There are a large number of sidequests, which is fitting, but the majority of them actually depend on utilising the WiFi system of the DS.

Even though it is a beautiful game, the actual gameplay is somewhat hampered by repetitive combat, a difficult camera, and lack of exploration.

If you’re dying to play a game like this, then EA’s Lord of the Rings games are very similar and far superior. And if you’re a die hard Eragon fan, then go with the GBA version instead and you’ll be a lot happier.

The Nintendo DS version of Eragon has its share of flaws. If you are a hardcore fan of the book or the movie, then you might be able to find some enjoyment out of the game, but anyone else may want to steer clear of this one or perhaps try one of the other versions.

It’s a must play for any Civil War-loving gamers out there, and a decent rental for anyone curious to experience a war game from a war other than World War II for a change.

From the creation of potions to the combo attacks, Eragon offers a surprising amount of depth that will please any RPG fan.

While the voice acting isn’t exactly awful, it is a bit disappointing. On the other hand, the score throughout the game is done very well and helps create an entire epic feeling, which fits well with the game.

It’s unique, perfect for gamers of all ages, and most important of all, it’s a lot of fun!

If you are looking for a radically new and innovative gaming experience, steer clear of Neverwinter Nights 2. This is very much like a second helping of Neverwinter Nights, albeit a tad longer and more complex. Which, come to think of it, ain’t such a bad thing after all.

If you enjoyed the first game, then you will more than likely enjoy its sequel.

While Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner - Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army is an overall solid game, fans of the series might be a little disappointed with the lighthearted story and mediocre action-oriented combat.

The game features some really good concepts, but much of these could be easily overlooked because of the load times and slow-down.

Although it is not quite up to par with Zelda, it certainly is in a category of its own. It has a true sense of art and unique style, will captivate many players, and will make a sequel a must.

One of the most unique games to hit all the systems. Aside from not being very long, everything else in the game works wonders, whether it be the soundtrack, graphics, or controls.

Even though the characters aren’t quite as interesting as those seen in the original, Disgaea 2 remains one of the best strategy-RPGs out there.

Summon Night: Swordcraft Story is not the greatest RPG on the Game Boy Advance by any means. Its story is trite, the characters are generally archetypes, the graphics are dated and the audio is bland.

While Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth has a few minor flaws with save points, new additions and so on, it arguably could be the best RPG for the PSP.

The quality of the voice work ranges from good to poor, with the main character being one of the worst and most annoying.

One of the nicest things about the game is the fact that players will be able to play co-op with another individual.

The graphics are definitely dated, and look more similar to an early PlayStation 2 game, but as it is a value title, one can look past some of these graphical flaws.

Easily one of the biggest problems with Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest is the fact that the game is way too short. The game can easily be completed in less than six hours of playtime, and there really is no reason for a replay, either-- no unlockables or anything.

The game continues to share many of the same flaws as the original, but the long quest and the improved translation certainly help.

Even though the game has its fare share of flaws (such as the slow-down I repeatedly mentioned), it also has several strong points that can easily make it a fun experience.

Lemmings on the PSP continues to be that fun puzzle game that we all enjoyed years ago. It might have been nice to see some new abilities and more new stages, but with some excellent sound, good graphics, and the addition of a level creator, Lemmings looks to bring an entirely new generation of fans to the series.

When it comes down to it, X-Men: The Official Game is exactly what you'd expect out of a game based on a movie... extra story for fans, flashy graphics and good voice acting, but shallow gameplay and a short playthrough time.
