Record of Agarest War is the very reason Japanese game development is accused of stagnation, and the sleazy marketing doesn't lend the game any credence. This is not 1998.- Kombo

The game is a RPG but that can't excuse it for featuring poor shooting mechanics since it was obviously an area of gameplay the developers wanted to include.- Kombo

Paying $8.00 (800 DSi points) for a badly pixelated and poorly executed game is never a good idea, no matter how great the nostalgia is.- Kombo

Mini Ninjas for the DS has its good moments, but it has a lot more bad ones. Every once in a while you're handed a fun platforming segment, but more often you're thrown into repetitive fights with the same boring enemies you've been fighting the whole game.- Kombo

If you're a true hardcore Sonic fan, give the game a rental and enjoy the day stages. Otherwise, don't bother.- Kombo

To anyone with the ability to read and even a small English vocabulary, this game is going to become boring in a few minutes. The lack of multiplayer hurts, too, but not as much as the $10 price point.- Kombo

There isn't much use trying to analyze the content in this combo pack of games. It feels so far removed from the arcade roots that it would be hard to believe that these were once a bonafied exhilarating arcade experience. The only saving grace is the $30 price point, which is essentially the price of two downloadable game titles. Still, without the smoke and mirrors of a busy arcade, this pack of games shows how shallow they are at the core.- Kombo

In theory, the world needs another beat-'em-up game, however, the world doesn't need Tokyo Beat Down. Anytime spent with Beat Down will feel more like a novelty rather than something you have to experience.- Kombo

Do not buy this game. If you're craving a movie trivia game, try one of the older Scene It titles or look into a new genre. There is really nothing here that you can't find elsewhere in a more complete and enjoyable package. Believe me, the announcer will drive you nuts.- Kombo

Conquest is very uncharacteristic of what Pandemic is capable of. Playing through Conquest, it was surprising to see the attention to detail in the visual department and the failure to execute in creating a smooth experience juxtaposed in the same game.- Kombo

It just goes to show that high concept ideas don't always materialize the way they look on paper. If you have a thing for games barely sewn together at the seams, inner monologues and lots of filler you might be able enjoy Flower, Sun and Rain. Might.- Kombo

Loyal subscribers to the online game might find this side story charming, but a gamer coming to this world without any prior knowledge of the online world it stems from will likely miss the point.- Kombo

Transformers movie was such a good set up for a video game, unfortunately it has gone through the same transition other movie video games have seen, and sadly this is one of the worst and shortest experiences any fan will incur.- Kombo

Super Hero Squad does a lot of the small things right, sacrificing some larger issues that should have been addressed. It is backwards game design in that regard since mechanics like combat and super powers needed to be adjusted along with fixing the camera trailing the heroes.- Kombo

It is hard to tell what the purpose of Judgment was, and how it would further increase the franchise's legacy. Yes, there is one interesting thing, but it is buried underneath a subpar game. It is hard to recommend this one.- Kombo

Neighborhood Games doesn't stand out from the crowded field of mini-game compilations. It misses the simple elegance of Wii Sports by a mile and tries to cover it for it by throwing more at you. That "more" isn't better and will only be a fun diversion for a few plays until it sets in that better options are available.- Kombo

Zathura unfortunately adds to the ever growing list of bad games based on children's films. This is rather sad because I believe given time, a decent budget, and a talented development team, the story of Zathura could make a good game.- Kombo

Stormrise is caulk full of good ideas that don't amount to much. RTS innovations alone can't save Stormrise because thinking great thoughts doesn't always equate to a good game. Any redeeming factor is marred by sloppy construction and ideas that sound much better on paper.- Kombo
