Beat the Beat : Rhythm Paradise is as great as its big brother on DS used to be with its colorful universe and its good game length. It can proudly appears among the Wii titles you really need to get, offering an intuitive gameplay based on the use of only two buttons that manages to share its insolent groove to any player. A game that can also count on the presence of a new multiplayer mode, interesting and yet not really essential.- JeuxActu

To fully appreciate Ratchet & Clank Trilogy, players really need to be huge fans of the IP, and espacially of the first three episodes released on PS2. If playing them remains a pleasure, this HD remake won't be a big surprise for those who were waiting for major graphical improvements.- JeuxActu

Another year, another Pro Cycling Manager, but still no big improvement in this 2012 edition. Cyanide may have been focused ont other projects and, as a result, the game isn't very different from last year's game. Graphics are slightly better and the Season Planner is finally a pretty good tool. But at the end of the day, players who already have PCM 2011 will need to think hard before splashing some cash in this new edition.- JeuxActu

Unfinished and yet terribly ambitious, The Secret World stirs up a hornets' nest among the MMORPG titles. Its fantastic and modern universe does not bother introducing the usual elves and dwarves, and offers a great graphic experience. Moreover, by introducing investigation side quests we could find in the game In Memoriam, the title moves us away from the traditional fight sequences against monsters.- JeuxActu

Hiding behind features taken from many titles such as Pure or Sega Rally, Mad Riders doesn't appear as a strong competitor on the market, lacking an identity. If the main campaign proposes a good challenge, yet not really difficult, the multiplayer mode offers a disastrous experience with its invisible online communty and a split-screen fonction clearly missing. Mad Riders is fun for a few laps but don't expect to play it all night.- JeuxActu

The first hack'n'slash game on 3DS, Heroes of Ruin can easily be forgotten. With its cheap graphics, and its universe and narration lacking of originality, the title developed by n-Space won't represent this kind of game that hardly finds success on handheld devices. Some players could play Heroes of Ruin to train themself, but only if they have enough money to spend.- JeuxActu

The Amazing Spider-Man clearly has many qualities such as dynamic fighting sequences and nervous animations that visually transcribe perfectly the way Spider-Man moves. Moreover, its sandbow world will occupy the players for hours with a lot of sidequests to do. And yet, its cheap graphics, its boring scenario and old-school animations, prevent us from saying that The Amazing-Man is one of a kind.- JeuxActu

You liked Portal ? Then you'll like Quantum Conundrum. It's impossible not to compare the two title as they have so many similarities in terms of narration and gameplay. Of course, the players won't be as surprised as they were with Valve's title, but surely they will spend some good times as well. Playing with dimensions is something easy to learn and it's a real pleasure to solve the many puzzles the game has to offer. And for a low price, there is no reason not to be tempted.- JeuxActu

Honestly, London 2012 - The Official Video Game of the Olympic Games is not the blockbuster you were waiting for. This feeling is justified by bad graphics and gameplay mechanics that won't help players breaking records. So what's good in the gam ? Some events are fun to play and a pretty good game lengh could offer an interesting experience. However, after Beijing, we were clearly hoping for something better.- JeuxActu

Spec Ops The Line is a good TPS whose lack of originality regarding its gameplay mechanics can be easliy criticized. And yet, the title offers a great experience, depicting a bright and apocalyptic vision of Dubaï, just as if players were there. The mise-en-scène of Spec Ops The Line also manages to share, both psychologically and physically, the craziness experienced by our heroes. Finally, the classic multiplayer modes make us forget the short time needed to finish the main campaign.- JeuxActu

As a DC Comics crossover game, LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is quiet fun to play like the previous title of the IP developed by TT Games. Even if the usual weaknesses remain, the title brings interesting features like full dialogues that offer a pleasant experience in the series, sometimes to the detriment of humor. Finally, the open-world universe lets players discover Gotham City, LEGO-style, despite some problems with camera positions and characters that happen to be stuck into walls.- JeuxActu

Certainly, DiRT Showdown is not the best racing game of 2012. However, Codemasters proves it knows how to develop a good one. If there's nothing bad to say regarding its content, choices in terms of gameplay can be questioned. indeed, some good ol' drivers could easily fall asleep whereas newcomers will enjoy the spectacular races DiRT Showdown has to offer, introducing a new social network, Racenet, to the multiplayer mode.- JeuxActu

Gods & Kings finally brings back the concept of religion into the IP that the previous title had dropped. It also offers new interesting features such as espionage, some modifications regarding its combat system, and introduces new civilizations and three specific scenarios. A new content that doesn't change anything in terms of gameplay, only proposing features that could have been in the original game. If it doesn't bother you, then it will be easy for you to play Civilization for hours!- JeuxActu

In the same vein as Atelier Rorona and Atelier Totori, Atelier Meruru is a logical conclusion for the Alchemist of Arland serial. The game manages to develop some new things, but can't succeed to cure itself of many many flaws. Cute but totally vacuous, Atelier Meruru : The Apprentice of Arland don't know how to tell a good story. With a poor combat system and a lazy rythm, it seem already an old fellow.- JeuxActu

