If we thought that Generation Zero's Concept was worthy, we made a big mistake as nothing makes us want to play this game apart from the nice graphics and the tense atmosphere. Everything else is a true mess, from the repetitive action to the truckloads of bugs.

With Yoshi's Crafted World, Good-Feel Studios gives us a game that definitely feels good with a very clever level-design and a great variety of places to explore. Keep in mind that the game is tailored for kids, and offers quite an easy challenge.

As powerful as Dark Souls and Bloodborne, Sekiro demonstrates once again all OF FromSoftware's talent. With an unparalleled artistic direction and an ingenious fighting system, it is clearly one of the best games of the moment.

With six studios collaborating, The Division 2 is a blockbuster that builds itself upon the strengths of its predecessor. The game offers good gameplay, decent AI, and loads of content which is a good thing for power players. The game still lacks some soul and feels repetitive after a while.

Devil May Cry 5 has some real flaws, but the awesome gameplay, underlined by its lovely graphics, and the fan-service that's displayed all around, makes it one of the great games of 2019. A must-have for beat'em all fans.

Dead Or Alive 6 is still a very good fighting game which allows instant fun, even for a novice player, but you'll need serious skills to defeat a seasoned player. We only regret long, loading times and a weird storyline.

DiRT Rally 2.0 is still the benchmark in terms of rallying simulation, but we regret that Codemasters has made the choice to sell as DLC content that was previously available in the first iteration of the game.

Degrees of Separation shows a great potential, but the platformer suffers from an antique gameplay which feels wrong, whether you're playing solo or in coop.

Trials Rising is maybe the best game of the IP thanks to its social aspects, and it's easy to learn hard to master gameplay. We would have loved fewer microtransactions for the customization.

Since we played Jump Force at E3 2018, we knew it would be a bad game, but we couldn't have guessed it would be so messed up. The game is technically obsolete, the art direction is awful and the gameplay is limited. As for the single player campaign, it will disgust you for good.

Anthem feels a bit award as a Bioware studio game because the narrative is clearly something that wasn't given priority, to the benefit of combat and exploration. The game still needs more content to live up to the promise made by a publisher as big as EA.

Sadly, Crackdown 3 falls short of expectations, and there isn't much to save here. With sky-high ambitions, the game doesn't deliver much more than a load of fun action, wrapped into a severely outdated outfit.

Ubisoft has to be careful not to exploit the Far Cry franchise too much. New Dawn is an intermediate Far Cry, which will satisfy the fans waiting for the next major part, but it's nothing exceptional. Nice to play, but clearly not a must-have.

After two game spent in the tunnels of the Metro, Metro Exodus brings us to the semi-open world of mainland Russia and does away with the traditional linearity, at the expense of a drop in the overall rhythm. And don't worry, the game is still a graphics benchmark.

While God Eater 3 offers a worthy alternative to Monster Hunter thanks to the epic hunting, and a more forgiving gameplay, players will have to do with a dated technical side of things inherited from the times when the IP was exclusive to handheld machines.

The King's Bird tries to be Gris, but the poetic aspect is ruined by a lack of accuracy in the gameplay, a weird way to unfold the story and huge peaks in difficulty.

Borderlands 2 VR is a good game in VR, which increases a lot the immersive potential of the game. On the other hand, this version is sold without any of the previous DLCs and does not support multiplayer. A shame for a game that's a must on coop.

Gathering Storm is a very good expansion that highly enriches the endgame by adding the global warming issue, and asking the player to deal with it.

The Hong Kong Massacre is a somewhat generic top-down shooter game that's aimed at scoring, as the narrative is pretty bleak, while the action is very repetitive. The only defining feature are the bullet-t-ime and dives that the hero can perform.

Like Sony with Shadow of the Colossus, Capcom gives us a wonderful remake with Resident Evil 2. A game that knows how to keep the original DNA of the franchise while modernizing other aspects. Surely a very good survival horror game and a must-buy for 2019.

Yes, Onimusha is an old game, and to be honest it shows a lot with fixed cameras and a very rigid gameplay. On the other hand it's still a game to be highly recommend if you haven't done it yet, and if you can cope with the PS2 era technical side of things.

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes still retains the talent of Suda 51 and it's esthetics, but if you're not a fan of his, you'll find the game rather boring - without mentioning the 4/3 aspect ratio during gameplay.

Yet another port with New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe which is a straight port from the Wii u to the Switch with a resolution going from 720p to 1080p and a bit more content like the Luigi spin off and the addition of Peachette and Nabbit. As usual with re-releases, check it if you haven't yet.
