If there's anything that can be held against Republic Commando, it's that the main story is short and doesn't have all that strong of an overarching story. Fortunately, the gameplay and audio package makes the overall experience worth the time and effort. Republic Commando is certainly one of the better Star Wars games to come out this generation.- Into Liquid Sky

On the plus side, it's long enough to keep the gameplay elements from getting stale over a long period. On the down side, though, if Nintendo could have added a few more elements to the game, they could have extended the game life by at least 1/3rd.- Into Liquid Sky

A ridiculously addictive multiplayer experience that serves as a great party or group-oriented distraction.- Into Liquid Sky

The 2-player aspect of the game is limited by the poor field of view (which would have been better handled with an i-link and two TVs), but the single player mode is serious futuristic racing at it's best.- Into Liquid Sky

It throws out so many references to the source material and stories written by the author that fans can't help but feel the wait has been justified.- Into Liquid Sky

The sequel that will give fans more of what they enjoyed about the first game. Improvements are only minor, but they manage to compliment what was an already excellent package.- Into Liquid Sky

Heck, you should just play this game for the comic-book styled cutscenes alone. Good thing there's a good game in here as well.- Into Liquid Sky

What Black does do right is the fact that you are almost guaranteed to not find another game this action intense in a long time. I've never played a FPS with this much going on and stuff flying around on the screen.- Into Liquid Sky

You'll get out of it what you put in. You can get into the game fairly quickly, but the real rewards come from investing time in the exploration and monster-developing aspects of the game.- Into Liquid Sky

While I can not vouch for the accuracy of this digital version of Los Angeles, I will say that's quite an impressive feat to be able to drive around such a convincing environment, littered with cars and pedestrians.- Into Liquid Sky

There are some repetitive elements, which can be ignored, but the only thing that might keep this game from greatness is that the game engine requires little advanced skill.- Into Liquid Sky

The only outstanding aspect of the game which I wish had been refined was the A.I. of your allies. Since they act on their own accord on a fairly base level, you'll often find them at one extreme or another.- Into Liquid Sky

The game is too bright. Previous titles used the darkness to instill a mood and sense of horror in things you couldn't see. This time around, you can see everything, even in the distance.- Into Liquid Sky

At some parts of the game, you have great sound effects blasting through your speakers but at other parts, you have very sloppy sound effects. What I mean by this having sloppy sound effects is that you sometimes can’t hear what your character is saying.- Into Liquid Sky

A very good game, it's just hidden under a coat of blood and filth. The game engine is good, and the gameplay, graphics and audio are well done. If you can stomach the disturbing images and violence, you'll find a solid stealth/action game.- Into Liquid Sky

The character models are very well done. The facial expressions impressed me the first time I played. The characters have an anime look that I think the developers were trying to pull off and they did a good job.- Into Liquid Sky

It delivers an amazing game experience. This is the best entry yet in the series, and if they choose to continue it I would hope they use this game as the template for future entries.- Into Liquid Sky
