Is it even possible to return to the roots of isometric RPG, and not only find them healthy but create such a wonderful game from them? Obsidian has proved they could do miracles when their hands are not tied. [Issue#252]

Elden Ring is simply a game that the player naturally adapts to their own style of play. Challenging at times, vicious at others, but mostly incredibly fun. The enjoyable pace makes the hours of play pass by like water, and each path opens up a few more, only to come together again after a fair amount of exploration before the next big reveal. Great RPG depends mainly on the conversations and colorful bizarre world into which it takes you …while it is not focused on combat and other traditional elements. [Issue#273]

If you liked the first one, you'll like the second one even more. Although it's not as novel the second time around, it's much smoother, more fluid and enjoyable, plus you get most of the essential abilities right from the start. So you are a fragile god of death right from the start and can have a great time from the opening minutes. [Issue#331]

The game world looks fairy-tale beautiful and at the same time sufficiently adult and dark. The traversal of the world is then supplemented by small environmental puzzles. It's more of a diversion, nothing that would fundamentally break the game and cause one to get stuck on annoying puzzles while playing. The number of secondary activities is not overwhelming, which is very beneficial to the game's pace. [Issue#331]

It doesn't matter that the second Spider-Man doesn't really move the gameplay forward and offers, with a few variations, just another helping of what worked in the previous two games. But in this case, we're really talking about excellence, so any experimentation and novelty could lead to disappointment. [Issue#331]

Large-scale story of Xenoblade Chronicles will draw you into a huge world naturally, where boredom has no place and you’ll spend there several hours of a game time with love. This one is a must-have, and not only for fans of JRPG games. [Issue#252]

An ingenious game in a simple, effective package, which at first glance looks like a relaxed game, but as a result will squeeze even the last drop of your organizational and managerial skills before you disgracefully capitulate.

Even if you have never heard of the legendary board game Gloomhaven, you should not miss its digital adaptation. If you enjoy ingenious turn-based strategies and dark fantasy, Gloomhaven is the game for you. In addition, thanks to multiplayer, you don't have to go on dangerous expeditions alone, and thanks to the support of creating new scenarios, the game offers an endless number of adventures and rotten dungeons.

The strongest aspect of Alan Wake II is the fantastic story, underscored by great live action sequences, where suspenseful situations are interspersed with absurd, almost psychedelic scenes that seem as if they came out of David Lynch's mind, and you don't know whether to be scared, laugh or just stare. The level design is as imaginative as always and like it's never been before. No one in the world can replicate this. The current title benefits from moving to the Flower Kingdom, where all of the main six hubs and dozens of levels have different rules than in previous games. Got a Switch? Get Super Mario Bros. Wonder. [Issue#331]

The excellent story campaign, which is an audiovisual feast, can now be played on a higher difficulty level. This is challenging enough for even experienced players, but never frustrating. For those interested in getting into the raid early, it's also a welcome way to avoid a lengthy grind in the pursuit of a desired level. [Issue#318]

The Survivor artists have captured the aesthetic of Episodes I-VI so compellingly that the distant planets will engulf you like a sarlacc. At the same time, the writers reflect the reality of the Star Wars animated and live-action series, reaching back to the ancient era of the High Republic. Everything blends into one in Survivor. It represents the best that Star Wars gaming can currently give. [Issue#327]

The action moves at a pleasantly fast pace. The furious jumble of pixels is one of the highlights of the whole game, especially with the help of the imaginative design. Content-wise, the game is virtually impossible to fault. Moreover, most of the campaign parameters are randomly generated, including the spells. Thus, no new game is exactly the same, thanks to the variety of game scenarios. [Issue#318]

The gameplay is extremely varied thanks to the objectives in each battle, the solutions to the battles are always numerous and resemble more of a tactical puzzle. Even if you dislike the anime stylization of the story, the characters, or the general sauce around them, both games are excellent tactical strategies in the style of Battle Isle, and indeed the original Wars series from which Advance Wars sprang. You are not bound by fantasy stereotypes or archetypes, and can thus create often very bizarre combinations of races and their elements. It's a brilliantly done system, and one on which the authors will be able to build all their major or minor DLC for a few more years if sales are good. In an age of games as services, one couldn't ask for more from a solid strategy game. [Issue#327]

The game is fun to play, the combat is fun, the plot is fine, the twists are unpredictable, it’s functionally consistent (it can be used as a gallery of good practice examples when teaching game design), and it beats like a well-stitched heart made of several mammals inserted into a robot with a human head and an endless sense of humor. The game has great controls. Everything is clearly visible, despite the brutal turmoil all around. A harsh critic might be able to point out the lack of a map, but the question is whether the lack of the ability to get your bearings quickly wasn't an intended part of the dark game. And if the blood, madness and tentacles weren't enough, you can jump into Endless mode and experience it all again, and even more directly! [Issue#320]
