What works is that there isn't any resource collecting and you are free to pursue your warpath just don't expect to get pulled in by the rather sleepy story.

The Simpsons Game is yet another lackluster licensed game. The difference is that this lackluster licensed game has The Simpsons writers and voice cast behind it, meaning that the humor and atmosphere in the game outright nails the source material.

All in all, Prison Break: The Conspiracy is an okay game that doesn't do all that much to differentiate itself from other television/movie-based tie-ins.

Mortal Kombat II can't hold its own in today's market like some titles from the Golden-Age of gaming. The nostalgia runs high with the digitized sprites of the fighters and the color swaps of costumes to make three fighters out of one (Reptile, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero) but it won't last long.

Gyrostarr would be great fun as part of a larger, more elaborate arcade-style space shooter set free from WiiWare limitations, but on its own the total package falls short of enjoyment and expectations.

Rogue Agent doesn't just feel like it should be better, it yearns for it. It is so close to being a good game, but just falls short in every major category of gameplay.

G-Force is fairly paint-by-numbers. When this game hits the target audience, kids playing this are likely to be hooked by the smooth gameplay and lengthy missions.

The drawings you create make the game's name ring true and brings life to the game that is mostly a story. The levels are over in the blink of an eye and feel like stop gaps for telling the story.

The problem with Link's Crossbow Training is unusual. It's not that it's a bad game. Instead, it's that there's just not enough to it.

The gameplay has neat ideas, but the controls, that keep you at a long distance, are what ultimately hurt Bladestorm.

The gameplay moments in Mafia II are forgettable with action that has been seen and done hundreds of times over.

Tales of Symphonia 2: Dawn of the New World has a great battle system, voice-acting, and nice new elements like the monster gathering. Unfortunately, the linear story, dull characters, lack of exploration and mediocre graphics hold back the experience.

Space Oddity is worth a look for the fantastic implementation of motion controls. It is great to see they nailed the core control and gameplay mechanics but it was disappointing to see some basic things such as the visuals and worthless modes fell through the cracks.

There are going to be gamers that will devour this game and relish how this brand new adventure feels like a ported title from the 16-bit era and some more discerning RPG gamers will lament the fact that some polish and fine tuning weren't completed in time for the final product.