Resistance Burning Skies is the first FPS on PS Vita to use the game controls of an handheld device successfully, despite not being as good as Uncharted Golden Abyss or WipEout 2048 in terms of quality. The IP would have been better if the developers proposed more innovations as regards the level design, but the principal elements of the Resistance franchise have not been forgotten, espcially its multiplayer mode. For its first entry on PS Vita, Resistance Burning Skies copes pretty well.- JeuxActu

Gravity Rush allows players to alter gravity in order to reach any places, with heroine's head upside down. With Max Payne 3, Rockstar Games proves that the studio masters the action-type game in the most brilliant way, despite Max Payne 3 not being an open-world title. If there were no doubts about narration, the gameplay system also remains very atttractive thanks to the perfect introduction of the bullet time and the Shootdodge abilities, two strong aspects players are already familiar with. Rockstar Games offers a great experience, full of details, and depicts an amazing trip through Brazil and its favelas. A masterpiece at which Rockstar Games excels, introducing a tortured character whose adventures will surely give you the chills!- JeuxActu

Casual players won't clearly be amazed by the graphics offered by Game of Thrones. As regards the RPG players, the ones that could spend entire nights playing, they will be happy to find intuitive game mechanics. The tactical aspects of fight sequences are also really enjoyable to learn and the players' choice are well-embedded in the story, faithful to the saga. This is what truly matters.- JeuxActu

With Sorcery, the PS Move comes back to life, offering a diversified gameplay. Despite some minor problems, the title remains entertaining thanks to the great use of the PS Move controller and a thrilling adventure. Sorcery is not the best game of 2012 on PS3 for sure, but from now on, players have good reasons to get the PS Move out of the drawer.- JeuxActu

Rune Factory surely has some qualities with its long game experience and its colorful and aquatic universe that players will enjoy crossing thanks to the introduction of the Golem. However, the ones that usely play the IP to satisfy their farmer spirit, will be disappointed to see that all the hard work has been given to the mobs, the players' role consisting in checking if they have enough cookies to eat. Hopefully, fight sequences remain entertaining, yet repetitive.- JeuxActu

Brand-new Capcom's IP, Dragon's Dogma is a kind of super Monster Hunter in a Medieval-Fantasy world. Grounded on titanic fights, this game works very well on this specific point. With its open world and its large landscapes, Dragon's Dogma seems to be a great adventure. It's true in a way, but some problems prevent it to be a brilliant game. Especially technicals flaws and the poor pawn's AI.- JeuxActu

Like any title starring the famous plumber, Mario Tennis Open gathers all the impressive bases set by Nintendo. The absence of an RPG mode that fans were waiting for, will be difficult for Big N to explain, as much as the online features that only propose classic meetings to enjoy with friends. However, these minor problems are not enough to forget how good the gameplay is compared to the Gamecube version of the IP, Mario Tennis Open offering strictly the best. A newcomer Nintendo can easily rely on.- JeuxActu

Future Soldier is the title that will reconcile players with the tactical origins of Ubisoft's IP thanks to intuitive game controls, useful gadgets and a well-balanced difficulty. The main campaign offers a breathless experience through ten dynamic missions, while the multiplayer remains entertaining despite its different game modes lacking in originality. The future of the tactical shooter is definitely preserved with Ghost Recon Future Soldier.- JeuxActu

A huge surprise two years ago on PC, Minecraft remains astonishing on Xbox 360, especially for new players. Actually, this version of Mojang's masterpiece takes off some elements to become a more accessible game. From now on, the crafting is simplified and all the latest enhancements on PC are unfortunately absent. But, thanks to its enormous open world and its brilliant gameplay, Minecraft is still a must have.- JeuxActu

Don't be fooled. Unveiled as a retro game, FEZ is a breath of fresh air. Inspired by a lot of 80s games, FEZ is both a platform and puzzle-game that will enchant the players, thanks to its beautiful design, its ingenious riddles, and the perfect use of 2D and 3D graphics. Despite some frame-rate issues, surely FEZ is a game that you need to add to your digital game library.- JeuxActu

UEFA Euro 2012 is an excellent soccer game, especially for players that already bought FIFA 12, giving them the chance to spend only twenty dollars to get it. For the others, the need to buy FIFA 12 to enjoy it, will make the argument more difficult to make. The few imperfections are not easy to forget, considering the fact this kind of players have to pay a lot more to play UEFA Euro 2012. Still, it remains a good game as a FIFA 12 in disguise.- JeuxActu

TERA is not a game that will revolutionize the MMORPG world, offering repetitive and boring quests. However, its battle system, taking a page out of action titles, happens to propose a more dynamic and interesting gameplay that MMORPG commonly offer on the market. For the first time, the ability to aim and move play a part in TERA, and the beauty of its graphics and its charming universe can be considered as strong points, which is not alwalys the case in titles like this.- JeuxActu

As the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, Mortal Kombat PS Vita is one of the funniest versus fighting games of Sony's console. If you like bloody battles and fatalities, this reboot of the franchise will keep you awake for a long time.
