other hand, is challenging to a point of madness. With the large amount of content and the smart online features that it has, it could have been released as a full priced title.- Level7.nu

Inside the walls of the Arkham asylum awaits not only Batman's roster of arch enemies but also a dark action adventure filled to the brim with great action sequences and a well told story wrapped in a phenomenal presentation. This is a licensed game done right and as such Batman: Arkham Asylum will appeal not only to fans of the franchise but gamers overall.- Level7.nu

It has its flaws. The table feels plastic, the career mode is way too thin and there are no alternative game modes. Except that the game is fantastic with 93 tracks and an amusing control. A music game has never got me this hooked before.- Level7.nu

The latest Assasins Creed improves much from the already great Assassins Creed 2 formula by making fighting elements more intense and fun while improving the stealth moments. The story and characters develop nicely throughout the game's progress, and it's a blast to play this rich and high-quality game and even though some small problems from the games predecessor haunts the game. It's the finest Assassins Creed yet.- Level7.nu

The successor to the critically acclaimed Batman Arkham Asylum is bigger, looks better and contains even more content in form of more villains, more riddles and more side quests then its predecessor. Though it's near perfect in almost every way, the large amount of characters included from the Batman universe paradoxically becomes a flaw as there's too many of them to present them all in a logical and deserving way. Still, Batman Arkham City is a wonderful masterpiece that should not be missed.- Level7.nu

Pillars of Eternity is not only one of the best role-playing games in a long time, it also keeps it up classics like Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale. Expect a somewhat steep learning curve but once the mechanics has settle it is difficult to put away.- Level7.nu

Reaper of Souls isn't filled with new innovative ideas but thanks to the new content, together with a most needed patch, Diablo 3 have taken a big step towards its full potential. The classic feeling of "only one more time" is stronger than ever.- Level7.nu

Forza Horizon pulls off a splendid mix of arcade racing and simulator and impresses both visually and in driving mechanics. The presentation and attitude could be better and the game really flaunts it's coming DLC packs.- Level7.nu

Control an agency with the goal of defending the earth from hostile aliens in this fantastic mix of management and strategy. A perfect example of how the integrity and legacy of a classic game can blend with modern game design.- Level7.nu

It's very easy to recommend Little Big Planet 2 to any PlayStation 3 owner. Curiously, it is not so much Media Molecule's merit. They have mainly created an excellent tool. It's the users who already have and will keep creating the masterpieces.- Level7.nu

The Witcher 3 is one of the most hyped games this spring, but it's also one of the best. CD Project Red has managed to build a huge world that is both interesting and entertaining to explore. Add to that a well-crafted combat system and good opportunities to customize your character.- Level7.nu

Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS succeeds in the art of taking the best elements from the previous installments and create a game that is just as good for the casual player as the hardcore gamer. The only real limitation comes in the form of the controls and smaller screen, but on the other hand, we have a portable Smash Bros now.- Level7.nu

Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the first sin is a package that includes far more than expected. Not only do we get one of the best game from last gen, it’s in all ways an improvement over the original version. A must-play for those who never have played Dark Souls 2 before.- Level7.nu

This year's edition is bigger than ever. It features an almost ridiculous amount of game modes and licenses, everything packaged in a nice presentation. Several systems have been rehauled as well, such as the physics engine and the AI. It's just a shame that the players still feel a bit sluggish with too extreme shots and passes.- Level7.nu

With fantastic graphics, a great atmosphere and a truly terrifying AI, Alien: Isolation succeeds is nearly everything it sets out to be. Apart from a somewhat slightly weaker second half Alien: Isolation remains a unique and brilliant experience that no fan of the survival-horror genre should miss.- Level7.nu

This War of Mine focuses on civilians rather than armed soldiers. It is extremely refreshing even though the game shows the dreadful constituents of war. With a dense atmosphere and an impressive depth, this is one of the decade's most important cultural experiences.- Level7.nu

Journey is a pure and decorticated experience where everything - music, graphics or interaction with other players - works together to form a perfect symbiosis. There are no highscores or leaderbords in Journey. There's just an uncompromising and personal adventure towards a mountain in the distance.- Level7.nu

Journey is a unique experience that has not aged at all since it was originally released on Playstation 3. On the contrary, the improved graphics makes the experience even more immersive. This is the closest we have come to the expression ”to play a painting”.- Level7.nu

Exploring a vast and devastated Russia down in the metro as well as on the surface is entertaining from the beginning to the very end. Improved graphics and other smart features such as the ability to choose how you want to tackle each play through makes this adventure well worth a revisit. Even though the human enemies more than often act dumb, there is no reason to miss out on these two unique horror/action shooters.- Level7.nu

Super Mario Maker is easily one of the best games on the Wii U, if not the best. It's so creative and so easy to learn that you will have no problem at all designing the Mario levels of your dreams, even if you are not that use to the do it yourself genre. Super Mario Maker is the game that the Wii U should have launched together with.- Level7.nu

The third installation in the Uncharted series is bombastic and looks simply amazing. The highly scripted gameplay doesn't feel as fresh as it used to and the story loses its focus about halfway in, but a surprisingly good multiplayer experience saves the grade.- Level7.nu

Boom Blox is a great puzzle game that manages to entertain with simple means. The controls are fun and intuitive enough for anyone to be able to pick up and play the game. Despite the simple gameplay it never grows old or monotonous. Add the ability to build your own levels and you get a long lasting and greatly entertaining game for you and your friends.- Level7.nu
