A true gem.

A constant reminder to us of Napoleon's famous maxim – “It is but a step from the sublime to the ridiculous.” The game manages its share of both in a riot of action.

With a few changes, an interesting story, and a great presentation, Soul Reaver 2 carries on much of the same greatness of the original.

In the list of Diablo clones – which includes the likes of Dungeon Siege, Revenant, and Nox – it ends up near the bottom for the simple reason that it lacks soul.

A spectacular experience, not an intellectual one. Do not search for subtleties here or in-depth plots here – this is not a game that will win awards for its storyline or richness of character.

The communitiy is huge, the forums helpful, and there are no hunts for ennemies around a barren wasteland.

Persona 2 is a large game. With a lengthy main quest, plenty of side quests, replay incentives, and even a bonus dungeon available from cleared data, there's no shortage of things to do and discover.

This is a game to be played for hours on end. And if you can find me a hack that allows me to save the game whenever I wish, I will recommend you for a Knighthood!

Hitman: Codename 47 does deliver a fair deal of excitement and suspense. The mysterious assassin, the stress on stealth, and a decent narrative make it well worth playing.

A great example of how less-than-smooth gameplay can plague even the most interesting plot. Better design could have made this a classic. It is a tribute to just how well the story is woven that I kept hammering away at it, even while cursing the flaws and giggling at the funny combat sequences.

With an exciting story, unique gameplay, and excellent presentation, you can't go wrong with Soul Reaver.

I would have to say the single feature that most caught my attention would have to be the emotional points. Started in the original Star Ocean game, it has been honed and perfected in the sequel (I am told it's better in the next in the series).

All said, the nasty, evil puzzles gave me a terrible impression while struggling through the games mid-section, but the last chapter and the game's humor saved it from a dismal grade.

A little slow at times, and it's one of the harder Playstation games I can think of. Along with the linearity of the game, these features may turn a lot of gamers away from Parasite Eve before it's been given a fair chance...[But w]ith groundbreaking graphics and a great style of gameplay, Parasite Eve has become a classic that no RPG fan should be without.

This is one of the few games that actually perks one’s spirits up when they are a bit on the lower side. I simply cannot recommend it enough.

One of the best games available for the original PlayStation. With all of the new features available, Symphony of the Night is very different from the previous games in the Castlevania series, but it also stands out as one of the best.
