A huge surprise two years ago on PC, Minecraft remains astonishing on Xbox 360, especially for new players. Actually, this version of Mojang's masterpiece takes off some elements to become a more accessible game. From now on, the crafting is simplified and all the latest enhancements on PC are unfortunately absent. But, thanks to its enormous open world and its brilliant gameplay, Minecraft is still a must have.

Project CARS 2 is clearly on the best racing games money can buy, even though it's not the best sim on the market. With a very generous content and lovely visuals, the game mainly suffers from a lot of bugs.

SuperHOT is one of the best FPS 2016 will spawn without a doubt. With its innovative gameplay, it's one of the most addictive games we've played. It only lacks the possibility to rebind keys, too bad for AZERTY keyboards users, but only the french will complain.

For its first arrival on Nintendo 3DS, Professor Layton's series is fairly shy. Except from an all new engine and a really good 3D effect, the game's core is still the same. Layton walk around in Dorémont or his childhood village to resolve more than 150 riddles with his sidekicks Emmy and Luke in present tilmes, while Randall act in the past. Two interesting storylines which further a great sense of immersion. Effective and straightforward, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask is a really nice gaming experience, despite its lack of freshness.

Pinball Arcade is a very good exclusive title for PS4 and at the same time the best pinball game we've seen for years. With 22 playfields (and 35 others to come) amongst the best, you've a huge content at your disposal. Furthermore, the Farsight game successfully retranscripts the sensations, visuals and noises of all those playfields of the past. Old-school.

If you ABSOLUTELY want to play any Borderlands game on your new console and you have no other platform available, then you may consider The Handsome Collection as an option. Otherwise, grab the three games on PC or PS3/Xbox 360 for half the price of this expensive compilation.

F1 2016 is back in good shape, with a brand new career mode, and a clever way to spend times during the practice sessions. We only mourn the lack of classic cars and tracks, and the graphics engine that shows its age.

Donkey Kong Adventure is a very good add-on to the original Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle which provides plenty of fun. The XCOM-lite formula works well and you'll need a good 10h of play to get thru this DLC. A very decent offer indeed.

PES 2015 is finally the episode we were waiting for : the one which gives hope to the fans. The game is visually uneven and Konami has still work to do on the collisions but it's a real good football game. And THAT is really new.

In the beautiful world of Mario Kart's clones, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is a surprising copy. In spite of an awful first episode, SEGA's new title manages to be efficient in many ways, gameplay related especially. Lovely, with a good sense of speed, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed get in the exclusive club of good and fun racing games. So, it's a shame that Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed lacks originality.

With a very solid gameplay, the ability to play coop with up to 4 players and pretty nice pixel art visuals, Children of Morta is a very good rogue-like that should appeal to every gamer.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars is a bundle that brings together the best of Nintendo's 3D platformers, and as such, is quite impressive, but the port feels a bit lazy, with few-to-no improvements, and a premium price tag that can be quite a turn-off.

Playing Warhammer Space Marine 2 right after the massive open world of Star Wars Outlaws and the mental load that was Black Myth Wukong is certainly the best thing that happened to us this fall 2024. Not only does the game offer a bloody spectacle where you feel like you're controlling a bulldozer that tears everything in its path, Warhammer Space Marine 2 also offers us a return to basic pleasures that we had terribly missed. And buyers of single-player games should not be mistaken, Warhammer Space Marine 2 is above all a game made for multiplayer, the campaign being only the pretty candy, certainly tasty, but in the coating is more attractive than its content. A fairly basic straight line, with the added bonus of a level design that is not very sophisticated and in which we only shoot the same enemies, the bestiary being extremely poor. Likewise, this structure of "I press a button to either open a door or activate a freight elevator" is also likely to bore you greatly. There is therefore a feeling of repetitiveness that disappears immediately as soon as you move on to PvE and PvP, since the war then takes on a different flavor. For the launch, the content is also a little stingy, but the devs have promised a robust roadmap for at least the first year. And when you see all the love they put into their game, you can only take their word for it.

While Hitman 2 uses most of its predecessor's mechanics, it also carries over its strong points (replayability, freedom, and a solid gameplay) but also all the drawbacks like the dated graphics engine, or the cut-scenes made out of slideshows.

Going from innocence to requiem, A Plague Tale brings a very beautiful conclusion to an adventure that will remain in our memories. This second installment reinforces the eternal bond between Hugo and Amicia, increases the number of rats displayed on the screen tenfold, enriches its combat system, introduces interesting new characters, and moves up a gear.

Mortal Kombat 11 is a very solid new iteration in the series that does change quite a lot in the gameplay, favouring a more strategic approach. The game is still filled with content, and an instant fun, and the best looking fighting game out there. Really a no-brainer.

If Konami still needs to learn some things from FIFA, PES 2013 is clearly heading the right way. However, at this time, PES 2013 doesn't have the necessary keys to offer a gaming experience as complete as Electronic Arts' IP, especially regarding the graphic aspects. The next title, coming to the next-gen consoles, should be able to counter FIFA success, if Konami remains hardworking.

Like the first épisode, Little Nightmares 2 plays on childhood fears to distill a particularly unhealthy and disturbing atmosphere. If the gameplay goes better with the arrival of a companion, the handling remains unfortunately perfectible. Not enough to sulk our pleasure, this little adventure remains both charming and scary.

Child of Light is beautiful, amazing, poetic, deeper than you think on several points and cheap. This game is a fresh breeze as well as a mastered project. It may look like a childish title, but it's not, even if it can talk to your inner 5-year-old girl/boy. If you're an RPG lover, go for it. If you're an indie lover, go for it. If you're just a player, go for it.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is very close to Dear Esther, to Twin Peaks in the atmosphere, but it offers real gameplay, something fresh and new for this style of game. The first-person view and the freedom given to the player assist relatively simple but always rewarding puzzles. Above all, we can only assess the very high quality of the graphics and the talented artistic direction. OK, it's not very long to play, but it's not very expensive either, so there's no reason to ignore it.

There is absolutely no bad idea among the new ones included in Soul Sacrifice Delta. A more developed background, a deeper universe still well-served by the exceptional narration of the first episode; new factions that modify your game; a larger content: no doubt, Soul Sacrifice Delta is something you must have if you own a PS Vita.

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds isn’t just another entry in the franchise, it’s a full-on evolution of the karting formula that finally outshines Mario Kart World. Faster, more demanding, and packed with depth thanks to its gadget system, CrossWorlds mechanic, and unprecedented vehicle and character customization, SEGA has delivered a game that rewards skill, strategy, and risk-taking. Yes, hoverboards feel awkward and the UI could use some love, but on the track, the action is relentless, the races unpredictable, and the fun absolutely infectious. There’s no contest : Mario Kart World has finally met its master, and it’s called Sonic Racing CrossWorlds.

Resident Evil Remaster doesn't add anything to the original game hence it does not pervert it. Pure and true horror at its best with updated graphics, the game is the best way for the new generation of gamers to discover the genesis of survival horror games.
